Sunflower 3: on the 1st floor -50 m2. A terrace with table to eat "al fresco" with a beautiful view. Suitable and romantic for two. A large dining room with table, fireplace, sofa, bookcase. Fully equipped kitchen, The walls are decorated with painting called tromp l'oeil by the artist Gloria Forti. Big bedroom with double bed (or two singles) tulle mosquito net above the bed and at the window, wardrobe, desk. Bathroom with shower and decorated walls. sink, bidet. Small closet in the lounge. Entry in the private garden, a big barbecue in the garden area to share with other guests. Swimmingpool with hydromassage corner is at few meters in garden area.

A magical stay!

Stelio and Rossella were excellent hosts, Lia (the dog) also made us feel very welcome. The flat is beautiful and well appointed and the balcony is perfect for a slow breakfast, glass of wine in the evening, or a home cooked dinner. The views are breathtaking. Lounging by the pool is a lovely way to spend the day, or walking in the grounds, or heading into town. We had a fantastic stay and were sorry to leave!

Ideal location for visiting beautiful Tuscany

We can't say how much we loved our stay here. From the moment we arrived and received a warm welcome from our hostess we were shown our delightful and spacious rooms. The balcony was very large, with an area covered in the event of a shower. The views were, frankly, unparalleled, spectacular and every direction gave us a stunning outlook of beautiful Tuscany. The grounds provided scents from herbs, fruit trees, rose bushes and flower gardens. We used the pool almost every day of our stay and we walked the paths around the property. The location can't be better if you want a central point for day trips around the small ancient towns and the notable cities known for wine, food, art and history. We cannot remember a more wonderful place to stay. We highly recommend this place for couples, families or anyone coming to the area.

Un sogno toscano Wir haben eine wunderschöne, ruhige & entspannende Woche genießen können. Herzlich empfangen von Rossella, Stelio und der süßen Lia fühlten wir uns sofort sehr wohl. Die Wohnung ist liebevoll gestaltet und bestens mit allem, was man braucht, ausgestattet. Die Aussicht vom Balkon ist wunderschön. Am Pool waren wir meistens alleine und das gesamte Gelände ist wirklich sehr schön … Bilderbuchtoskana, Wohlfühlort! Sehr gerne werden wir wieder kommen Herzlichen Dank!

Stelio og Rosella er nogle fantastiske værter, som gør en stor indsats for at man skal føle sig godt tilpas - vi fik bl.a. hjemmebagte kager af dem og blev inviteret på kaffe i deres private have. Boligen ligger perfekt til udforskning af området omkring San Gimignano, men ejendommen er også stor nok til at man kan få en del tid til at gå med at udforske den. Ejendommen er meget naturskøn og fredelig og desuden præget at Stelios små finurlige udstillinger og sjove genstande.Selve boligen fremstår ren og velholdt - møblerne er dog ikke særlig komfortable, bortset fra den virkelig gode seng. Køkkenet indeholder de nødvendige ting til lettere madlavning, og Wi-Fien fungerer fint. Et stort plus for boligen er den store balkon med fantastisk udsigt (og mange myg om aftenen) og det smukke pool-område. Poolen er ren og af en god størrelse. Alt i alt er Macinella "Sunflower 3" et virkelig dejligt sted at holde en afslappende ferie i smukke omgivelser og med nogle søde værter, som gerne hjælper med råd og vejledning.

Tolle Aussicht

Ausblick, Lage und Pool waren super. Die Dusche sieht auf den Fotos sehr modern aus, aber funktioniert nur die Handbrause, der Rest ist total verkalkt. Das Sofa ist so durchgesessen das man sich nicht darauf setzen kann. Den Herd durfte man nicht benutzen wegen Stromschwank6ng. Porzellan war nno h dreckig. Wir hatten uns mehr davon verspro hen, aber imsgesamt war es noch befiedigend.

Sunflower 3

Der Urlaub im Sunflower 3 hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir wurden freundlich von Rossella empfangen. Die Wohnung ist im ersten OG. Die Einrichtung der Wohnung ist schlicht und rustikal gehalten. Die Küchenausstattung ist überschaubar. Das Badezimmer hat alles was man braucht. Die Dusche ist sehr kompakt. Das Schlafzimmer ist geräumig und bietet genug Luft zum Atmen. Herrlich ist der wunderbare Balkon mit der teilweisen Überdachung, die vor Sonne oder auch Regen, schützt. Die Aussicht auf das ganze Anwesen, die umliegende Landschaft und San Gimignano ist wunderschön. Das Anwesen selbst ist groß genug um ausgedehnte Spaziergänge in den Wald oder den kleinen See machen zu können. Der Pool war sehr sauber und angenehm groß um ordentlich darin schwimmen zu können. Eine Waschmaschine ist vorhanden. Eine Herausforderung waren die Mücken. Teilweise sind in der Wohnung Mückengitter verbaut, leider nicht bei allen Fenstern. Im Schlafzimmer gibt es ein Mückennetz über dem Bett. Empfehlenswert ist es, einen elektrischen Mückenschutz zu verwenden. Wer seinen Urlaub abseits vom Trubel an einem ruhigen Ort, in Mitten der Natur und in einer liebevoll gestalteten Umgebung genießen möchte, der ist hier auf Casa Macinella genau richtig.

10 jours au coeur de la Toscane

Nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement. Appartement agréable avec une très belle vue sur la campagne toscane dans une belle propriété très bien située entre Florence Sienne et Pise,au calme dans les collines .Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la terrasse. A deux c'était parfait . Merci à Rosalla et Stelio pour leur accueil

Toscana von der schönsten Seite

Der Aufenthalt in Casaglia, Macinella Sunflower 3 war sehr schön. Wir kamen, bedingt durch einen späten Flug, nachts um 0.30 an, und der Besitzer stand vor seinem Anwesen, um uns zu begrüßen und die Wohnung zu zeigen. Die Wohnung liegt im 1. Stock, was für Gehbehinderte etwas schwierig ist. Aber dafür ist der Blick in die Toscana vom großen Balkon jeden Tag jede Mühe wert. Der Swimming Pool ist groß und sauber. Jede Wohnung hat ihren eigenen Platz mit Liegen und Sonnenschirm um den Pool herum. Der Besitzer des Anwesens, Stelio, wohnt auf dem Grundstück - meistens bei der Arbeit - und hilft bei allen Fragen, die im Urlaub in der Fremde auftauchen. Er hat uns seine "Schätze" auf dem Grundstück in einer langen, hochinterressanten Führung gezeigt. Zum einen ein alter etruskischer Turm (wie die Türme in San Gimignano), den er eigenhändig in jahrelanger, bewunderungswürdiger Arbeit renoviert hat. Einen weiteren Turm, den er eigenhändig gebaut hat, und ein kleines Amphitheater, das nach den Maßen des Epidaurus Theaters in Griechenland gebaut ist. Eine ausführliche Beschreibung der Route Pisa - Casaglia, und der Lage der Supermärkte und Restaurants in Poggibonsi bekommt vor Abflug in D zugeschickt. Hierfür ist Gloria zuständig, die jede mail mit Fragen zum Objekt postwendend beantwortet. Für die großartige Betreuung einen herzlichen Dank an Stelio , Gloria und Rossella. Erich und Magdalena

Charming and relaxing

If a charming, rustic and relaxing experience is what you are looking for this is the place. Spacious and comfortable indoors and with a great terrace to enjoy the views and outdoors. The owner was wonderful and offered options and ideas for us.

Sehr schöne Anlage aber braucht viel mehr Pflege

Wir sind etwas gespalten, was Macinella angeht. Die Anlage ist wunderschön , Stelio, Rosella und Claudia waren sehr nett und freundlich. Der Pool war sehr sauber und groß. Und jetzt kommen die Abers; Wir waren in Sunflower 3. Die Einrichtung des Hauses war runtergekommen und braucht dringend Erneuerung. Fast alle Strohstühle um den Esstisch waren kaputt. Mit den katastrophalen Zahl der Mücken in Toskana, feste Fliegengitter am Fenster ist das wenigste was man machen kann. aber die fehlten. Stattdessen gibt's unfeste Schutz aus Stoff, was gar nicht nützen. Klimaanlage würde auch nutzen, aber leider fehlt. Wir haben zu zweit innerhalb von 2 Wochen 3 Packungen Fenistilgel gebraucht trotz unserer enormen Mückenschutz Maßnahmen. Die Küchenutensilien, auch die Espressomachine und die einzige Pfanne waren so verbrannt und alt, man konnte die gar nicht benutzen. Aber Stelio und Rosella haben die sehr freundlich und schnell ersetzt.

Fabulous

This is a must visit address if you are looking for a peaceful escape in the Tuscan hills. The owners are most kind and are willing to help and assist in every way they can. The swimming pool is well taken care of and so is the rest of the compound. We resided in sunflower 2 and it had a great view all day round. Furthermore this compound is ideally situated for day trips to Siena, Florence and other cities or towns like San Gimignano.

Lovely little Tuscan countryside haven

If you want to be in the middle of nowhere with beautiful views and just the sound of the cicadas and birds then this is a tranquil haven. The pool was lovely and very welcome in the 35 degree heat, often we had it to ourselves. The property was nice, old Tuscan style. We had a few minor issues with the apartment but they didn’t detract too much from our enjoyment, except maybe the mosquitoes sneaking in through holes in some of the window nets. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable holiday within a reasonable distance to Florence, Pisa and Siena. Large supermarkets in Poggibonsi nearby and picturesque San Gimignano only around a 20 minute drive away.

Thank you for your feedback! Our activity is not a job but our goal is to achieve the well-being of our guest. Regarding 35 degree heat unfortunately it is a common problem but in the evening with the windows side by side, a dive in the pool and a dinner in the private garden everything can become pleasant! Wonderful place in Tuscany

If you are looking for a quiet and pitoresk Place in Tucany, this is the Place! The location is surrounded by vineyards and olivetrees. San Gimingano is just 10-15 min away with car. Siena and Florence is about 1 hour away. We recomend you to take the train from Poggibonsi station (it can be a struggle to find parkingplace espesially in the summer). You also arriwe in the centre of the citys by Train. The house provide a lovely pool where you can relax with a book or just relax in the sun. The appartement is simply furnished, but with a charming expression. We (2 adults and 1 youth at the age of 14 from Norway) had a lovely week here. The owner is very helpful, and provides good tip to places to see in the Tuscany, or to winemakers in the area. Recomend this Place for people who want to spend some days in the middle of wonderful Tuscany.
