Waterfront Beach House with Gorgeous Sunsets

Beachfront 2 bedroom, 2 full bath house. Kitchen equipped with top end appliances (Viking), dishwasher, fully stocked kitchenware, everything you need to prepare a nice meal. Living room has comfortable seating, 55" Smart TV with DISH satellite and WIFI. Open floor plan - living room, dining room and kitchen - all with beautiful views of the water. Converted garage into a rec room with pool table, 75" Smart TV with sound bar, and 2 couches (sofa bed). The house sleeps 6 - 2 queen beds and 1 sofa bed.

Nice size turf yard great for outdoor entertainment and a mean game of corn hole. Large outdoor stainless steel bbq area. Covered deck with 2 lounge chairs and comfortable seating.

Private driveway and parking.

Enjoy long strolls on the beach, listen to the rolling waves and end the day with a gorgeous sunset.

There is plenty to do in the area. A short walk or bike ride down the road you can jump on a ferry and take it to Lummi Island. There you can bike ride around the island and dine at the 5 star restaurant - The Willows Inn.

Other attractions that are minutes away or a short drive are the Silver Reef Casino and Spa (5 restaurants including one of the top Steak Houses in the Northwest), Birch Bay Waterslides, golf courses (Semiahmoo Golf and Country Club and North Bellingham), walking trails, Bellingham International Airport, the Canadian border (Vancouver BC), Mount Baker (hiking, skiing), Bellingham Ferry (San Juan Islands) or Bellingham Fairhaven district with pubs, shopping and antiques.

No children under the age of 10 years. We made this difficult decision due to the wear and tear we were experiencing. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Thank you.

Location is great. Host is gracious and communicates extremely well and is very accomodating. I really appreciated her communication and attentiveness. The property is very comfortable and very well stocked for a great stay and even some entertaining. The kitchen beautiful for anyone that loves to cook. Bedrooms and bathrooms are well kept and updated. The backyard and beach access are a dream, the sunsets are storybook. You really can't go wrong staying here. You will love it.

Quiet getaway, with views as promised

The house is truly right on the beach: we opened the gate from the back yard and stepped onto the sand. We had a fire on the beach while watching the sunset one evening, and it was exactly as wonderful as that sounded. Bridget was a lovely host. She replied immediately to our handful of texts before and during the stay, and there was a treat with a hand-written card waiting in the refrigerator. We also appreciated the accurate and complete written directions for things like using the television and checking out. The kitchen was reasonably stocked with basics, including a full set of nonstick pots and pans, cooking and eating utensils, and some oil and spices. The game room was a fun diversion, and we enjoyed watching the Seahawks on the giant screen while playing pool. Bedding and beds were comfortable, too. The only complaint we would offer is that the kitchen and bathrooms were not fully cleaned. The counters had been wiped but not scrubbed clear of some stuck-on dirt, and one of the toilets was visibly soiled (omitting details for propriety). That said, there were adequate cleaning supplies, and the floors and other rooms were all clean and comfortable.

Steps from the beach

We loved staying at this VRBO right across the bay from Lummi Island and steps away from the beach. It was everything we hoped for as far as the house and the location. Shelling, birding and walking the beach was our favorite activities to make this a very relaxing place to stay. we loved playing corn hole in the back yard facing the beach. The host was very responsive with any question we had. The house was extremely clean and supplied to make your stay as stress free as possible. We would definitely stay here if we are ever in the Bellingham area again.

Fantastic Vacation

We've stayed at Waterfront Beach House over the weekend and everything was superb: communication, check-in/check-out process and stay. We enjoyed the outdoors right on the beach, talked to neighbours, played pool and simply just relaxed in this very quiet settings. If the time permits, we'll ask our hosts to do it again. Charles

Beautiful place

Visited for a long week over the summer. The views of the water and Lummi island are wonderful. The place is very well equipped with a great kitchen and backyard.

Super nice home and exactly as shown and described. The host was great to communicate with and left a nice welcome gift for us. Decorated very beachy and it was just perfect! Beds were comfy, kitchen was amazing (the appliances were all Viking!) The view is great and so many birds to watch in the mornings when the tide is out. Your view is looking at Lummi Island. We had a fabulous time and will be back! Thanks so much Bridget:)

On the Water

We had a wonderful time. It was quiet and right on the water. Such a great place to relax but close to downtown Bellingham. There was a nice gift and note for us upon arrival too.

Wonderful stay

This property was the perfect home base for a visit to the Lummi Nation. Great location, comfortable accommodations, and fantastic views of the Salish Sea. I hope to stay here again in the future.

Great house on the water

The house was beautiful and just what we needed for a relaxing getaway. The pool table and the Cornhole kept the teens entertained. The huge kitchen made cooking dinner a snap. We’d definitely stay here again!

Bliss on the Beach

The property was absolutely perfect! Great location, amazing sunsets, VERY cozy home. Bridget is a great owner -- responding quickly to any text. We had zero problems there. The bed is comfortable, shower pressure great, furniture new or in great condition, pool table awesome. Significantly, the property's kitchen was equipped better than any I have previously rented. I hope to establish a long-term relationship with this property!

Perfect Stay

We had great weather which allowed us time to be outside enjoying the views, beach, and sunsets. When indoors we enjoyed the fabulous kitchen and playing pool in the rear of the house. Very quiet location, would recommend this home for a nice getaway.

Peace and relaxation

It has been one of the rental i stayed. It has everything to offer beach, sunsets, hikes, fun time, pool table, big kitchen, comfortable beds, close to casino, you name it. I recommend this rental any day any time. For short or long term. The hosts are easy to communicate and there for you. Thank you again for letting me stay there and my family. Seen herons, sea pups, whales, eagles. I also recommend taking a ferry from bellingham terminal this rental unit is close to it. So if you need to get away and have fun check this rental out

Fabulous view

Amenities were as listed. Kitchen appliances top-notch (with a funky microwave, but warning and good instructions from the owner). Hard to get motivated to do anything other than sit and breathe, it was so quiet and relaxing. Highly recommend!

Happy to be home

The coastline on Lummi Bay is very special to us. To be able to reconnect with our home and stay right on the beach, gathering clams and crab, and paddling on the ocean, means so much to us. Hyshqe for your hospitality.

Relaxing getaway

Very clean property with plenty of entertainment. It is a little bit of a drive outside of Bellingham, very close to the Lummi ferry. There is a full kitchen and grill so no reason to leave. The sunsets are amazing !

We were born and raised down the road in the gorgeous Skagit Valley. We love living in the Pacific Northwest where there is so much to do and the area is so beautiful. We feel we have everything right out our front door, hiking, biking, skiing, watersports, crabbing, fishing, camping, golf on and on. The only thing we would change is a little less rain at times and a little more heat but the rain is what makes this area so green and amazing.

We have tried to make our home comfortable and inviting. Our hope is you have a wonderful stay and have a chance to relax, reconnect and recharge.
