"Sombrero Heaven" Villa is located at MM50 on the Island of Marathon. The Villa is new construction (December 2016) and offers a canal front pool, shaded patio area, private lit dock, dock ladder and ropes, fish cleaning station, covered parking and room for your trailer! An ocean front neighborhood beach is just a couple minutes drive or 10 minute walk! With it's coastal feel decor and all it's amenities, the villa is Island Living at it's best!

~Hop on your boat from your 30' private dock for a day of fishing, snorkeling, diving and boating ~ minutes from open water and a few Nautical Miles from the reef! (Half the dock is 30'. The other half is for use of unit 2 guests).
~Cook your catch in the fully equipped luxury kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops or on the gas grill by the pool! Fish cleaning station on the dock!
~Fish from your private dock!
~Relax and enjoy your morning coffee and evening cocktails on the second story screened balcony as you marvel at the views of the sunrise in the morning and the sunset colored sky in the evening!
~Grab the beach towels and chairs (provided by us) and head to the beach to enjoy the warm sun, refreshing water and breathtaking open water view of the Atlantic!

The spacious and comfortable Living Room boasts a flat screen TV, sleeper sofa and dining area! The Master Bedroom has a flat screen TV, an en suite bath with dual sinks and King size bed. The other 3 bedrooms all have comfy roomy Queen beds! There is a washer and dryer on the main floor, in the kitchen area. We also have covered parking and room for your boat trailer! Plenty of extra parking for additional cars!

There are lots of special, personal touches for you throughout...we have beach chairs and beach towels available for your use! Maid service throughout your stay is available for an additional fee.

3 generations of fun

Every summer we vacation with our kids and grand kids. Usually we go to a fresh water lake, but we really enjoyed our stay in Marathon. We fished, boated, played cards, when to the Lagoon, swam. The house had lots of everything! Thanks

Fantastic family set-up

Layout and location worked very well for our family. Communication with the property manager was great. The availability of a high-chair and play and pack eased our travels with a little one. We were also able to rent additional items from Babyquip just two miles away.

Wonderful house for family of 6!

We absolutely loved our stay at Sombrero Heaven! The house is so clean and has plenty of room for 6. We loved the private pool and downstairs outdoor area. The property manager responded to texts right away, but we only had to reach out once. They came midweek to clean the pool and check chemical levels. We have already discussed booking this place for future family vacations! Loved it so much. Note - We werenā€™t prepared for the summer bugs in FL! We got eaten up the first night. However, we bought some supplies and were ready by night 2 and had a great time. I highly recommend choosing this rental for your vacation!

Excellent Stay in Marathon

The rental was as listed, plus lots of extras that make a vacation easy: stocked spice cabinet, beach chairs, floats, etc. The management company was easy and quick to communicate with. Excellent property central to everything in the Keys.

The villa was nicely furnished & centrally located to Key West & Key Largo. There was plenty of room for our family of 8, & our grandkids thoroughly enjoyed the pool. All in all, it was a great week spent making family memories!!

Wonderful Place To Stay

We had a wonderful time! It was very close to snorkeling, scuba diving, the beach, Key West, and any other attraction we wanted to go to. The pool was fantastic. It was the perfect place for us to all come together at the end of the day. Would definitely recommend!!!

Marathon with boat dock

Perfect vacation. Clean and great to have pool and Dock for boating and snorkeling! Just a bit far in canals but well worth it! Duplex well equipped but could use beach towels, we had to purchase some for our stay !

Great bachelor week with friends

Our group stayed here for a bachelor party in the keys. It was the perfect spot for home base in the middle keys, everything was super clean when we arrived, AC was cold, plenty of fridge and freezer space and nice comfortable beds. Jennifer was very responsive and easy to work with, she accommodated every request I had and got back to me within minutes if I had a question. I would highly recommend this property to any group interested in a stay in the keys.

Good Vibes

This property was better than the pictures. Clean, comfortable, plenty of space for everyone to spread out. The best part was the nice cold, salt water pool. It was wonderful to come back from a hot day fishing and snorkeling on the boat and jump in the pool. Great location close to beach and groceries.

This house was GREAT! It had plenty of space for all of us and was very comfortable and clean! After a long day on the water it was great to cool off in the pool. Also, very conveniently located to publix, kmart, gas stations and the boat ramp. We couldn't have gotten a better location!

Everything was just as listed! We had an awesome time. Walked to Sombrero beach. Beautiful sunsets from the private pool and balcony. Rode bikes and close to grocery and all the great places to eat. Will be back next year

Born and raised in Canada, Marc and Nathalie moved to the USA with their two young children in 1996. After a quick stay in Seattle, the family moved to south Florida in 1998 for Marcā€™s work and this became their new home. The family fell in love with the Florida Keys while vacationing and had a dream to own a home in Marathon. Marc loves fishing and golfing while Nathalie enjoys spending time at the beach or by the pool.

Now that the kids are grown up, we have decided to share our home to others so you can enjoy all of what the Florida Keys have to offer. Perfect weather, beaches, great food, golf, water activities and fishing make the Florida Keys the perfect spot for the whole family.

We loved the fact that this property is brand new with a great coastal design, four bedrooms and all the updated features offered in a custom build! We think Marathon is a great location because we are not too far from the main land, but also close enough to Key West for an easy day trip! The grocery store, great restaurants and everything else we need is so convenient, too!
