Provided all we needed

The place itself was a stylish space; very clean and comfortable in a great location about a 10/15 minute walk from the centre. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Barcelona.

Great location

We loved the pool, location - we walked almost everywhere but Uber available, great restaurants and grocery shops right behind the corner. Much quieter location than close to the Rumble str. We had a great time. There were 5 of us and we had plenty of room. Management office was right next door so convenient. Definitely recommend this property. kat

Pontos positivos: Limpeza e localização
Pool was dirty and looked unsafe with railing rusted, hence did not use. Had to buy toilet paper as only one roll in each bathroom.Unit was functional but the freezer stopped working shortly after arrival and could not find a switch or whether it just stopped working.

Not worth the money

I am sure when the unit was brand new it was lovely but at this point it is so beaten up and outdated that it was not a pleasant stay. Doors scrape against floors, toilets aren't properly secured to the ground, everything is scratched and scuffed, doors squeak, the kitchen cabinets all hit one another. The unit was not that well-cleaned when we arrived. The sink was so clogged when we arrived that by day 3 we needed someone to come fix it. Communication with MySpace is spotty at best, it is often hard to get in touch with them. Even though the unit is listed as non smoking there is a distinct stale smell of cigarettes and must when you walk in. There are some positives: the shower in the master bedroom has great pressure, we did not have any problems with noise at night except occasionally from a neighbor and the location is very good. We did not use the pool since it is not heated. Overall would not stay again.

Needs some TLC

The responsiveness of the management team was very good; used WhatsApp; no language barrier issue. Rental needs significant TLC. It is very worn. As you can see from some of the pictures, there were broken boards on the deck and in the living room, the deck furniture was in disrepair, and the countertop by the stove was significantly cracked. The mattresses were not good & definitely need to be updated. The Wi-Fi was spotty & weak. Some blinds fell when we tried to use them; handyman came to fix right away tho. It felt like we were sharing the terrace with the neighbors who were constantly smoking (we are not smokers). There was confusion regarding renting the beach towels for 5 as it notes in the confirmation email. The management company in this location doesn’t have beach towels and did not know what I was talking about.I felt that there were significant issues with paying for the rental. We wanted to pay through VRBO but could not. For some reason, VRBO is OK with this. You need a link to pay with cc, but we were never given the link until a couple days before and then told it would be a 5% fee to use a cc. We were given a link for a wire transfer, which I was not comfortable with, and this method would not have met the requirement to be completed prior to our arrival. In the end, we paid cash and it was fine. The process felt scammy and very disjointed though. Overall, we feel the price was too high for the state of the property.
Deck boards
Deck table
Broken chair. Used books to make functional.
View from the backyard.

Very nice apartment in a quiet area of Barcelona. It was very practical being right next to their office as we could contact them directly if there was anything. It was a shame the swimming pool was not heaten as we could not really use it but I am sure it is amazing to have this one during the summer.
