Luxury penthouse Mijas golf, beautifully decorated with mountain views.

Newly modernised we bought this property to compliment our other Penthouse on the resort of Los Golondrinas Phase 2 which has been very popular with families as well as golfers. Larger parties can book both apartments if available, the other is property number 8670289 . The apartment itself has been fully redecorated and furnished to a very high standard with new air conditioning and very spacious bedrooms. The penthouse is exceptionally large at 110m2 with a terrace for admiring the views at 25m2. With walking distance to the two main courses in Mijas you will be perfectly located for a golf break or family break around the large pool. The main bedroom has large doors opening on to the terrace creating a very light airy atmosphere and when you open those doors with your coffee in the morning the views are of Mijas Pueblo in the mountains and the pool area .The terrace itself has a six seat dining set perfect for outside dining which we love as the mountains are lit up beautifully in the evening. At Mijas golf we have a large heated swimming pool on the gated community in immaculately kept gardens and a private parking space underground to park your hire car or bike hire. Locally we have 5 bars and restaurants within walking distance and the taxi rank on our doorstep. The apartment is 10 minutes drive to the beaches of Fuengirola and La Calla, which boast lively night life and an abundance of restaurant's to cater for every taste. The area is a renowned mountain bike and road cycling must do and we consider the apartment a great base for the cycle set and golfers and families alike. Locally we have the matchroom country club, El Golf and hotel La Zambra for food and drinks but the apartment has a comprehensive booklet showing all local eateries we recommend etc. With a 15 minute drive from Malaga airport the apartment is quickly reached and we can if necessary organise transfers at a fee. With a recent refurbishment and addition of modern fittings such as 49" LCD and tasteful leather sofas we believe this to be a home from home for you to enjoy. Our kitchen is fully equipped for all your catering needs, having been a chef for some years I realize the need for everything at your fingertips and we always provide a little welcome pack of wine and a few nibbles to get you on your way to an enjoyable holiday.

Amazing communication and great location for Malaga and golfing. Trish was always available and the extra touch of a few snacks and drinks on arrival helped especially as shops were closed. A few flies in the rooms on arrival, suspect from airing out the rooms was the only gripe.

As we take great care to cater for all our guests needs Sam and Heather needed a travel cot and high chair for their toddler , provided no problem! Early check in was also greatly appreciated and all questions were responded to quickly and above all Sam and Heather were great guests

Amazing Penthouse in Mijas Golf

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the penthouse has been finished to a high standard, the terrace with the outside seating and dining area was great. Trish is an excellent host everything we needed was provided including a welcome pack. We would definitely stay here again!

It was an amazing place. We loved it. Lovely apartment. Lovely caring host. Enabled such a quick turn around for us on short notice when a previous apartment was not suitable. It was quite well equipped kitchen-wise. We would love to come back and stay at Trish's place. You definitely need a car here as there isn't anything you can walk to. But we liked that it was quiet.

Stay at Las Golondrinas penthouse

The property lived up to our expectations, clean and comfortable. The main bathroom did not have shampoo or liquid soap filled up but my son brought some. The quality and freshness of towels were great. The pool was not crowded and it was well maintained.

A lovely apartment in a serene setting

Trish and Neale’s apartment is lovely. The location is perfect for a relaxing holiday. The fixtures and fittings are top notch and very sumptuous. The balcony is great for sitting out, with the sun on it pretty much all day. It was like a home from home, only with sun! I will definitely be retuning.

Luxurious getaway

The apartment was very beautiful with a lovely terrace and pool. Our host was very welcoming and kind! She responded immediately to questions and she genuinely cared that our time was enjoyable. We had to use a car service to go anywhere - it was our experience that it was not a walkable location. However, our stay was great with the beautiful view and lovely apartment.

Hi Mika we always appreciate feedback but find this review strange after a month of you leaving and no mention of any issues whilst at my home. We have a team of people at Mijas to cater for all issues so I can only assume after 1 month has elapsed you chose to sadly give us a bad review after 7 years of 4-5 star reviews. To respond our cutlery is for 5 people and all stainless steel so we are baffled at the comment. Our outdoor furniture is new this season and most certainly not broken as it is glass and aluminium. Also as you know the severe rain and floods have been an issue in the Costa Del Sol, being a penthouse we are exposed to rain and this interspersed with the Sahara sand can leave the terrace stained. For the bedding again they are all new and freshly laundered each and every time the apartment is vacated. At the time of your stay we contact you regularly to ensure all is well and you assured us that you were happy. I would recommend to any home owner not to rent to a family like yourself who posts damaging reviews 4 weeks after leaving our apartment in such a bad condition of untidiness. We thank you for your review and hope we have responded in a manner which upholds our reputation.

Highly recommended!

I’d give Trish and Neale 10 stars if I could! This property is set in a gorgeous complex with stunning, extremely well kept gardens. The pool is a lovely size and has ample areas around for multiple guests to enjoy the sunshine. We took trish’s advice and hired a car, they have an exceptionally helpful manual in the apartment of things to do locally, as well as highly recommended things Trish mentioned to me in personal conversation as well. We took a day trip into Gibraltar and went on a boat trip out to see the dolphins - I have to say this was the highlight of our trip! If you book this make sure you use the company in the manual not the yellow boat (others on our boat had booked with them 3x and not seen any dolphins!) I also highly recommend the Mijas water park which is right by the main fueringerola town, we took advantage of their second day offer for half price. The area is nice and quiet making it a lovely get away with beautiful views! You’re also just over a 5 min drive from central fueringerola laden with shops, bars and gorgeous restaurants! The apartment itself was cleaned to extremely high standards! We couldn’t fault it at all, the decor is absolutely stunning! We ate out a relative amount but when we did cook we found everything we needed in the apartment that we would find in our own kitchen at home. I love the large table on the balcony, most apartments don’t cater outside chairs for the full party making eating outside together difficult but with 6 seats we had no problem at all! The air con system cooled the apartment down quickly too and a huge thank you to Neale helping me with the settings late on our first evening! The customer service has been second to none, with the covid 19 situation we were in contact regularly with Trish and she always replied very promptly and in a highly professional manner. This apartment truly is a home from home and I can not recommend it highly enough! Trish and Neale have put together extensive directions from the airport, the manual of so many things to do locally, directions of the tv settings and more! A lot of effort goes into making sure this let is a perfect holiday home for each and everyone that stays and we would certainly not hesitate to book here again! Thank you so much to Trish and Neale for making our stay very welcoming and truly wonderful! You can expect to see us again in the future! Clare and family : ))

El alojamiento está muy bien en ubicación e instalaciones, el punto que falló en nuestra estancia fue la limpieza, al parecer la persona que lleva la limpieza no la realizó correctamente para nuestra llegada y cuando le pedimos al propietario que lo revisara y rectificara, la persona de la limpieza llegó con una prepotencia horrible, pero es algo mejorable, por el resto muy bien la verdad.

Thank you for the review of which we have spoken to our staff to ascertain the facts. Lauren our housekeeper attended to your complaint about a hair on a pillow and when she could not find it and told you the bedding was new that morning sadly she was spoken to in a aggressive and rude manner. Lauren was really upset by this and we assured her we would ask any guest to leave if staff are mistreat. Ironically our home was left in a very untidy condition and not how we would expect our home to be left. We wish you well and thank you for your stay.

Het verblijf was uitstekend. De gastvrouw was zeer attent en stuurde ruim voor tijd de beschrijving voor de toegang toe. De locatie is perfect voor ons. De rust van het appartementen complex en de drukte als we die wilde opzoeken op 10 min met de auto/taxi naar Fuengirola. Het appartement was groot. Ruime slaapkamers (2) en fijne badkamers(2). De woonkamer met keuken waren met een barretje gescheiden en waren zeer ruim. Alles was aanwezig wat je nodig hebt voor een perfecte vakantie zoals koel/vrieskast, fornuis, Bestek en borden, glazen en pannen. Koffiezet machine en waterkoker, genoeg bergruimte, TV met fijne bank en goed beeld. Het terras was meer dan voldoende met fijne bankjes en de eettafel die op het 2e terras stond was groot genoeg met ook fijne stoelen. Vanaf het terras kijk je op het zwembad en in de verte Mijas Pueblo. Dat was vooral avonds een geweldig plaatje. Het zwembad was heerlijk groot. Ik schat 15x 5 meter. Het water was heerlijk. De bedjes die er staan kun je gewoon gebruiken en als het niet te druk is, kun je ook gebruik maken van de parasols. Alles in de tuin en zwembad was perfect onderhouden. De heerlijke geur van verschillende bloemen en planten werkte rustgevend. Alles maar dan ook alles aan het appartement is zeer goed bijgehouden en het complex ook. De garage is makkelijk toegankelijk maar om je auto op zijn plek te krijgen moet je er even behendigheid in zien te krijgen. Al met al een geweldig appartement met een zeer fijne gastvrouw (Trish)

Wir haben uns in der liebevoll gestalteten und super sauberen Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt! Die Kommunikation mit den Eigentümern war jederzeit hervorragend. Wenn wir noch einmal in der Gegend Urlaub machen, gerne wieder dort! Allerdings benötigt man zwingend ein Auto, um überall hinzukommen.

Golf - Resa

Fantastisk värd med ordning och reda. Härlig pool i området. Många golfbannor i närområdet. Det som drog ner ena betyget var att det inte fanns några matbutiker i nära bostaden så man får gå en bra bit eller ta bil/taxi. I övrigt var allt toppen.

Simply put this property is next door to our other penthouse so we thought it would cater for larger parties having both apartments. Also I feel that this apartment overlooking the pool is great for families and the views of the mountains in the evening are spectacular.

The apartment is extremely large in comparison to others. The underground parking is perfect for entering the apartment via the security gates giving you privacy and accessibility. The furnishings in this apartment are beautiful and all new for spring 2019. We have a dining set on the terrace which is 25m2 which myself and my family love as the views of the mountains at night are breath taking.
