Three bedrooms, two baths, eat in kitchen, dining room, back porch and yard, full laundry room, and storage garage will make your stay for up to six persons a cherished memory. Has potential if cleaned properly

The house had a terrible smell and was very dirty. I spent 2 hours cleaning but couldn’t get rid of the smell. We had to leave because it made my daughter and toddler granddaughter sick. The owner refunded half our money and deposit. The house is a nice size and great location but need professional makeover and cleaning.

Best vrbo in ventnor

Jon is the best and the house is perfect a great place to stay really close to the beach you could throw a baseball and hit the beach the sounds of the waves from the front porch to the little touches jon and his family have made to the home will make you feel welcome and safe it is very safe for kids thanks jon for everything

Great family home away from home

Jon's place was the perfect vacation home for our family. It's fully stocked with all the necessities, kitchen has new microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, Keurig as well as an array of small appliances (Foreman grill and crock pot) for use. Se easy to prepare meals for kids who are always eating. We just showed up, ordered groceries delivered through Shipt and went right to the beach! The neighborhood is safe and friendly, we were able to just relax on the porch in the evening and let the kids ride their hoverboards and skates while we chatted with the neighbors. What a lovely little bike friendly and walking community! The beach, restaurants, coffee shop and ice cream are just a short 2 to 4 block walk from the house. We had a fantastic time and the week just flew by. Thank you so much Jon for sharing your lovely home with our family. We'll have memories for a lifetime of our wonderful vacation in the Downbeach community!

I had a great stay in Jon’s place. It’s a short walk (or drive) to the beach (on the beach block). There are also great restaurants near by. We had a great time, I look forward to returning soon!

Dated, smelly, not clean

We agreed to rent a this house for a week in middle of June. We saw pictures that seemed to show the house in satisfactory condition. We asked to stay at the home for a night on over Memorial Day which we paid for. On that day and night, we found the conditions to be unacceptable. The carpets were all damp, there was a strong smell of mildew throughout the home, the paint was peeling, and there was an overall dirty condition to the house. We contacted the homeowner immediately and asked for our money back for the rental week a couple of weeks later. Despite repeated requests, the homeowner refused to make any refund. On the first day of the rental week, we stopped by the house to see its condition. Nothing changed. The carpets were damp, there were damp towels laid on top of the couches, the garbage was not empty, there was mildew and musty smell throughout the house, the paint was peeling. The conditions were not sanitary. We left after 5 minutes and we contacted the owner again requesting a refund which he refused. We had to seek accommodations elsewhere at an additional expense to ourselves. I do not recommend this house.

The house was very clean and well maintained.

We loved the house with its nice size bedrooms, clean and spacious living room, dining room and kitchen. The front porch was most delightful. Most evenings, after a nice walk on the boardwalk (only three blocks away), I enjoyed reading on the porch. My husband preferred a large screen TV. Jon, the owner, was very nice and accommodating. There are many beach toys and chairs available in the garage. The street is nice and pleasant, with very friendly next door neighbors who even offered us some homegrown tomatoes (we declined, but it was a nice touch). We hope to come back and would recommend this property to our friends. Luba A.

Cozy beach house

We had a wonderful time at the Ventnor Beach house. Location is great with a short walk to the beach and some fantastic BYOB restaurants as well as a nice coffee café. The house was clean and comfortable and perfect for us and our two doggies. Jon was very responsive and in general a great landlord for the week. We will hope to return again.
