Set within its own walled landscaped garden the villa is tastefully decorated and has everything you need for a luxurious and relaxing holiday. The villa comprises of two self contained ground and first floor luxury accommodation for up to five guests or as a whole villa for up to 8 guests, ideal for LARGE GROUPS & WEDDING PARTIES.

There are many wonderful walks around the villa The harbour and beach of Pessada are only a 10 minutes walk away.Saint Gerasimos monastery with its amazing interior is a 20 min drive away.A trip to the Mellisani Lake and the Drogorati Cave are worth a visit, Saint George Castle is a10 min drive. The villa is perfect for large and small parties such as one or two families holidaying together or a group of friends.Because the villa has 2 kitchens, 2 lounge,4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and number of dining areas which will give you and your party great flexibility during your stay.

This beautiful villa is situated in a lovely quiet little village with easy walking to the beach or local shop/retaurant/bar. The Kefalonians are so genuinely friendly and nice and the Greek cuisine and Tavernas are amazing! Would book this place gain in a heartbeat. Mike & Eileen were really helpful with great advice and recommendations for superb eateries and places to go and do. It's our second day being back home and we miss the place and the island already.Thank you Mike & Eileen for helping to make our holiday go off without a hitch.See you again next time!Shaun & Team

Peaceful family orientated villa

Beautiful villa, pool and garden. Really well equipped. Our host Mike was attentive, friendly and informative about everything we needed to know for our first stay in Kefalonia. Added bonus were some local well behaved cats who made us feel at home. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to go back.

Villa Kallisto Kefallonia

The Villa layout with the 2 independent floors was great & worked out well for our family. The villa facilities, cleanliness the pool & the private location was ideal, with nearby beach & Bar. Mike the host was on hand when we needed him & provided details of local restaurants & knowledge of the Island. Would certainly recommend this villa for a family Holiday.

Perfect villa in fantastic location

Perfect villa for our party of 7 adults. Spotless, roomy, AC in bedrooms/lounge. Good size pool, BBQ, lovely views, all in a quiet location. Has all the white goods etc you need and Mike left us a welcome-arrival pack of goodies which was brilliant and well received. Lovely little Beach a short walk away (longer coming back!) and in the opposite direction 10 min walk to 2 tavernas one of which is Secret bar and is excellent. 3 good supermarkets 10 min drive away and airport is approx 15 minutes drive. Mike is a brilliant host, helpful and informative of the island, his comms are excellent. Very much looking forward to returning to Kefalonia, and would definitely return to this beautiful Villa. Thank you Mike for hosting us.

Nice Villa but needed to drive to good tavernas and beaches (no brilliant beaches), local beach down 200 steps, imposible for ancients like me.

It does say on the villa information that some of the best restaurants on the island are within a 10 minute drive also there are places you can eat within walking distance and pessada beach is also in walking distance and it is 98 steps to be precise but there are beaches within a short drive where you can step out of the car straight onto the beach

A wonderful time

The villa was very spacious and well equipped, idea for a party of 4 couples. The pool was a very good size and beautifully lit in the evening and there was more than enough outside space for everyone in a very pretty garden. The location was ideal for the south coast of the island with beaches, shops etc a short drive away. The host was very approachable, generous and full of helpful suggestions to make our stay perfect. We would certaintly look to return to this property on our next visit to kefalonia.

Beautiful Villa

Fantastic, well equipped Villa on two levels- ideal for two families to share with independence. Beautiful quiet setting and gorgeous garden. BBQ and Pool were spot on (with plenty of sun beds!). Air conditioning was a godsend as were comfy beds. Enjoyed having a choice of areas to sit and eat or relax with a drink in the evening- fantastic view from balcony towards the sea and Zante. Owners Mike and Eileen very helpful during booking and again once we were there; leaving a beautiful full welcome baskets of treats and great recommendations for restaurants to visit and best supermarkets etc. Highly recommend and would love to return.

Exceptional

Everything about the villa was great. One of the cleanest we have stayed in. The pool was very well looked after and a joy to use. You do need a car. We were an easy 10 mins walk from the closest tucked away beach. A must visit. The sea was turquoise crystal clear all across the island. We couldn't get over how clean and tidy everywhere was. There are some fabulous restaurants 10, 15, 20 minutes away by car. All serving authentic Greek food. Lots of pretty villages near by to explore. I can't praise Mike and Eileen enough. Perfect hosts. They gave us some excellent advise of nearby events, restaurants and how the Greeks drive, particularly the peculiar rule on most, but not all, roundabouts! All our family made lasting happy memories. Thank you so very much. 100% recommend a stay in this villa and the beautiful surroundings.

Gorgeous, clean villa

I can't rate this villa, and Mike, the owner, highly enough. The villa is clean and gorgeous. The pool is perfect, and the air conditioning works really well. The villa is equipped with everything you could need, and Mike was instantly contactable and really helpful. He even came to the airport to meet us at 11pm so he could guide us to the villa in the dark. there are some lovely restaurants in the area, and perfect snorkelling and swimming beaches within a 5 or 10 minute drive. if you are considering Kefalonia, and this villa, you really couldn't do much better. The perfect holiday and reset after this last 18 months!

Villa Kallisto a true gem!

From start to finish our stay at this villa was just perfect. It is stunning and is positioned in such a lovely position within walking distance to a beautiful beach and lovely village tavernas. The views are breathtaking. Mike has made sure your stay at the villa is as comfortable as possible, with everything catered for. Was a great size for 6 adults with loads of room and to have two separate floors with kitchens in each was great for all to spread out. We made good use of the wonderful pool and bbq. This villa is the perfect sanctuary to return when visiting surrounding areas in Kefalonia or to just stay put. It definitely lives up to all expectations. Book it! You really will have a wonderful time here. We did and were all sad to leave. Thanks Mike, and for the car ride back to the airport for some of our party!

Beautiful Villa

Communication with the owner, Mike was fantastic from the moment we booked. Mike met us at the villa the day after we arrived welcoming us to the villa and making sure we had everything we needed. He gave us some great recommendations for days out and places to eat! He was available throughout our stay if we needed anything at all, nothing was too much trouble for him. The villa is so well equipped, it has everything anyone could need and more. (Including adapter plugs, beach towels etc). The villa is beautiful, with loads of room for the 7 of us that stayed. The pool is wonderful and there are enough inflatables for everyone to be happy! The area is stunning, I’ve never seen water so clear. We had such a wonderful holiday and the villa was the perfect base for us to explore the area and relax. If we return to Kefalonia this would be my number one place to stay. I would highly recommend Mike’s villa to anyone visiting the island. Perfect!

Fabulous accommodation, superbly equipped.

Peaceful, beautifully clean and very comfortable. I have never stayed somewhere where the kitchen was so well equipped. The welcome basket was amazingly generous and the stocked wine rack meant we could try local wine before buying which was great. Only a couple of negatives for us. We didn’t like the six cats that invaded us so we couldn’t keep any doors open. Not feeding them made no difference. While the walk down to the nearest cove was short, taking 18 mins, there are 118 steps down to it and it took much longer to walk back up the hill. We didn’t find anywhere to eat that was walkable open so car essential. It was particularly peaceful as the neighbouring villa was empty. If it had not been the proximity of others might have impinged.

Superb !

We have just returned from a fabulous fortnight in the sun at Villa Kallisto.The villa was beautiful-spacious,spotlessly clean,excellently equiped and brilliantly located.All the people who look after the villa are very helpful and efficient which made our holiday stress-free.The pool is lovely and big and our teenagers loved it.They also appreciated the big T.V and DVD selection. We loved the tranquil location down the private road and the fact that the idyllic local beach was just a short walk from the villa.We were lucky enough to witness turtles hatching and making their way down to the sea which was amazing for all of us. We liked the fact that Argostoli with its busy sea front and lively resaurants and shops was so near,yet the villa itself was such a haven of eace and relaxation. We would like to say a big thank you to Mike and Eileen for their excellent pre-holiday information and communication.It really helped us get the most out of our stay on Kefallonia,further enhancing what was a truly superb holiday.

Perfect for a relaxing family holiday

We had a lovely, relaxing holiday at the end of August in Villa Kallisto. The villa itself is in great condition, it is full of modern fixtures and fittings with lots of furniture available. The location is beautiful and is not full of other tourists, it is a quaint little village which is exactly what we wanted. The views from the upstairs balcony are to die for, Mount Ainos on one side and views over the Zakynthos on the other! Prior to arrival Mike and Eileen were both excellent to deal with and were quick to respond to any queries we had, which there were a few! They also gave us some recommendations on restaurants (The Olive Lounge is stunning) and advised we should hire a car, which we did and would also recommend others to do. The little sandy cove at the bottom of the hill at Pessada was beautiful with crystal clear water and some great snorkelling round by the marina. The pool was a good size and well maintained, we had trouble getting the kids out of it! It was cleaned midweek during our stay too which was nice. We enjoyed using the BBQ area to eat on a couple of nights too. I could go on and on about what a lovely time we had but all in all if you are looking to book this villa, just do it, you won't regret it. Thanks Mike and Eileen for having us!

Couldn't Have Been More Perfect for our Party of 8!!!

Thank you, Mike and Eileen for, sharing your wonderful house with us. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about it - it is spacious, sunny, tastefully decorated, comfortable, well-equipped, etc. The layout gave our party of eight a lot of space for privacy if we should choose, but also a lot of space in which to spend time together. We were fortunate to have our own private chef with us (my husband was a chef before becoming a baker) so we took full advantage of the kitchens, the great barbecue, the meat market on the way to Argostoli and the fish market in Argostoli. After sea kayaking all day, it was really nice to cool off in the pool with a glass of rose while dinner was being prepared! We appreciated the thoughtful welcome package, and the use-and-replace wine arrangement - it simplified our evening arrival to the island after 26 hours of travel. I highly recommend this house and would love to be able to come back to it some day. (I only have one complaint - we tried multiple times, but we never did find the access to the secluded sandy beach!! We finally saw it from our kayaks, but would like to have seen it from land! Oh well, we got to enjoy a lot of other beaches, and our ever elusive beach gave us something to joke about!)

Our lovely stay at Villa Kallisto

We have not long returned from a week with friends at this beautiful villa. We arrived on the island to glorious weather, always a bonus. Our hire car was waiting for us at the airport and we where soon on our way to the villa via the easy to follow directions. The roads are virtually car free and easy to navigate. The villa is amazing, the high standards of the fixtures, fittings and furniture are evident and everything for a pleasurable stay has been thought of. There is a wonderful BBQ and we used this twice buying meat from a local butcher and groceries and drinks from a nearby supermarket. The views from the villa are beautiful with the mountains to one side and behind,and Zante can be seen across the sea from the upstairs balcony. Mike and Eileen the owners have thought of everything, even providing games, books and a DVD player with a great selection of movies. The pool area is charming with colourful flowers in the well stocked gardens that gave a wonderful scent especially in the evening. The pool was lovely and warm and we made full use of the inflatables that are provided. Eileen and Mike have provided two books with tourist information, they are full of suggestions for places to visit and directions to local tavernas. We can honestly say that Kefalonia and the Villa Kallisto are both charming and beautiful and well worth visiting and I can recomend this beautiful Villa to anyone.

Excellent stay, fantastic villa

Our party consisted of two family's, which the villa suited perfectly. Beautiful area, very private and peaceful. The village has a small shop with a cafe attached. There is a winery which serves meze, we didn’t try this as we had young kids who are fussy eaters. There is a great taverna, with the most beautiful views. Argostoli is only 15 mins by car and a must visit, so beautiful. The villa is beautiful, great layout. All needs catered for. Most of our time was spent outside in the beautiful pool and relaxing on the sun loungers. There’s lots of pool toys for the kids which was perfect. Great communication on the run up to the holiday, very responsive. A lovely welcome hamper which was great as we arrived fairly late and it meant we didn’t have to venture out to shops. Mike visited the next day, he messaged first. Mike is such a fantastic host, loads of great advice around places to eat and visit. All his recommendations were brilliant. You will need a car, Mike recommended a fab car hire, it was the easiest car hire we’ve ever used. Again great communication. If you have young kids a really good day out is the water park at Lixouri. You take the car ferry from Argostoli, which runs every 20 mins all day, every day. Very efficient and only takes around 15/20 mins to cross. The water park has 5 slides and a lovely pool area with plenty of sun beds. We didn’t eat at the park, we took a short stroll to the beach and ate at the taverna, which was lovely.

Wunderbares Haus

Sehr schönes, sehr gut ausgestattetes Haus mit Pool inmitten eines Olivenhains, das 8 Personen genügend Platz bietet. Zu Fuß ca. 15 Min zum Strand.

Great Week at Villa Kallisto

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Kefalonia and stay at Villa Kallisto. Mike was a wonderful host who checked in with us and offered fantastic guidance to the property and island. The villa is spotlessly clean, has a large pool and wonderful grounds. We would highly recommend a stay at the villa.

An alle die einen ruhigen Urlaub mögen

Es ist eine wunderschöne Villa, sauber, alles vorhanden was man benötigt. Mike ist ein ausgesprochen netter Gastgeber, er hat uns schon vor der Anreise reichlich Informationen zugesendet, während des Aufenthalts war er jederzeit erreichbar und äußerst hilfsbereit. Man fühlte sich einfach willkommen!
