Palm's Oasis is a two bedroom, two bath condo located in world's famous Palms of Destin Resort boasting the largest lagoon pool in Destin, Florida. The master bedroom has a king-size bed furnished with a flat-screen TV, private full bathroom with soaker tub / shower combo and access to the large balcony overlooking the majestic resort scenery.

The second bedroom has a Full-Size bed and is also furnished with a flat-screen TV. The second full bath is complete with a beautiful benched, tiled shower. Gorgeous furnishings, flat screen TV in the living area with a queen sofa bed, your own washer & dryer, and an open floor-plan with a furnished kitchen overlooking the lush resort landscape completes this beautiful unit. Enjoy free internet and cable TV while you relax after a day at the beach. As an exclusive guest you will enjoy Destin’s largest lagoon pool beneath swaying palms or simply enjoy our many amenities including kid's activities, fitness center, children’s playground, tennis and basketball courts.

The 11,000 square foot, 259,000 gallon zero entry pool is DESTIN’S LARGEST LAGOON POOL! You'll be blown away by the 5 dancing waterfalls, walking bridges and spacious lounging area. There's a 21,000 gallon heated pool, children's splash area and whirlpool spa.

The Palms of Destin Resort features a 2,265 square foot state-of-the-art fitness center including elliptical cardio treadmills, cross trainers, bikes and summit trainers each having a personal entertainment system.

The Palms of Destin offers full size basketball courts and two lighted tennis courts, with complimentary equipment available from guest services in the resort lobby. The Palms of Destin also offers lessons and clinics taught by USPTA and USPTR tennis professionals.

Seasonally, the resort offers a complimentary three-minute air conditioned beach shuttle to the beach access beside the Back Porch restaurant from 10am-10pm. Additional shuttles run to the Destin Commons and Harborwalk Village.

Great location, however the condo could use some refreshing. The couch had stains on all the cushions. Most of the lamps were missing the thing you twist to turn them on.

A nice long weekend at The Palms of Destin

We had a great stay in Destin. The property was as described. The resort is a busy place but the parking garage was relatively close and easy to access. We found the washer and dryer to be very convenient with all of the visits we made to the beach.

Not worth it.

The property is easy to get to. Check in process is simple. Front desk very nice people. Hallways stained carpets and smelled bad. Elevators hardly ever worked. We had to spend over an hour cleaning. Thick dust on a lot of things. Couch was very disgusting and stained. Washer works fine. Dryer had no hose, so all the lint blows right into the so called 2nd bedroom. The 2nd bedroom is super tiny. The kitchen was good however. The pool is amazing.

Clean but LOUD

It was clean. Only negative was we didn’t notice there was going to be music every night at the pool that was very loud into our room while we tried to sleep. Other than that, we enjoyed the stay. Convenient to have the restaurant downstairs. The Kids loved the pool

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The reception area was worn and dingy. Floor cleaning and polishing might make a difference. The specific unit I stayed in needs attention. The bathroom light fixtures had layers of dust and hair. The quarter round needs painting, couch is gross and dirty.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay! The staff were wonderful, property gorgeous! Room had minimal wear & tear but over all very nice. A slight funny smell when first opening the door to the room but once inside couldn’t smell it! The only hiccups we had were, the Tv in my son’s room would randomly turn on, by itself and be on max volume, which eventually the boys made a game of it. And the basketball court didnt have any lights so once it was dark outside they couldn’t see to play, however that didn’t stop them 😆. It was a marvelous time.

Read before booking

Listing of the condo is not from accurate. Listed as 2 bedroom, should have said 1 bedroom with another bed in a closet. Listed as close to the beach, should have said you have to cross a main 4 lane highway to get to the beach. Property was also not maintained at all. Stairwell smelled like mold and the units couch and couch bed was horrible.

Decent Spot

Didn’t have a serious issue with the stay. Some of the things that were brought up by old reviews were still an issue. Dryer doesn’t dry well. The tub didn’t have a drain plug. Tried twice to get in touch with the owner about an early check in since I was coming from a long distance. The location was great though and so was the amenities at the resort.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was beautiful and had everything, you would possibly need. Everything was clean and smelled fresh. Plenty of pillows, linen, kitchen was stocked with all possible equipment. I was able to cook. I brought my own cleaning supplies, but they provided that as well. I brought washing detergent but they provided detergent for at least one wash. The place was so wonderful, I hope to return. We enjoyed the pool most, even with low temperatures we couldn't resist it. I think this resort was superb. I had one hiccup when I arrived where after hours, there was no key for me and we had to call for assistance, but the security officer was more than helpful and kind. He offered all the help and then some. I was truly grateful.

Not Impressed

This place is cute in decor and the location is good, however, that is all I can say. There were multiple reviews that I read about the place before booking, and the issues, but they had not been corrected prior to my arrival and were worse than imaginable. The dryer, tv, and second bedroom were mentioned and were issues with my stay also so not previously remedied. The dryer makes horrible noise- it sounds like a train. It had been mentioned by another reviewer. It also takes 3-4 full cycles to get clothes close to dry. It needs to be replaced as maintenance was unable to remedy. I was there for a ball tournament so you can imagine the inconvenience. The tv in the second bedroom didn’t work and maintenance was unable to fix and said it also will need replacing so no tv to watch there. The second bedroom pics are sooooo deceiving. It is a full bed and the bed is up against the wall. The pic you see of the tiny walk way between the bed and wall under the tv is all the space you have in there. Pics are misleading guests. Unfortunately we resorted family to the pullout couch and it was so uncomfortable we had to go buy an air mattress for the living room floor. There was only one hand towel in the kitchen. The pots and pans are all scratched and needing replacing. The doors to the balcony hardly open, and the place was filthy. The walls were scratched and dented in places and the baseboards dusty and marked with what looked like suitcase wheel marks. It needs repainted. The sheets on the pullout couch were not changed from the previous stay and had blood on them. The couch had food under it. The other bedding was stained. The walls in the master bath had black stuff on the wall behind the toilet- I can only imagine what it was. The lamps didn’t have bulbs and there was no toilet paper holder in one of the bathrooms upon arrival. Property management was good to work with and tried to help but they need to clean more thoroughly between guests and do better walkthroughs, and the owner needs to tend to their place with paint and replacement of several items. This place is worn and it shows. On vacation, I wanted to relax. I chose this place with certain amenities and those amenities failed us.

Dust bunnies on floor, mold on ceiling in guest bathroom, handle of sliding door falling off, very hard to open. I tried reaching out to the rental company upon our arrival with no response. I’m sure we would stay at this resort again, but I would not book this condo again or any condo through this company.

Enjoyable

We had a good time staying in this condo, the property & pool/splash pad is amazing for kids & families. It’s very accessible to restaurants & a short walk to the beach. The coffee shop & restaurant/bar we’re nice & accommodating & the crab legs on Friday nights were delicious! The condo itself was spacious enough for four adults & a baby. Our only complaints is the couch & chairs in the living room including the chairs on the patio are SUPER uncomfortable & need to be replaced it was hard to sit on them for more than a half hour… our other compliant is how filthy the return air vents were in the condo it looked as though they had black mold on them & hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. Overall we had a good experience.

However, if you do not book through Compass- forget customer service at the front desk.We stayed in room 2207 at The Palms of Destin and unfortunately for us, upon walking into our room at 4:06pm we arrived to an unclean room. It was in the same condition from the guests the night before. It is clear the management company has no process to ensure a room is clean before issuing a guest a key. My family had to wait and do nothing while housekeeping “cleaned” our room. The management company never answers when you call, instead you wait for a call back. Which is frustrating especially in a situation like ours.There were 3 face towels in a room which slept 6 which made showering interesting. In addition, the dryer did not work. It took 4-5 cycles to dry a couple of items and was so loud we could only run it while we were away. Which made showering more interesting as we could not wash our three face towels fast enough. The pillows on the beds were old and worn.The room was decently clean and in decent repair, but I wasn’t amazed or impressed.I might stay at The Palms again but I will never book through Destiny.

Everything was great besides the dyer. It would take three time on 60 mins for clothes to dry no matter how much was in there and it was supper load

Family vacation

We loved the pool. The walk to the beach was short and easy even our 4 year old did fine. The restaurant is also very good. The negatives were the 2nd bedroom was smaller than what I understood. We had a pack n play for our youngest and once we put that up you could only open the door to the 2nd bedroom , there wasn't any room to walk. Not a huge deal but if you have a crib or pack n play its really hard to fit in the 2nd bedroom. There was also only 1 handtowel for the kitchen which was a pain.

Cute Get-a-Way

Overall a good listing! The area is very close to shops, restaurants, and the beach. The property was clean, management was nice, and the resort was wonderful! Gym, pools, and walking distance to shops/restaurants, bar, etc. The only thing I would note is that the second bedroom is extremely small. The bathroom is a great size, but be prepared for a tiny room with no space for luggage, etc. Would definitely book this place again!

Palms of Destin Review

Upon arrival, we were slightly disappointed. There were dirty towels in the bathroom, pictures hung upside down, markers drawn all over the couches, A tv that did not work, rugs that were wrinkly along with holes in the carpet. The sliding door in the master room was broken and the spare bedroom was smaller than the bathroom. Pictures did not do justice for this room. The pool and location was amazing , but overall we were disappointed with the room.

Enjoyed our stay.

Although the second bedroom was smaller than expected my family and I enjoyed our stay at your facility tremendously. When I called management the responded with such courteousness and took care of my concerns. I would certainly stay at this facility in the future.
