We enjoyed our stay. Nice quiet neighborhood. My dogs loved it! Stayed the whole month.. visited many different restaurants. The home was well stocked. The tv worked better than ours at home. We would come back.
Great screened in porch.
The dock came in handy.
My dog Grace had a perch.

Great vacation

The house is just as described in the listing. The owners are great communicators. I recommend this place for a small family, especially with a dog.

The house was as pictures. The beds were comfortable. The fenced yard was a plus with our dogs. We cooked and it had everything we needed. LOVED IT

Cute cozy home.

This stay was great. Lots of supplies placed with care. It was very relaxing not to worry about anything and sit in the lanai and watch the dogs play and the birds fly. The host was extremely accommodating. The fence was strong and the dick was well built.I would stay again! Thank you!

Cute cozy place to spend Christmas in

It's quite. Private house. My little Chihuahua loved the backyard. We cooked Christmas dinner here. I think replacing the pots and pans and spraying for ants would make it 5/5 stars. But it's definitely a cute and relaxing place! Super good for the money and we LOVED the screened in porch. Kaykas are a nice touch as well. With a few updates this place could be perfect!

Winter stay in Hudson

My husband and I found the cottage by the canal to be small but comfortable for just the two of us. My husband kayaks, which is the main reason we chose this property. We also enjoyed the many birds and boats we saw on the canal. The property owners were quick to respond and very accommodating. They added a TV to one of the bedrooms upon my request. This property is very close to a busy highway, meaning there was a lot of traffic and traffic noises to deal with, which we weren’t used to. Hudson beach is only a couple of miles away, but it is very small. It’s ok to walk around, and there are some restaurants on the water. The nearest gulf beaches are about an hour’s drive from the property (Honeymoon Island and Fred Howard). We spent 11 weeks there, the price was affordable, and overall we had a good stay!

Great House.

The house is an older home but very clean and comfortable. We loved the fenced in yard for the dogs which was one of the reasons we chose this rental. It is within 1-15 minutes of many fun bars and tasty restaurants. I would not hesitate to rent this house again.

We stayed for the month of April, our son stayed with us for 3 days. Was a nice area, met the folks across the canal, they were very nice and from Michigan, my home grounds. Stores & restaurants were closeby, and we had friends just north that we got to visit.

Coziest home in Hudson!

From the day we booked our stay, Ha Thu was absolutely wonderful to work with! Communication was easy and prompt. The home was bright, convenient to shopping, dining and entertainment AND was stocked with everything you could imagine from a full kitchen to the small touches you need on a vacation. True thoughtfulness and love went into this rental and it shows. The neighborhood was quiet and the neighbors were very friendly. We highly recommend staying here!

Fishing Trip

We had a wonderful time staying at the jumping mullet. Check in was simple and the host is wonderful. We needed a simple location to dock the boat and our focus was solely on fishing and boating. The house met our needs. Mr Abe, the wonderful neighbor gave us instructions as to the channel navigation in order to avoid what I named Tourist Rock and the locals call the prop eater. He even drove our truck to the boat landing to help us load up. The hosts are the type of people who really want you to enjoy the experience and are sincere. We plan on going back.

It was a perfect location for us.

The location was very quite and easy to get in & out to hwy 19. It was a great place to stay for the two of us. There was heat when we needed it & air conditioners that worked great. My husband fished & kayak. The owners are very nice to deal with. Would stay there again. Just not sure where we will be traveling next winter yet.

Throughly enjoyable

Having lived in Florida,kept us busy seeing old sights. A day at Weekie Watchie mermaid show & park was a day filled with fun. There's a lot to do in nearby parks and renting a canoe proved to be an adventure. It was nice to come home after a day out and about and find our old little dog relaxed and happy. We were happy to have the peace and quiet evenings.

Pet friendly!

We took 2 cats and a dog on our first retirement trip to warm weather. The house was clean, but not fancy. Tile floors throughout, a screened porch, and fenced backyard met all of our reqirements for keeping pets safe as well as comfortable. We also enjoyed sitting on the dock and drinking a glass of wine each afternoon. Kayaking to the bay was wonderful!

Kathy and Ralph are guests extraordinary !! Ralph was so kind and generous with his skill and time: he did a lot of repairs and improvements to our place. We were so surprised and touch by his gift. Awesome couple. so kind and caring.

In Spring of 2012 , we were lucky to be able to retire to Florida from Maryland. Now we can enjoy sunshine , warm weather and out door activities year round.

We had this house on vacation rental since 2013 , advertised on vacation rental connection & craiglist . After a lot of repairs and upgrades we deemed it nice enough to list it on VRBO in 2016 and Airbnb in 2018
We treat our guests fair and honest , most became our friends, who sent us nice e-mail.

recently we have a nice couple from Idaho spent the winter with us. He was a retired navy man, used to be active so he painted our front porch and trims, building shelves and organized our shed ! the list went on... we were floored by his ingenuity and kindness, we had no ideas.

We love the gentle surf of the Gulf, I feel safe kayaking in the no wake zone of the canals and the shallow flat, which has lots of wading birds at low tide and plenty of fish at high tide.
Fishing and going on kayak whenever I want is a dream come true for me.
The water are so clear, at low tide you can see all the way to the bottom,.
school of fish darting, jumping at your approach on kayaks or just cruising underneath you.

our guess comfort is important to us, so we strive to give them and their pets a casual, relax and clean environment. while maximize the enjoyment of nature and outdoor activity : fishing, kayaking, bird watching....

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

We always have dogs in our house, and we like to take them with us on vacation, and they also love going to new places. That's why we don't charge extra rental fee or deposit for your pets.
The first thing we do after getting the house is getting a study floating dock with benches to enjoy the water, the dogs love to be so close to ducks & ducklings. Sea birds use the open canal as a fly way. Plenty of fish and crabs at the dock.
the screen in porch overlooks the canal is our favorite place to relax, read, enjoy the nice weather and watching the fish jump. Of course, cats love to hang out in there too.
