A little something for everyone

The Palms Resort is perfect for a family vacation. Lots of amenities like gorgeous pools and hot tubs, fun bar with outdoor games, gym and an adorable coffee shop. It is also walking distance to the beach and restaurants.

Very nice property and convenient to alot of things. The only drawback was the road construction and having to leave a day early because of the hurricane heading toward my home in georgia.

Everyone loved the pool area!!! Great location to beach and everything else. Bathroom sink drain clogged. Black mold in one bathroom. Lots of towels which was nice! Kitchen set up was good. We had a lovely time, just needs some deeper cleaning and updates.

The property, pool, restaurant and bar are great. The unit needs a lot of love: The carpeting is filthy, needs a good clearning. The small towel bar in the hall bathroom falls off the wall, the right bracket is broken. The bathroom off the master suite has no stoppers in the sink or tub. The shower curtain liner and window in tub are moldy. Sheers on all windows are dirty and worn. The sliding door tracks need to be cleaned and rollers replaced, very difficult to open. Needs new living room furniture and dining room chairs. We sat on pillows since we sank almost to the floor when we sat down. Based on the current condition of the unit, I would not stay there again.

Terrible Management

Condo itself seemed fairly clean, but they had mold by the ac vents. Hallways and elevators smelled like urine. Management was horrible! There was an incident at the pool and we could not get in touch with management. Jeremy was his name, and he was extremely rude once he was contacted. The weather was clear and they would not open the pool!! Any time Jeremy was contacted, he would hang up the phone.

The bed/bathrooms were spacious, which make my sister, who is partially handicapped, able to move around freely. The balcony was a good size with nice furniture/tables. The kitchen was clean and stocked as advertised. Overall, our stay was very enjoyable and relaxing. I would recommend The Palms to others, especially #2601, which I would request in the future.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo and grounds are exactly as stated and the pictures are accurate. The unit was clean, I would not say spotless. Plenty of room and relaxing balconies. The unit did not have any spices, baggies, etc in the kitchen, just the basics. There are some beach chairs and supplies in the closet. The shuttle runs every hour to the beach but is an easy 10 minute walk across the street. The back porch and Walmart are walkable as well for groceries and food. Process was easy coming and going for reservations. The palms restaurant downstairs actually has decent food and drinks with some entertainment on certain nights. The pool is pretty and some fire pits for night time. You will enjoy your stay!

Pleased with the location and amenities of the resort! Had a wonderful family vacation here. Large pool is not heated though. Unit could have been cleaner. There was a lot of mildew buildup on the master bath ceiling and stained linens.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First time staying in Destin. The condo was nice inside except a major mold problem in master bathroom shower. Wasnā€™t a big deal and we preferred other shower more. The lagoon pool is nice but it was cold and the heated pool is small and was super packed. Staff at check in say you can use bellhop cart but itā€™s always ā€œin useā€. Never saw one. Bell hop sometimes there. Go to state park beach. Other beach public access small and packed.

Palms was a beautiful place . Loved the golf.

Our place was beautiful . Till you sat and looked around the carpet was very dirty. The kitchen floor was black we wiped it up. We wrote in book . And the last people that stayed there in 2019 said the same thing. The facility was great . All in all we injoyed our stay . And also on the last day when I flung back my sheets on the bed there was a big fuzzy black hairball in my sheets it grossed me out had no idea it was there till I turned back the sheets probably came from too much stuff in the dryer but it was not pretty. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of this resort is perfect. The weather was cooler than other spring breaks, but the hot tub was amazing! Thereā€™s everything on site that a vacationer might want or need. I did have to contact guest services because the kitchen floor in this particular property was filthy. The guest services manager did offer to have the housekeeper come back to clean, but we denied it. Besides the disgusting floors, the condo was very nice and looked just like the pictures - and the balcony view is perfect!! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Overall it was a nice vacation.
