Enjoy your next Mountain Vacation in this Amazing Waterfall Cabin. The Lodge on Slick Rock Falls is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath with a beautiful creek running through the property and a fantastic waterfall in the backyard. Complete with a WiFi, hot tub, gas grill, outdoor dining, gas fireplace inside and fire pit outside.

Image yourself in the most beautiful part of the Smoky Mountains surrounded by mountains. Relax under the stars in your private hot tub. Enjoy family barbeques on the wrap around deck or share memories around an open fire pit. This is a dog friendly cabin complete with a fence in yard and gates that secure the wrap around porch. Slick Rock Falls offers accommodation for 4 adults and 2 children on a sofa bed.

PLEASE NOTE: There is a one time $75 pet fee that covers 2 pet for your entire of your stay.

Located midway between Hendersonville and Chimney Rock. The road t the cabin is OPEN, but the road to Chimney Rock is closed for reconstruction,

Great little cabin. Loved the creek in the back yard and the hot tub. Perfect spot, not far from Hendersonville and not far from Asheville. Dog friendly a great plus. Host was available and responded quickly when we had any questions.

Arrived at property for 4:00 check in with all our belongings, our pets and groceries. House had not been cleaned after last renters. Luckily VRBO canceled the reservation, gave us our refund, put us up in a hotel and found us an amazing new rental home for the week.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The property had beautiful views, both fenced and free to roam around on the falls. Every amenity in the cabin was comfortable and in good working order. The location was perfect, only about 20 minutes from downtown Hendersonville and most major attractions. We're already planning on next visit. Thank you!

My family had a great time here...me and my 7 year old played for hours in the creek on the rocks. There isn't much to do around town since there is still a lot of damage from Helene, we did go to Chimney Rock one day however it takes almost an hour because of detours. Also if your going to fish there isn't anywhere to fish again because of damage in surrounding areas. With all of that we still enjoyed much needed family time at the cabin which is wonderful the only thing I could say is maybe put a TV in the second bedroom and there was a lot of dog hair but it is dog friendly so I guess that's to be expected. Overall a great place to stay.

Beautiful place

This place was great! We stayed for 4 nights over July 4th and it did not disappoint. The running creek was awesome, the sounds of the creek are beyond amazing. Had a hiccup or so but the property manager/owner answered quickly and handed it properly, I would highly recommend, even the dogs had fun with the fenced in yard and we even had a bear come by a couple of days. I will happily book again in the future.

Long weekend getaway

We stayed for 4 nights and it was perfect. Since we were having a major heat wave it was so nice getting away and being near the creek. This was a great choice since we had our dogs. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to get away with their dogs and enjoy waterfalls from the deck.

Memories Made

This property was great! If you have a pup, definitely bring them. The home was super cute and the decorations were fun. The whole patio was enclosed, so my pup and I could sit outside and he could watch the butterflies. They even had a grass area that was fenced in to avoid having to be leashed. The sliding rocks were so fun. The trees were blooming and had the most fragrant scents and pretty flowers. Everything was easy to access and such a great way to spend the week away, making the best memories to last a lifetime.

Nice Getaway Cottege

We stayed at the property for our two nights and it was as described. Overall, this was a nice family getaway. The pictures of the exterior aren't exactly accurate post-Helene, but the creek and waterfalls are still nice. My wife and 11 year-old loved the falls, and spent a lot of time there. The firepit and hot tub were nice as well. The interior was comfortable for us, and the gas fireplace was great for the cool nights/mornings. There were some minor issues that I brought up to the property manager during our stay. The owner actually called me to discuss them, which was a nice touch. Overall excellent communication all around. The minor issues didn't impact our stay negatively. One drawback for the property is the location right next to the busy highway. Road noise is pretty bad for light sleepers, or those wanting to bike on the roads. We will definitly look here again once Chimney Rock village re-opens. Thanks!

Awesome!

This was a great place to stay. The owner, Rebecca was wonderful to work with. She communicates and responds very fast. The listing is everything and more. The pictures do not do it justice. There is plenty of room for 5 adults and a retriever. I would highly recommend this cabin and will definitely rent from Rebecca again.

what a wonderful area for an extended stay! Edneyville and all the apple orchard stores, live music at one of them, so many things to do and see in Hendersonville. this was such a restful quiet month!

Truly Get Away

If you want to truly disconnect from the world and enjoy the peace and quiet of the mountains, this adorable and comfortable home is for you. The outside firepit and waterfall are mesmerizing. Really enjoyed.

Our kids age 11 and 13 enjoyed walking in the creek and hot tub. Dogs were safe since large front porch was gated and a small gated yard for dog. Close to lake Lure and many dining options 10 minutes away. Perfect location to explore various towns around Lake Lure.

Ideal cabin escape!

Our house was being painted in the middle of this hour summer, so we needed to escape to the beatitudes NC mountains. This 2bed/2 bath cabin was perfect for our needs. Upgraded dishes, bedding, rtc. Friends came up for the weekend to play cards and and we couldn't have enjoyed ourselves more! Owner and property manager were very responsive when we had to extend our stay for a few days. Would def stay here again!

Great stay!

We enjoyed the location and outdoor area. Kitchen and outdoor space had everything you need for simple meals. Chimney Rock Park, Pointe Lookout Winery and Lure Outdoor Adventure were all hits. The couch was uncomfortable and needs to be replaced. No good eating places in Chimney Rock Village- make the drive to Hendersonville.

The cabin was once owned by an artist and used as a country store specializing in local arts and crafts. Now it is our most popular cabin rental.
