Luxury B&B in a historic village 10 km from downtown Amsterdam. Peace & comfort.

Bed in Broek is located in Broek in Waterland less than 10 kilometers from the center of Amsterdam and is very easily accessible by public transport,
The luxurious Bed and Breakfast for two persons is situated in a private cottage located in a romantic garden and consists of a living / sleeping area that is particularly stylishly furnished with a private bathroom ensuite. Hotel safe and closed covered bicycle parking.
The B & B is accessible through a private entrance.
The entire space is equipped with both underfloor heating and central heating. The patio doors and windows are equipped with insect screens.
Airconditioning.

The sleeping area with a comfortable box spring is made up with luxurious bedding (Egyptian cotton) and four seasons duvet and two pillows per person, on request the bed can be made up with two single duvets.

The living area has a bar where you can have breakfast, comfortable chairs and TV. Bicycle maps and other information sufficiently available.

The bathroom with shower and toilet has underfloor heating and has a standard;
- two towels per person

- two cotton bathrobes
- amenities by Marie-Stella Maris
- hairdryer

Kitchenette with fridge, Nespresso machine, kettle, egg cooker, toaster, plates and cutlery.

We've stayed in B & Bs all over the world, but this has to be one of the top we've ever visited. The cottage was spotless, the gardens lovely, the location ideal (quaint and peaceful yet very easy access to Amsterdam) and the hosts, Klaas and Marianna, were as good as they come - friendly, responsive, excellent communicators, and just wonderful people. Highly recommend!

We spent five months at Bed in Broek in April. Klaas was a great communicator and was attentive to our dietary needs. The studio is cozy and sits in a lovely garden. We had fresh made breakfast each day that was tasty and nutritious. Our hosts were attentive to and accommodated our special dietary needs. The bed and breakfast was more delightful and quaint than what the pictures show. The town of Broek is a clean and quiet oasis just a 15 minute drive from Amsterdam’s Centraal Station. We were able to enjoy quiet nights away from the bustle of the city. I couldn’t recommend this place more highly!

Lovely accommodations close to bus route. The village and the residents we met were welcoming. Klaas and Marianna are gracious hosts and made our arrival easy through detailed check-in steps and directions. The included breakfast set us off on the right foot as we headed into the city central area. Fully recommend.

My husband and I cannot say enough good things about our stay in this B&B in Broek in Waterland. The little cottage was very clean and well- equipped and the King-size bed was very comfortable. The breakfasts were huge and delicious. The garden and outdoor sitting area were gorgeous: beautiful spring flowers and so many birds. Our hosts, Marianne and Klaas were very warm and welcoming. They were very helpful in suggesting the best bike and transit routes to explore in Amsterdam and the countryside. Broek in Waterland is such a picturesque village with beautifully restored houses from the 17th and 18th centuries. After a day in busy, noisy Amsterdam, it was heavenly to return to the peace and serenity of this town. We hope we will return one day!

Beautiful B&B

We had the best stay at the B&B in Broek. The village was so charming, a lovely place to come and relax after a day in the city. The property was beautiful and the hosts are very hospitable, happy to help with anything we needed. We would love to come back!

This wonderful retreat is perfect for a couple get away. We loved the setting of the beautiful garden and the charming accommodations. Everything was comfortable, clean and inviting. The hosts were very welcoming, engaging, and responsive. Breakfast each morning was delicious, fresh, and served promptly. The quiet village is postcard picturesque. It was a perfect retreat and an excellent location for our visit to the Netherlands.

Wonderful and clean garden cottage in the old part of the village . Host is very detail oriented and the breakfast especially was simply amazing 5 star all the way ! 😊

Charming and Restful

Klaas and Marianne were wonderful hosts. Village was charming. Bus to Amsterdam was reliable and nearb. A great way to spend the last week of our vacation.we'll be back!

Everything was wonderful! Great shower. Very comfortable bed. The breakfast was perfect. I would love to visit again! Beautiful little village. Bus stop was a nice little walk from the property. Great access to Amsterdam. Host is very friendly and helpful. Great communication. Highly recommended.

Such a fabulous stay

The beautifully decorated cottage is small but perfect for two people. And the gardens are beautiful with a lovely seating to enjoy breakfast or a glass of wine at the end of the evening. Klaas and Marianne are the best hosts ever. So attentive to every detail from a welcome drink to an exceptional breakfast each morning. The space had every need looked after including travel books, coffee, all the kitchen needs, fully stocked bathroom. It was truly a lovely stay!

Great place

The space is comfortable. The hosts are very responsive. The garden is a relaxing place to sit. A short bus ride and train ride gets you into the central city. I definitely recommend this place for a peaceful stay.

Wonderful stay in Broek in Waterland

This bed and breakfast is exactly what my partner and I needed — it was the perfect getaway while still being conveniently close to the city. Klaas and Marianna are lovely and accommodating hosts, with easy communication. The breakfast alone is worth staying for. The property itself is in very good condition and exactly how it looks in the photos. A very good and comfortable stay, I already look forward to coming back!

I truly couldn’t dream of a better experience or stay than my husband I had at Bed in Broek in Waterland. The property is even more beautiful than it is in pictures and the short walk from the bus station to the property feels like you’re walking straight through a fairy tale. The hosts are attentive to the upmost degree and every single detail has been well thought out so as to make your stay nothing short of incredible. My husband and I regard the amazing breakfast provided by the host as some of the best food we enjoyed in the Netherlands. We also were blown away by the restaurant recommended by the host- De Drie Noten. The bed and rental unit itself were both very comfortable- a perfect size for light travelers. We slept very well, as the unit is air conditioned but also has excellent screens on the windows to allow the natural air and garden sounds/scents in. The hosts were very communicative and answered questions before they arose in our minds. We truly appreciated every moment of our stay in this magical place and were very sad to leave. If you are planning a trip to Amsterdam, staying here will surely enhance your trip. The city is a very short bus ride away from Amsterdam Centraal and the buses are both clean and prompt. I give this property my highest recommendation

Incredible hospitality

Klaas and Marianna were the most wonderful hosts, always going above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcome. Broek in Waterland is a beautiful oasis away from the busyness of Amsterdam. The little details (eg delicious breakky in the garden) made all the difference!

A Little Gem!

The village is delightful and a wonderful and peaceful antidote to the bustle of Amsterdam. The accommodation is splendid - spotless and comfortable with every little thing carefully considered and provided. Delicious breakfast and help above and beyond to ensure we could make the most of our visit.

The reviews don’t lie! 15 min away from Amsterdam Centraal by bus, this little house is an oasis of quiet green spaces with modern furnishings. The hosts are excellent communicators and lovely individuals as a whole; I enjoyed retreating to the BnB each afternoon, as well as breakfast the following morning. It was not hard to find and super clean. I look forward to a return!

Lovely Casita

We loved our stay with Klaas and Marianna - friendly, informative and so helpful. Breakfast was delivered and was delicious. Unit was spotless and had every thing we needed for the stay. The owners are so gracious but not overbearing. We plan on returning . The town itself is easy to navigate plus the bus stop into Amsterdam is just 5 mins away. If you get a chance stay !

Our eight night stay in Broek in Waterland was outstanding. Our hosts Marianna and Klaas are lovely people who provide a wonderful experience in their detached Bed and Breakfast facing a beautiful garden. The bed was extremely comfortable and the breakfast delicious and plentiful. We had coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice, eggs, croissants with butter and jam, yogurt, fruit meats and cheeses with baquettes. Such a perfect start to our day which often included a scenic ten minute walk to a 15 minute bus ride into Amsterdam. But Broek in Waterland itself was so picturesque as are the other small towns a short drive away. This was a standout visit for us and we highly recommend this B and B at Broek in Waterland. Thank you Klaas and Marianna.

Hidden gem!

The property was better than expected. Our host was so sweet and helpful. She went out of her way to make our stay very nice. The breakfast was WONDERFUL - above and beyond! 5 stars. We recommend 100%. Thank you Marianna and Klaas for a memorable stay.
