Welcome to your private Pocono Mountains escape — a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature on a private wooded 2-acre lot.

This cozy ranch-style home offers the perfect balance of comfort, privacy, and outdoor living. Surrounded by trees and wildlife, it’s the ideal place to relax, disconnect, and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors — without crowded communities or neighboring homes right outside your window.

The home features a newly renovated kitchen, living room, and dining area, along with 3 comfortable bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms. Whether you’re planning a family getaway, couples trip, fishing weekend, or peaceful retreat with your dog, this home was designed to help you slow down and recharge.

Outside, guests can enjoy:
• A covered hot tub surrounded by nature
• A large private patio and outdoor seating areas
• Fire pit perfect for evening campfires and s’mores
• Gas grill and outdoor cooking area
• Pizza oven-style outdoor fireplace/grill
• Hammocks, games, darts, basketball hoop, and plenty of space to explore
• Beautiful wooded surroundings with frequent deer sightings

The nearby lake is just about a minute away and is best suited for fishing and enjoying nature. During the summer months, the lake becomes more natural and filled with water lilies, creating a peaceful woodland atmosphere rather than a crowded beach environment.

Unlike many Pocono rentals located in busy communities, this property offers true privacy and space to unwind. Guests love the quiet setting, fresh air, and relaxing atmosphere — perfect for escaping city life and reconnecting with nature.

The home is located around 15 minutes from local stores, restaurants, Bushkill Falls, Shawnee Mountain, hiking trails, and other popular Pocono attractions.

We provide everything needed for a comfortable stay, including:
• Fresh linens and towels
• Toiletries
• Propane for the grill
• High-speed internet
• Smart TV
• Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating

Our second home is located on the neighboring private property across the street. Both homes may be rented together for larger groups, accommodating up to 18 guests total. Please contact the host for details.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
• One exterior security camera is located facing the driveway/front entrance only
• Community pool access may be available seasonally from early July through Labor Day, but availability and community rules may change each year
• Pet-friendly home with plenty of outdoor space for dogs to enjoy.

Very Clean PropertyLocated well off the main road. Our Host was great at communicating the approriate information and responding to questions. This is an ideal spot to get away from it all and unwind.

Perfect mountain getaway

This house was absolutely perfect for a quiet weekend in the mountains w my husband and three young children. We were looking for somewhere a little off the beaten path, and this house fit the bill. We enjoyed the hot tub, hammock and fire pit, and got to see many deer wandering in the woods Communication w the host was quick and friendly. I'd happily stay again.

We stayed at the house for a quick country getaway. It’s in a great location, close to groceries, restaurants and other family activities. The house was clean and welcoming, however missing a couple details. The bathroom windows had blurred out linings, but did not fully cover the window. There’s another house across the way and it would have been better for more coverage and privacy for the bathroom. I just used a towel to cover the exposed areas. The living room also didn’t have curtains and this also faced the other house. It would have been nice to have that privacy, especially at night when the lights are on and you can easily see into the house. I did not complain about this at the time, because it did not matter enough to fix while we were there, but maybe for future stays, it could be taken into account. We used the hot tub, which was nice. It did have an old smell to it, but not enough to stop using it. Overall, the house was spacious and clean enough for what we needed. Magdalena was always available and easy to communicate with!

A gem in the woods

This beautiful home is immaculate and cozy. The owner, Magdelena, responds to all messages in a timely manner. We were so impressed upon entering. The personal touch of wine and candy for our 20th anniversary was a special amenity. My husband and I will be back. We miss the peace and quiet already 🙂

Wonderful home

I would recommend this place. The house was updated and clean. It was quiet. So much better than staying in a hotel. Very well stocked. It was great to have the use of the washer and dryer. It was very hot outside temperature was 90 degrees so I used the hot tub to soak my feet after each day of hiking. Host checked in with us throughout the week to make sure everything was ok. She responded to my emails very promptly when I had questions. Pictures were very accurate.

Awesome property

Located in the woods, some other houses around but a very quiet and peaceful place. Magdalena was excellent in back to us with any of our questions. Our dogs also loved exploring the woods around the house. Would definitely stay again as I can imagine this being a beautiful spot in the fall and winter.

House was perfect

Nicely decorated and clean property. There was space to enjoy yourself both indoors & out. House looks to be recently updated which was so much better than a “cabin” experience. I had the great outdoors & indoor comfort at the same time. Owner responsive which was also nice.

Great location for the family BUT

The location of this property was great and we had a nice time with our family. However, there are a few things to note. For one, the kitchen is stocked but very minimally. If you need something specific to cook with (sharp knives and a cookie sheet) I suggest bringing your own. This home appeared very clean upon entry and smelled great too. However, when we went to take showers we noticed the shower floor was black, had clumps of hair and dead bugs inside it. The weather was also very warm so we decided to open the windows. When we did, we discovered an old, moldy cigarette on the windowsill. All in all, we had great memories here but I’m disappointed to have spent money for a cleaning fee and ended up having to clean for our own use.

Thank you for your honest opinion. I always strive to implement feedback from guests in order to better my listing. To give the full context, the first day that you arrived you had expressed your happiness with the house and thanked me. You gave the indication that you were satisfied with the house and there were no issues that you brought to my attention I then asked about the dog fee, which you were informed of prior to arriving. After which, you began complaining about the house and didn’t want to pay the dog fee, eventually leading to this negative review. You mentioned that you would leave a negative review at the time, mentioning excuses for why you shouldn’t have to pay despite it being clearly outlined in the listing prior to your booking, in addition to mentioned in our correspondence. As negative reviews significantly impact my listings, I was forced to relent and I had to eventually pay the dog fee out of pocket to throughly clean the house for the next guest. I believe this is important context when reading your review. Thanks

Wonderful Getaway

Prior to booking this property, I had issues trying to book two other properties. I am so glad the other properties didn't work out because this was the perfect place for us. I travelled with my adult daughter and our lab mix dog. The owner was very responsive to any inquiries and was always very professional. The place was immaculate. It had everything we needed. It was nestled away in an area that made us feel like we were far away from things but in reality we were just a couple of miles away from dining, shopping and other entertainment. I really felt like it was a home away from home and look forward to going back.

Outstanding in every way

I am not sure how much space I have here but it is not enough to list how great this cabin is. The house was absolutely spotless when we arrived. There was some pots and pans to use, plenty of cooking utensils, plates and silverware. Both charcoal and gas grill, also an outdoor, wood fired, pizza oven, and a very nice outdoor fire pit area. Internet and DTV provided. The location was perfect for our needs, I would call it remote but yet it is a short drive to a pizza place and deli, maybe 20 minutes to a full grocery store. Right in the middle of all things Delaware Water Gap, great place to use as a base camp for exploring. It is surrounded by trees and wildlife was all around, I loved walking outside at night and early in the morning. it was peaceful of place as I have ever been. You can't help but let go of the stress of life while there. The host is super polite and very helpful, I can't think of a single thing that I ask to change. alan

Wonderful stay!

Had a wonderful time at this property, perfect for a get away with me and my now fiancé (proposed on this trip). Highly recommend, property was clean, maintained, and had plenty of options for cooking as well as a fire pit which is a huge plus.

Fantastic family getaway

Super clean inviting home. Lots of outdoor space to enjoy with privacy - great for playing games, cooking bbq and relaxing. The kitchen was stocked with convenient items we needed. Beautiful property! Would love to return!
