Harrys Cottage . Early checkin & late checkout offered if possible.

Harrys has been carefully modernised but still retains much of its charm. With 3 bedrooms, 2 containing double beds and the third has 3 singles, one single bed and two bunk beds. We have 2 bathrooms with toilets and one has a washing machine & dryer. A good sized loungeroom with enclosed verandah containing comfortable chairs and also another open verandah with a barbeque to enjoy outdoor dining. The enclosed yard is child and dog friendly and there is offstreet parking for the car and boat.

Just cross the road and down the laneway access (about 40 metres) and you are on the shores of the Shoalhaven/Crookhaven Rivers. There is a reserve nearby where you can fish or launch your canoe or kayak.

MAXIMUM of 7 ONLY Sleeping in cottage and this includes children.

YOU WILL NEED TO BRING SHEETS PILLOW SLIPS & BATH TOWELS as we are unable to supply these.

The cottage is air-conditioned and we have overhead fans in the 2 double bedrooms, kitchen /dining area and lounge room plus a portable floor fan for the single bed room.

Local Attractions

Our best kept secret is out as our local cafe, Pelican Rocks Cafe, has just won the the Best in NSW fish and chips! You can eat in but need to book and takeaway is available.

Also without a doubt, Shoalhaven Oysters are the best on the South Coast too.

Just 100 metres down the road is the Greenwell Point Bowling Club with its really great Chinese restaurant and a bistro.

The main foreshore area, which is a few minutes drive or a 10 minute stroll from Harrys, has two boat ramps and a large parking area. There are barbecues, a playground, the swimming pool and cafes. You can buy a coffee or fish and chips and enjoy the beautiful Shoalhaven River with its pelicans and boats just cruising past or take a walk along the rivers edge and throw a line in. There is also a very good Council run pool on the foreshore with shelters and an undercover toddlers pool. Great family spot to get takeaway fish & chips from Pelican Rocks Cafe across the road.

There are great golf courses in the area, with the new Worrigee Links just 10 minutes away or the beautiful course in Nowra.

For the surfers, there is the choice of Shoalhaven Heads, Culburra beaches, the reef at Currarong or Caves Beach.

For swimming and snorkelling there is nothing to compare with the fabulous Jervis Bay which is a short drive away.

We have river access just across the road and down lane, so dont forget to bring the canoes and kayaks.

It is only a short drive over the mountain to the beautiful Kangaroo Valley or a quick trip up the highway into Berry for some retail therapy and lunch at the many cafes. There are also many wineries in the area to visit.

LINEN - We are unable to supply personal linen and guests are required to bring their own sheets, pillowslips and towels. 3 Day Easter booking will have linen supplied.

There are plenty of bathmats and teatowels provided as well as doonas & blankets.

PETS- WE WELCOME YOUR DOG BUT OUR LIMIT IS ONE LARGE DOG OR 2 MEDIUM/SMALL AND YOU MUST SUPPLY THEIR BEDDING AND BOWLS. NO EXTRA CHARGE FOR BRINGING YOUR DOG.
LINEN WILL BE SUPPLIED FOR 3 DAY EASTER BOOKINGS.
EASTER is MINIMUM 3 day booking and any LONGWEEKENDS are 3 MINIMUM DAY BOOKINGS. We also try to offer LATE AFTERNOON CHECKOUT WHEN POSSIBLE.

It is the perfect little beach house. So many spaces to relax inside and out, the trees outside attracted a variety of birds, not even 2 minutes from the water, they have everything you need.

I stayed in this cottage for three nights and absolutely loved it. The place was spotlessly clean, beautifully styled and felt very comfortable and welcoming from the moment I arrived. The towels and linen were luxurious, everything was fresh and immaculately presented and the beds were super comfortable.With three bedrooms and two bathrooms, thereā€™s plenty of space, perfect for families or larger groups without ever feeling crowded.Thereā€™s no Wi-Fi, so youā€™ll need decent phone coverage if you plan to hotspot, but it was actually a nice excuse to switch off. The location is great.. with an easy walk to the bowls club and just a short drive to the pub and local cafĆ©s.The host was lovely , very friendly, welcoming and easy to communicate with. I would definitely stay here again and wouldnā€™t hesitate to recommend it.

Harryā€™s cottage is a quaint, well equippedCottage with ample beds and 2 bathrooms which are freshly renovated. It is an easy cottage to stay at. Kitchen loaded with pots, plates, cutlery and all the essentials for a stay. Communication with Jill was really prompt and helpful. Greenwell Point is a lovely small town on the river we delighted in THE best seafood platter at Pelican Rocks Cafe-Pre-order is essential but you will notBe disappointed.

Home away from home

Harryā€™s cottage is a little slice of heaven nestled amongst a small village with everything required for a comfortable stay. Easy access to Nowra and Berry where we had meet and greets before our sons wedding, only 15 minutes away from the cottage. A lovely quiet place to unwind and relax.

Absolutely loved this little cottage! Such a homey feel to it, owners were absolutely lovely and so welcoming! Would definitely recommend Wish we could have stayed extra nights and didnā€™t have to return to work!! Definitely will be booking again

Harry's is a short level walk to the riverfront reserve. Clean, comfy with good bathrooms, beds and kitchen supplies. Definitely worth a visit.
