With excellent footpaths right from the door, this lovely detached bungalow is the ideal place to call home.. All on the Ground Floor:

Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds

Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Toilet. Biomass central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and logs for wood burner included. Travel cot and highchair available on request. Lawned garden with patio and garden furniture. Bike store. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: The property has a natural water supply from a borehole.. Nestled in the heart of Norfolk, this comfortable detached bungalow features a private, south-facing enclosed garden with a spacious patio, along with direct access to scenic countryside walks from the doorstep. Ideally located, it provides easy access to many of the county’s most popular attractions, including the historic city of Norwich, National Trust houses and gardens, the Sandringham Estate, the Norfolk Broads, and the award-winning, dog-friendly coastline.

The surrounding area offers something for everyone, from family days out at Dinosaur Adventure Park to fishing, nature reserves, horse riding, golf, and cycling. Just 1¼ miles away is the charming village of Lyng, set within the picturesque Wensum Valley, where you’ll find a local shop and a welcoming pub.

Whether you’re looking for a peaceful countryside escape or an activity-filled holiday, this property provides the perfect base for year-round breaks.

Poplar Bungalow is in an idyllic rural location with wildlife that can be seen just by looking out of the window. Local amenities are not plentiful nearby because of the location, but we were most happy with this. There is a useful shop/cafe in nearby Lyng. The countryside is lovely for walks. The owner was very kind and helpful and we would be pleased to stay at this accommodation again.The directions supplied by Cottages.com which we tried to follow were not accurate and caused difficulty. We resorted to the sat.nav.

Visited for a short break to celebrate my elderly mums birthday. The cottage was spotless and lovely and warm. Dog friendly with a field next to it to exercise your dog. Plenty of places close by to eat, and a shop in the village for any necessities, eg wine. Would certainly visit again.

Lovely bungalow with everything (and more) that you could need. Spotlessly clean and beautiful decor and lovely special little touches everywhere. Heating was appreciated as the evenings are beginning to get cooler. Owner was extremely helpful and made sure we were happy and everything was ok.

Owners made us very welcome.

Owners made us very welcome. Location ideal if like us you love the countryside. The bungalow was very comfortable and we wanted for nothing. Location was in easy reach of the park & ride for Norwich. We also travelled to the coast easily & the broads at Wroxham. Lovely holiday would certainly use Poplar Bungalow in the future!
