Gated subdivision with community pool, tennis court and boardwalk. House overlooks the Dauphin Island Lighthouse. Two huge decks, front and back with great views. Free wifi. Free use of street legal gas six seater golf cart with bluetooth for use throughout the Island.

Main level has kitchen, dining areas, great room and master bedroom. Master bedroom bath has jetted garden tub with separate shower. Access to huge front and rear decks are through the master bedroom, kitchen and great room entry. Upper level has two bedrooms with queen beds with bathroom between them. Downstairs "apartment" has bath, cabinets with sink, queen bed, sofa sleeper, trundle bed, 12-foot ceilings, separate entrance--private from main level house! Perfect for stair challenged or additional family members.

Three separate heating and cooling units (three levels) allows everyone to be on their own comfort zone.

Two Refrigerators and freezers with icemakers.

Green Egg grill is available for your use.

High ceilings throughout (18 feet in greatroom), lots of closets, custom staircase, over 600 square feet of decks! Fourteen-foot clearance under house. Ceramic tile with carpet in Bedrooms and Great room. Eighty-gallon hot water heater.

Amazing!

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house, the neighborhood was so lovely and safe, the views were perfect! The house had everything you need! Our hosts were very accommodating. We would definitely stay again!

Very nice

The property was great, and the view off the back porch was fantastic. The owner was accessible, friendly, and helpful. There was plenty of room, and the cargo lift from the carport to the second floor was absolutely glorious! The neighborhood was quiet, friendly, and gated, and access to the house golf cart was super helpful. The only "problem" was that we had to walk down the road about 5 houses to access the boardwalk to the beach. This is done for protection of the dunes, and personally I'm thankful that the island is environmentally conscious - I didn't mind the walk. It might be a detriment if you have multiple small children and lots of beach equipment. The beach itself was average. We would rent this house again!

Most relaxing vacation ever

There was one small issue that arose during the stay, but John was readily available and had it taken care of immediately. The house was great for our group of 7. The AC was cold on all 3 floors. TV's in every room (if you need that). There are 2 65qt coolers available outside of the house for storing extra items. The only issue we encountered, was the ice maker on the main floor doesn't make much ice. We bought ice from the local store (20# for $5) and kept a cooler full, problem solved. The golf cart was great to get everyone to the boardwalk. The beach area is huge and well maintained. The pool area is very nice and well maintained. There are plenty of chairs and umbrellas at the house. Overall, would book again without hesitation.

Great Hone to Vacation In

The home was the best furnished home we have rented. Everything you could possibly need. John is very generous with furnishings and stock. We had control of the thermostats. When we arrived they were set on 72 so it was wonderful to come into a cool house. John was very responsive and we appreciate his help during our stay.

Very easy to unplug

This house was fantastic, the “dumb waiter” is a feature every house should have that is on stilts. We had a couple of hiccups, however, John and his wife always picked up the phone and went out of there way to get it handled promptly. The boardwalk is easily accessed with the golf cart and the pool was a nice edition.

Great house, great neighborhood

This is our 4th house on Dauphin Island in the Desoto Landing neighborhood & it was great. We return each year because we love how quiet the island is and the beach & pool in the neighborhood are not crowded at all. The house was clean had all we needed for our group of 10. There were many things (chairs, boogie boards, beach toys, etc) to use at the beach. Communication with the owner was great! We noticed one small thing when we first arrived and he had it taken care of immediately. Would stay here again!

A Wonderful Week

We loved our stay at this property and would gladly stay there again. I wish we were still there! In particular, we loved the location and gated community, the deck overlooking the Gulf, the golf cart, cargo lift, jetted tub, and the tennis court. The place was clean, and the beds were comfortable. Communication with the host was excellent. With just a few minor, cosmetic renovations here and there, the place would be a perfect 10/10.

Great house with a beautiful view

This is the first time we rented a house instead of a condo! It was wonderful!! Super clean… had many things on hand for us!! Great view of the beach and the golf cart was a plus! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! Thank you so much!!

Overall a great place! Would stay there again!

Communication with John was great. We had a small issue with the AC on the main floor but he sent someone out to get it taken care of quickly. The house was great overall with just a couple “weird” things. There weren’t dressers or closets to put clothes away and there wasn’t a toaster (that we could find) in the kitchen. The kitchen had everything else you could need. The golf cart was a great feature and made the trip to the boardwalk easier. There was an umbrella for the beach as well as beach chairs. The beds were very comfortable and the bedrooms were roomy. We were overall super pleased with our stay (we had a group of 9 including 3 kids) and would definitely rent the house again!

Enjoyed the stay!

This is a very nice house! Plenty of room to accommodate our group. Location was not bad for us but it does not have access to the beach. Short walk to the public access. Only complaint is that there is very little or no storage for clothing in the bedrooms. We had to keep everything in our suitcases. There was room in the closet to hang things if needed but drawer storage was little or none depending on the bedroom.

Everything was great

We stayed at this property due to evaucting from Ida and it was the perfect house for our family. Very spacious and a great location. The owner was very responsive and helpful. The golf cart was a great bonus!

Everyone had a wonderful time

The place was excellent. Just as advertised. We were right on the beach and you could actually sit on the deck and listen to the ocean. The beach was never crowded and the people were so nice. We had plenty of everything that we needed and everybody didn't want to leave even the kids. We would recommend to anyone and it will be first on my list when we come back to this area. A great get away......

Beautiful view and breezy deck

We had an amazing time! The house was very nice and clean with plenty of room for the 6 of us. My parents loved sitting on the back deck. The use of the golf cart was very nice. The ocean view is great. I would definitely go back.

Island Time

My family enjoyed our stay here. It has an amazing view of the gulf and lighthouse. The amenities were good and close by. All in all, a great time.

Dauphin Island is one of our families favorites

The house was very roomy. We used the apartment downstairs also. We had a nice front row view of the beach but weren’t allowed access directly to the water. Access was through a neighborhood boardwalk. Golf cart was provided to help haul beach gear. A couple of small issues: ice maker not working, no garbage disposal. Overall, John was super nice and we had a great time!

Fun at the beach

Had a wonderful time. The view was awesome. The kids did not want to leave. Having the golf cart and the lift made the stay that much better. Loved the location. The house had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again. Owner would answer my call on the first ring. Great!!!

A 2020 Welcomed Change of Scenery

Breezy Decks lives up to its name. We enjoyed many evenings on the deck, looking out over the ocean. The home was comfortable and totally sufficient for our needs. The house was stocked with ample paper towels, toilet paper, and laundry detergent for 6 people staying 9 days. The furniture was comfortable and clean. The views from inside the house were nice. The bathrooms were adequate. The kitchen table was clunky and hard to sit around around (heavy wrought iron with upholstered seats). The half bath on the second floor was very useful for those who were sleeping on the third floor at night. It was easy to keep the air cool on the second floor, but a little harder on the third floor. The golf cart was a welcomed must for getting to the beach boardwalk. Then, all our paraphernalia had to be carried out to the beach by hand (about 500 feet). A few “wants” would have made our visit even more special: 1. Clarity that you cannot walk directly to the beach from the home. 2. Updated/refreshed paint, wallpaper, flooring. Beach houses take a beating and need to be updated every few years. 3. Comfortable outdoor furniture on the front porch (opposite the ocean view). Sunsets were beautiful but there was no place to sit on this deck except the deck itself. 4. More information about what is available at the home (outdoor fans, beach chairs, beach towels, games, books, paper and cleaning staples, etc.). 5. Advertise the ground floor apartment as overflow only. We didn’t need to use it and we were glad. It was not a place any of us would have wanted to stay. 6. A few other niceties that we left on a notepad for the owner. Nothing major - just would have made our stay more comfortable.

Mixed Family Vacay during COVID

We traveled from Missouri with my husband and sons, my mother, and his parents. The view and location were beautiful. The walk to the beach was doable, even for my mom who has mobility issues. In the middle of making pina coladas, the blender shorted out and began to smoke... after searching every place near the island we called John, the property manager, and he had a very nice blender to us the very next day!!! The pros far outweighed the cons on this trip. My in-laws stayed in the downstairs suite. It definitely doesn’t have as nice of finishes as the main house. It did provide them privacy which was important. There are a lot of steps!!! My mom stayed on the ground floor in the master bedroom because she could never have made it upstairs. The kitchen is small but well appointed. The living room is huge but had very little sitting space. Luckily, we aren’t bothered by taking a place on the floor to play games. Thank you John for our experience on Dauphin Island. Ps... upstairs toilet is a little loose and kitchen cabinet door doesn’t start closed.

Cargo lift just installed. I enjoy the three levels the house offers. Large decks front and rear so there is always breeze in your you like. Three separate central air and heat units so everyone gets their 'way'. Golf Cart. Top of the line mattresses give you a great nights sleep. Fantastic flat screen TV with impeccable clarity. Top quality components throughout the home - we built it to retire in and we took it to another level. Located at the end of the cul-de-sac it offers a very peaceful existence. Great view of the water and Lighthouse. I angled the house to be a direct view. Lots to love about the place!
We also own a Condo next door (for large family gathering overflow) and Six other Vacation homes on the Island.

Great House located in a gated subdivison with pool, tennis court, playground and white sandy beaches. Saltwater pool has restrooms and showers. Boardwalk takes you to the shoreline.

Custom built home with lots of features. Three levels of living space. Never seems "crowded".
I own a Condo next door for 'OVERFLOW" - if needed.

Everyone has their own space and won't feel crowded.
