We loved staying at the Bamboo Waikiki hotel- the outdoor area with the hot tub, pool, and bar was a great way to relax during the day or in the evening. The room was clean and well stocked with paper towels and TP, extra bath towels and 2 beach towels, and had a working stove and microwave so we could make meals during our week long stay. We also used the laundry facilities on the floor above us and the washer worked great. The TV was another highlight and we used it to watch a couple of football games. This hotel is conveniently located a few minutes away from the beach, so you can easily walk to many restaurants, other hotels for tour pick ups, and the bus station (located just across the street). The amenities in the room are not very updated and it is a bit of a small space, but it still worked great for us. We would highly recommend this room to anyone wanting to enjoy their Waikiki vacation without having to break the bank.

The location is amazing and we have stayed in this unit before. The only things I would recommend is the bathroom is extremely dated and could use an upgrade. Also the mattress is very uncomfortable and needs to be replaced. It sags a great deal. Host was great getting back to us about the tub and shower rod is broken.

Fabulous location--we walked or took the bus and walked to rent a car one day. The room was clean, but tired, with worn furniture surfaces, a worn TV remote, and towel rack coming out of the wall.

I felt the location was nice. The overall pictures were misleading. The apartment could use a little TLC. Bathroom I felt was the worse. Rust around the bathroom faucet, the cold water faucet was stripped, so it was hard to get the right temperature. Shower bar broken, just very old.Not enough towels for the stay. When we arrived, the apartment had a bad smell, very old.The bed and flooring was the nicest in the apartment.So overall, we managed to make the best of it. The owners should put a little TLC into making it look like the pictures

Checking was fine. I did not get a chance to use the kitchen as I walked out in 10 minutes because the place was so poorly kept and filthy.

Room issues, very dirty, many maintenance issues

My visit to Hawaii was wonderful. My room was a mess. Cleaness and maintenance very poor. Manager mark would not meet on site to see. I have photos, text messages of everything. No other tenants should have to deal with what I just did. Roy g smith

Good value close to Waikīkī beaches

The unit is small but perfectly adequate for two people. We were glad to have the kitchenette as it allowed us to save money by eating breakfast in each morning. The pool is not large but it’s lovely and shaded- a great place for a break from the afternoon heat and crowds at the beaches. We loved the location: walking distance to most of the beaches, restaurants and shops. And the AC in the unit worked great!

Great Location

The positive is, quiet air conditioner, quiet room when balcony door is closed, comfortable bed, clean linens, pool is nice. Close to everything. Negative: Floors were absolutely filthy. They had not been cleaned for a very long time. I brought slippers and they were black on the bottom. The bathroom floor was filthy, toilet seat is broken, conduit hanging off the wall, rusty bathroom fixtures and spouts. No shampoo and the conditioner bottle half full. The property management write up said parking was 30 a day. It was 40.

Great location but unit needs attention

We loved location and staff, but owner and property mgr needs to pay more attention. Bed is sorely in need of replacement. Most lights were blown and need bulb replacement. Unit was not cleaned and although it was resolved and credit provided, it was the P M initial response that threw us. 4 minutes before check in time and PM stated "did front desk tell you it was ready". Versus...we are sorry it wasn't cleaned, and will get unit cleaned right away. Requires we wash dishes but no dish rack proveded. But bed was the worse

Great stay!

Property was great and in an awesome location. The room was perfect for the two of us! Close access to the beach and all other facilities in the area. The property owners were great at communicating. The restaurant and bar were fun and the food was really good.

Tge property location is tye best, 2 blocks from beach and the International Marketplace. The room was clean and bed was comfortable.

Mediocre studio

While the lobby seemed decent and the front desk staff was pleasant, the room was a bit disappointing. Needed some fresh paint and a deep clean. The faucet didn’t seem to work properly on the shower and the toilet seat was falling off. The bed was not very comfortable, which always makes it even worse. The parking garage was barely manageable for a mid size rental car, and there are literally about 12 spaces. The location was nice, walking distance to the beach and lots of shopping and dining. Not awful, just a disappointment. Would not recommend it.
