You are going to LOVE staying here while you are in the Clemson/Seneca area. Nice home on deep water located in quiet, secluded area very close (3 miles) to where the Tigers play! Double slip dock just steps away from the back door can accommodate your boat and serve as a fun space to enjoy the lake. Great for 2 families or 4 couples with 4 bedrooms (each with it's own bath).

This lake house is beautiful! Itā€™s an easy walk down to the dock and thereā€™s space for a boat if you bring or rent one. Thereā€™s also a ton of paddle equipment like kayaks canoes and paddle boards to enjoy on the lake. The house is very clean and equipped with plenty of cooking tools and coffee maker. Donna is also great and very easy to communicate with! Canā€™t wait to do this again!

Fantastic Lake Weekend

I've stayed in a lot of rentals in a lot of different places, but this home is the best appointed property I ever rented. Every need was covered, from quality kitchenware, to linens, and to water and yard toys and games. The location is extremely good. It's on a good stretch of Lake Hartwell with convenient access to Clemson and Seneca. The house and property were very clean and comfortable. We will definitely try to rebook the next time we visit our kids at Clemson.

Exceeded my expectations

The house, dock, and location exceeded my expectations. The kitchen and living room was bigger than expected. The beds were very comfortable. The dock was a great size. We spent multiple afternoon sitting on the dock. I highly recommend this house.

Ideal Family Fun on Lake Hartwell

Wonderful home and awesome location. Lake was placid with beautiful sunrise and sunsets! Had such a fun time kayaking, canoing and paddleboarding, even the dog joined in! Would love to come again sometime. Thanks for the memories!!

Perfect house distribution

We spent last weekend with family and friends at Donnaā€™s house and it was amazing!! Plenty of space for all 8 of us. I canā€™t emphasize more the fact that each room has its own bathroom and the distribution of the rooms in the house is perfect. Cozy and roomy. The pics do not make justice to the house!!! So much space! The dock is super close to the house and no steep walk. There are so many board games, foosball, cricket, table tennis, pool table and more!! Also paddle boards, kayak and canoe! Super well equipped (air pumps for floaties, extra linen, tons of kitchen supplies). We had the best time. Thank you Donna for everything, it was a beautiful break!! I learned to paddle board on the orange board!!! šŸ˜ƒ

Peaceful lake retreat

Overall a very pleasant stay. This property is well-maintained and the perfect size for our family. Some enjoyed fishing and others, swimming and kayaking (not at the same time!)

Visiting Son At Clemson

We booked this property to visit my son at Clemson University for the weekend. We were able to bring our boat and use the covered boat slip. Unfortunately the weather didnā€™t completely cooperate with the high winds at first, but the weather turned nice by Saturday. We liked the abundance of bathrooms and the location on the lake. We hope to return for a longer visit in the future and enjoy more that the lake has to offer. Communication with the owners was always quick and the house was perfect for our needs. Very nice stay

We visited for a long weekend to visit our daughter studying at nearby Clemson University. Communication with property owner was great before and throughout our stay. Property was very clean and nicely appointed with anything you might need. We would definitely visit again. Our only complaint was it was too cold to enjoy the beautiful lakeside aspect of the property with all of the toys ā˜ŗļø. We would definitely recommend and we are hoping to return again.

Wonderful Time

This is not our first time at this property. We like the property so much that we have spent five weeks there in five years. The house is very spacious and with the property on the lake, it is very peaceful and relaxing. I hope we will be able to stay at the property in the future.

Great house!

With 4 ensuites and lots of "toys" this is a great house. Owners are very responsive and generous. We have rented numerous times. We miss the extra sleeping futons in the loft

Perfect House for family gathering

It was wonderful to have four bedrooms all with their own private bath. The walk to the lake was easy for the old and young and the lake was wonderful for all ages to enjoy. Next time we will rent a boat but the owner had paddle boards and other water toys to enjoy. We were glad that we brought our water floats. The owner provided a well appointed kitchen and we had all we needed to prepare our meals. The house was perfect for our family gathering and we hope to return again next year.

John and Donna Woodruff both grew up In Clemson and Seneca, graduated from Clemson in 1981 and raised 3 amazing kids right here in Seneca. In 2000, we thought we wanted a house at the beach, but it just never felt right. We sold it in May of 2016 and started looking for something on the lake. When we found Sweet Pea, we knew we had found what we really wanted all along! We hope you enjoy it here as much as we do.
