This charming Mountain home is located in a Gated Golf Community in Western N,C. near Cold Mountain, Blue Ridge Mountain Parkway and Pisgah National Forest. Great getaway location for hiking,biking,stream fishing, waterfalls, sliding rock,tubing, white-water rafting,skiing - you name it- we got it, Oh and did I mention on the golf course !!!! JUST OUR LITTLE PART OF HEAVEN ON EARTH !! Mountain and golf course views from 4 porches.
4 BR/ 4 Bath and a den , 2 great rooms, 3 Fireplaces. Conveniently located 10 miles from Downtown Waynesville and 20 miles from Asheville, NC.
Bedroom bath Layout
- Master bedroom main floor,King bed and fireplace, master bathroom has shower with separate soaking tub two vanities.
- 2nd master downstairs queen bed with private bath. bathroom has tub shower with dual sinks.
- Guest bedroom downstairs has queen bed.
- Guest bedroom downstairs has 2 twin beds. These two bedrooms share a bath with shower.
- There is a den on the main floor with a queen size bed. This has a bathroom right outside the door with a shower.
Home also has a laundry room with washer/dryer.

Mountain Getaway

The house was perfect for our group. The bedroom/bath room arrangement was ideal and and handled the 12 of us with no problem. Great view of the mountains and golf course. The house was well equipped for a large group except for glassware. I would recommend this property for a peaceful get away.

Beautiful setting with great views. Felt safe

Home has great potential, but very dated. Was not clean, which was disappointing. TV was difficult to use. I would like more specific check out directions, to assure we were doing what was expected. The trash cans on the garage were small, so difficult to get trash in.

Great family getaway

We had a great experience. The views were wonderful. Our favorite spot was the porch off the kitchen. We congregated there every chance we could. Loved it! Older, well loved property that met our needs wonderfully.

Good for large groups

Beautiful home in an upscale golf community with spectacular views. Everything was clean with ample space and privacy for extended family of 7 adults and 1 child. The fireplace in the main living room did not have the pilot lit so we did not try the others. Central heat worked well. Overall we were very pleased with the home and would recommend it to anyone needing a spacious residence that can easily sleep 10 adults.

Great Large House!

This is the 3rd year that we have stayed in this house. Lots of room and great views.

Not very clean and very out dated

No addres labeled on house or mailbox,leaves were piled so high at front stoop tripped over step,unloading luggage in the garage with roof leaking badly right at entrance to house,several mouse traps set throughout with decaying mice stuck to them,garbage piled up in garage (6 bags) from last renter,wasn’t fond of the black envelope noted to leave cash for cleaning services upon leaving.I believe a different cleaning crew is needed and adding that fee to the VRBO rental contract.

Clean and spacious

On the positive side, the place was spatial, very clean and ready for occupancy. There were plenty of towels and the beds were comfortable. The location is quiet with a beautiful view of the mountains around Canton. A complaint was that late night access to the gated community was confusing. The sinks in the master bath downstairs were severely clogged, and the lighting/fan controls were confusing at best. I recommend staying here.

Great get away spot with an amazing view.

I reserved this house for a work related trip because of its size. It did not disappoint us at all. Large house with amazing views. Spent mornings and evenings out on the back deck. Work trip ended early and my family drove over to join me for the remaining time we had the house reserved. Such a great getaway for the family as well. Close to the Blue Ridge Parkway and many hiking trails. Highly recommended.

Beautiful and comfortable!

We really enjoyed our stay! Many hours spent on the deck enjoying the fresh air and scenery and, of course, the wild turkey family. As others have noted, the lower floor isn't updated in full and our son with a sensitive nose was bothered by the smell there. As for the rest of us, though, we'd return in a heartbeat!

Our family really enjoyed our time in this mountain house. Our favorite part was the view!

We spent a lot of time on the deck off the kitchen and in the living room. We enjoyed watching the golfers and the wildlife. We actually saw a family of turkeys almost every day!! The master bedroom and bath were great! And the area is just beautiful!! Some things do need improvements though... The other bedroom on the main floor could use a new mattress, but Overall it’s a great place - the lighting also seems to need a little work. It’s just an older place but very very nice. We couldn’t use the grill because it was so dirty. It was also the first time I’ve had to leave a cleaning fee - wish it had been included in the price.

Great place with plenty of room.

Great place. Clean house. Plenty of room for our eight people. 45 minutes from Asheville in a golf community. Stayed four days between Christmas and New Years. A great fall location with a terrific view of the mountains.

We spent Thanksgiving here!!!

The home was beautiful with a gorgeous view! Plenty of room for the 9 of us! We will be back! We liked Waynesville, but not Canton! Pulp plant was stinky!
