Sought after ground floor end unit at Turtle Dunes in the Omni Amelia Island Plantation. It has beautiful views and is perfect for your vacation. This unit has three bedrooms and three baths all ensuite and all on one floor. Completely renovated and beautifully furnished.

With this rental guests enjoy access to the Dunes Club pool, Dunes Club tennis courts, beach, walking and biking trails, spa, shops, and many great dining options. Golf is available at many great courses in the area. Bike and golf cart rentals also available .

Very nice resort! Everything we wanted.

Only one negative--the exit gate was closed on our end of the property for repair. Long way out. Not a big deal. We actually enjoyed the walkout first floor location; it was easy for the 2 year old's to go out and play in a safe environment.

Perfect Location!

This unit was a great rental with all the furnishings needed! The Omni Plantation is a beautiful location. This unit was especially convenient being on the ground floor, close to the pool and on the end. Turtle Dunes is right on the beach, which was not only easily accessible, but allowed us to see beautiful sunrises right from the patio! We had a wonderful stay and would love to come back!

Very nice (but needs decor updating)

Obviously very nice finishes originally but much in need of decor updating. Mattresses may be a challenge for back issue sufferers. Nicely stocked kitchen as long as you don’t plan on much cooking. Wonderful layout and location. Master bath shower is amazing!!

Major repair issues and cleanliness issues

we had amazing weather and the location of the condo. was excellent. The pool location was great. The expansive beach was AMAZING. when we arrived there was a really disgusting dark streak on the bed spread in the king room. I set this out on the couch when we left w/a note ... "either remove this from the unit , clean it or replace this. Do not leave this for the next renters." The 1 sliding door in the king bedroom and the double sliders in the living room were permanently secured with notes "DOOR DOES NOT OPEN" . i question that this might be a fire hazard especially in the king bedroom. There were NO screens even on the one sliding door that opened on the patio. The deterioration in the door frames where the sliders were are for sure is long term damage with rust and peeling. The wood blinds in most of the rooms were very dusty. there was an ant problem in the bathroom connected to the queen room. Since my other family members were in unit 1855 I was able to see the difference between a well maintained unit vs the unit we were in. in our unit , there were barely enough coffee cups for 5-6 people , all mismatched , the supply of eating utensils was good but very limited cooking utensils. No wine opener so we had to go back to the store to get one. the king-bedded bathroom wreaked of bleach . Since the slider in that bedroom did not open it took 2 days before that odor subsided. refrigerator was spotless. kitchen was clean . there should be a security lock of some sort on the front door that can be secured from the inside.

Morning peace at the beach

The grounds of the Omni Plantation are lush and peaceful. We appreciated easy access to trails and the A1A. The condo is spacious for six people. Coffee on the patio is the best way to start a day.

Amelia Plantation

Everything about this property was great ... with one exception - there were no basic food provisions / staples like every other VRBO property in which I’ve stayed. It’s not so much a criticism as it is a heads-up so that you know to bring your own basics like oil, butter, condiments, spices, coffee, etc, etc (we even had to buy a pitcher to make ice tea).

Family Time

This is our second time starting at this property. It has everything you need to stay socially distant. We were able to cook all our meals and spend time together as a family.

Beautiful solitude

Large nicely appointed 3Bd/3Ba condo right on the beach. Very well maintained and in a quiet part of the property. The management company was top notch and satisfied all of our requests. It was just perfect for our 3 couples and highly recommend it. We will be back!!

Steps from the beach!

What a great unit, spacious, comfortable and well appointed with all the amenities you need. I read a previous review and was worried but what they said was blown way out of proportion. All beach rentals have things you can pick apart but I found that this unit was clean, well maintained and supplied. And you can't beat the access to the beach. We love the plantation and have stayed at many units, this is one of the nicest. Look at the photos they are accurate, I will definitely rent again in the future.

Old, sad dated

This unit hasn't been updated since it was built in 1983. We had to have a plumber and a handyman and there were still issues when we left. Low wattage light bulbs, peeling wall paper, soiled bed coverlet, it was awful.

Rita, We are sorry you felt this way about this unit as we NEVER get complaints on this condo. We received a call from you about 2 plumbing issues and we immediately had a handyman to the unit. One of the issues turned out that there was absolutely nothing wrong. The other was fixed right away. This condo stays well booked and is loved by many of our guests that return year after year. We pride ourselves on outstanding customer service and felt like we gave that to you. We hope your review doesn't discourage guests from booking this lovely condo as there is no peeling wall paper or soiled linens whatsoever. Respectfully, Amelia Island Rentals

First floor corner unit gave us a great backyard feel along with spacious accommodations. Loved it.

Have spent time camping on Little Talbot island and traveling to Fernandina Beach always passing the Omni Resort, I patiently anticipated a visit to this resort. I was thrilled this wkend to finally stay on their grounds and play on their greens (played 2 rounds at Oak Marsh). It was momentous.

Spacious, clean and great for kids

This condo was great- we had two families totaling 4 adults, 2 toddlers and 2 babies and had plenty of space. We only lacked trash bags and some kitchen basics like salt and pepper but otherwise had everything we needed. It was quite windy throughout our stay- I'm not sure if the is typical of that location or just the weather that week. When it rained, water came in through the master bedroom sliding door and was reported to maintenance. Overall it was a great place to stay if you are looking for space! Being on the ground floor was great for the kids to run outside!
