Imagine waking up in the morning to the sound of singing birds.

Looking out your bedroom window, through the trees you can see the sun glinting on a calm ocean, lapping at a white sandy beach that lies just 50 steps from the back of the house. You can smell the fresh sea air, and perhaps hear the gentle lapping of waves. You look down and see the secluded path from your backyard leading to the beach just 50 paces away, beckoning; and the frantic pace of your normally hectic and busy life seems like a million miles away. Welcome to BEACHFRONT REST!


ACCOMMODATION

Beachfront Rest is a fully furnished and equipped holiday home situated on ABSOLUTE BEACHFRONT at the beautiful seaside village of Toogoom, Queensland, Australia.

The house can sleep up to 10 people. The home has 5 bedrooms. The master bedroom is upstairs and has a queensize bed and walk-in robe, with its own entrance to the upstairs bathroom. There are 3 other bedrooms located upstairs, each with 2 single beds.

There is an upstairs bathroom and separate toilet. There is a 5th bedroom downstairs with a queensize bed and wardrobe. Also located downstairs is a second bathroom with toilet. The house has a laundry with washing machine and dryer. All bedrooms have ceiling fans and air conditioning and all windows are fully screened.

The lower level comprises a spacious lounge room, beach-facing sunroom, an office area, a gamesroom area (with table-tennis table), and a fully equipped kitchen with gas stove, wall oven, microwave, 2 refrigerators, dishwasher and full set of crockery, cutlery, cookware, pots and pans, serving dishes etc. For your morning coffee there is an Espressatoria pod machine and a dripolator and coffee pods, tea and herbal tea.

The lounge room boasts a 42 inch flatscreen HD TV and soundbar with sub woofer, Blueray/DVD/CD, with 2 comfortable lounges. The dining room has a large dining table that seats 8. This flows to the sunroom which has a lounge facing the trees and beach and four tub chairs with table setting. The backyard is equipped with a gas BBQ and a large outdoor setting (seats 8), just perfect for outdoor dining. There is reverse cycle air conditioning in the dining and sunroom areas and all bedrooms.

All bed linen and towels are supplied.


LOCATION

Beachfront Rest is located just 20 minutes north of Hervey Bay, in the quaint seaside village of Toogoom. It is ideally located just opposite the World Heritage listed K’gari (Fraser Island), the world's largest sand island, and is surrounded by many tourist and adventure attractions just waiting to be enjoyed!

Beachfront Rest is extremely easy to get to. It is about 3.5 hrs drive north of Brisbane by car along the Bruce Highway. You can also get there by flying direct to Hervey Bay.

Toogoom is blessed with huge stretches of beautiful white sandy beachfront. Because it's protected by Fraser Island, the sea is calm with gentle lapping waves, making it ideal and safe for swimming, playing, boating, fishing, or simply strolling or relaxing on the beach.

Toogoom village has 2 great restaurants (Goody’s on the Beach and Salty, an easy 5 to 7 minutes stroll from Beachfront Rest.

Just some of the additional things to see and do within an hour’s drive are golf, water park, go-karting, Reefworld Marine Centre, aquatic centre, skatebowl, air charter and joy flights, tenpin bowling, diving, water skiing, whale watching trips, sailing, windsurfing, parasailing, jet ski hire, canoeing, horse riding, cinemas, amusement centres, fishing and fishing trips, bowls, art galleries, markets, botanical gardens, plus visiting fairs, circuses and rodeos in holiday season.
