THE PERFECT HOUSE FOR CASUAL ENTERTAINING!

Set on 25 acres, this Richard Rowe designed house is within easy walking distance of the pretty village of Bundanoon, with its chic cafes, book and antique shops, and the renowned Morton National Park.

The home's north facing living and dining room features a huge open log fireplace and french doors leading out onto a beautiful entertaining area with a rural outlook.

A large open plan designer country kitchen (with microwave, dishwasher, and sunny breakfast nook), complete the living areas of the home which is centrally heated throughout.

The 5 bedrooms (consisting of four king size beds, and a loft with one queen size bed and two single size beds), can sleep up to 12 people in total.

In addition to the bedrooms are 2 bathrooms (both with under floor heating) and a fully equipped laundry with washing machine and dryer.

Beautiful place

Gorgeous house and property - fabulous place to stay with tHe family. Some equipment didn’t work or wasn’t easy to figure out (TV, DVD) and some clearer instructions would have been good.

Green Meadow Farm; a stunning country house

My extended family enjoyed a most enjoyable and relaxing few days in this comfortable and very well appointed house. Even in the depth of winter the north-facing living area windows concentrated all available sunshine. Central heating throughout was supplemented by the solid fuel heater which added a cosy warmth especially in the evenings. It was a pleasure to prepare meals in the galley kitchen. The large circular dining table was ideal for accommodating a large group at meal times. The bedrooms were spacious and electric blankets ensured a comfortable sleep, The grandsons enjoyed sleeping in the loft bedroom upstairs. The bathrooms exuded old world charm with the comfort of under-floor heating. My 10 year-old grandson was pleased to be able to translate from the French to identify the hot and cold taps. The children enjoyed exploring the grounds, watching the kangaroos and young cattle in the fields. They went on a quest to find the wombat who left signs of its nocturnal activity every morning, finally seeing one out and about in the mid-morning just as we were about to depart.

Great weekend away

My family and I had a wonderful weekend at this beautiful property, was very well equipped and Sara the property manager was only a phone call away if we needed anything. If you're looking for a nice big house for a get together in Bundanoon, this is your place!

Great family holiday

This is a wonderful, rustic house. The main living room and kitchen lends itself well to great family gatherings. We loved this communal space and the wonderful fireplace The outlook onto lush paddocks is lovely. Our dogs had the time of their lives! Close to bundanoon but also very secluded and private. We had adults, kids, babies and dogs at the house and it worked well. Our 7 year olds loved the loft room. We’d come again.

Misty Cosy Stay

Green Meadow Farm is the perfect place to gather good friends, eat well and cozy up for fireside conversations. It is a beautiful, classically stylish home with a fully functioning and well kitted kitchen. The bedrooms are all large and comfortable. You are on the edge of Bundanoon but feel as though you are tucked away in fairly remote countryside. I'd love to stay again.

Gorgeous Green Meadow Farm

What a lovely longweekend! The property is beautiful, spacious and a perfect walking distance from Bundanoon for coffee and bakery treats. The property was toasty warm when we arrived, and an absolute pleasure to be in for a longweekend with family and friends. The kitchen is the best equipped of any property I have stayed in previously - although the frying pan was a little small for pancakes x 12 servings. The hot water was plentiful, the beds comfortable and the locations tranquil. Would love to stay again.

Pa’s 60th family getaway

Fantastic 3 days at this lovely spacious home The children enjoyed exploring the property & finding wombat holes . Sitting outdoors under the wisteria was very relaxing . Bundanoon village is very close. we went to the Sunday markets which was was interesting & the people were extremely friendly . Would highly recommend & would definitely stay again

Beautiful Southern Highlands!

Thank you for having us this weekend! The property is absolutely amazing. So picturesque, so homely and cozy. The kitchen was a highlight for us. We are 3 Italian families- loved cooking up a storm in there, and the view of the flowering magnolia... unspeakable, we were very content. The kids loved running around on the green rolling hills- they unfortunately didn’t spot any wombats even though there was lots of evidence that they were there. We felt very at home and it’s a shame we couldn’t spend more time there.

Charming farmhouse in Bundanoon

Green Meadow Farm was a great place for a long weekend away! The house was warm and cosy despite the large size, and would sleep many more than were in our party. It felt like we were right out in the country, but was only 2hrs from Sydney. The kitchen was very well equipped for cooks. Our kids and dog enjoyed roaming the paddocks searching for wombats. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Excellent place to stay at Bundanoon!

We spent our long weekend at this place and thought it was really good! The location was great with access to a lot of hikes and local shops. The house itself was very spacious and we enjoyed the way it was put together. It was very well thought out and felt very home-y. Highly recommended place for a quick getaway around Bundanoon!

Wonderful property

We had a wonderful long weekend with 7 children and 6 adults, the house was perfect for such a large group. The children spent most of the weekend exploring the property, building campsites and roaming the paddocks. The beautiful main living/dining room was relaxing and a wonderful space to spread out and mooch by the divine fire. Thanks to Anthony for the tip on the bathroom underfloor heating, much appreciated. Definitely want to return and do it all again. Thank you for having us.

Spacious, comfortable, just perfect.

Even in the rain with numerous children and dogs this house was perfect. It was so comfortable, thought about and beautifully detailed. We almost felt as though we were in the south of France. For a family that cooks a lot the kitchen was perfectly appointed. Sara was great to deal with and the walks in the paddocks were just what we needed with some 'city' kids. This house just felt like a second home. So glad we found it.

Loved Green Meadow Farm - great place for families

We had such a lovely long weekend and Green Meadow Farm. The kids and adults LOVED it and we can't wait to have another occasion to stay there. There was plenty of room for 2 families plus the grandparents and everyone had a great time. Thanks again.

Perfect Property

It was our second big family stay at Green Meadow, its a great location and a large comfortable property, enough room for everyone. Surrounding gardens and paddocks supply a beautiful view and lots of areas for the kids to play. Looking forwards to a return journey.

Perfect country stay

We rented this property for 3 nights over the October long weekend & what a fabulous time we had. Our group consisted of 4 adult couples & 5 children & we found this home to be the perfect set up. A huge living area with lots of comfy lounges to sprawl on & plenty of seating options for meals. The big bedrooms are set in a seperate wing with 2 bathrooms so an afternoon nap was an easy escape & the kids were all together in a loft room which they thought was fantastic fun. Our group consisted of a bunch of foodies & some big dinners were planned so a well equipped kitchen with all the appliances, platters, boards, glasses etc was essential & we were not disappointed. Each morning we embarked on the easy 20 minute stroll to the town of Bundanoon for scones, then our cocktails on the lawn in the afternoon with the cattle & wombat wandering around on the other side of the fence was a delight. The home was a great setup & managed to offer everything needed for a weekend away whilst still managing to seem homely & intimate. We definitely intend to return.

Magical Property

Green Meadow Farm was a great escape not far from Sydney in the most stunning of settings. This homestead had such a lovely relaxed warm feel to it and so picturesque under the canopy of wisteria at morning breakfast. A very versatile well thought out place for all year round weather, it had everything one would need for a large group of friends. Really large fully equipped open kitchen, large beautiful dining tables and we loved gathering around the fire in the living room at night hilariously debating with old friends. We absolutely loved that the large bedrooms were in a separate wing, for anyone who needed to get away for some quiet time. Everyone couldn't get enough of the bathrooms underfloor heating and the living room panoramic window seat area with a book. We found the location ideal to get to all the great mountain bike tracks in the area like Morton National park, Kangaroo Valley and Wingello State forest. Moss Vale and Bowral are an easy driving distance but you won't want to really leave the house and garden. For a coffee & paper it was an easy cycle to the lovely village of Bundanoon. Highly recommend an escape to Green Meadow farm and we thank our lovely hosts for opening up their homestead to us.

Lovely family weekend

Well, equipped, plenty of room for twelve of us (including two singles!). Large rooms and entertainment areas, well-equipped kitchen, good quality linen. Highly recommended.
