MARINA VALLARTA BOARDWALK: A prime location and spectacular view. Great for an outdoor vacation. All the great restaurants and shopping are right nearby, and the beach is only a 5 minute walk, and a 5 minute walk in the other direction to the grocery store. After arriving you really won’t need your car again, because for Marina Vallarta it hardly gets more central than the Marina Golf. Restaurants, coffee shops and all other amenities are right at your doorstep.

MARINA GOLF: The Marina Golf is a large 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo, (second bedroom has sliders that can be opened up to create large living area), on 1st floor overlooking the Marina. Newly renovated. A relaxing and comfortable condominium on the Marina Vallarta. Enjoy a secure and gated Condominium that displays spacious grounds, a quiet atmosphere, with a relaxing large pool area. Also available are two Tennis Courts. Situated on the first floor the condominium has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, walk in showers, one large. There is a large laundry room with a washer and dryer, the area also serves as storage for luggage and sports equipment. i.e. golf clubs, bicycle.There is a flat screen TV in the living room. The condo has three large sliding glass doors, one off of the living room, the other two off the master bedroom & second bedroom to the large terrace. The spacious terrace looks off onto the beautiful Marina. The condo has internet/WIFI service, New high efficiency AC throughout.
FAMILY ADVENTURE: You will have everything on your doorstep, as Vallarta Adventure Company is located below the condo, where there are tons of activities such as bungee, zip lining, island tours, and so much more!
MARINA VALLARTA GOLF COURSE-: The Marina Vallarta Golf course is also just around the corner.
MARINA VALLARTA: Marina Vallarta began with a dream of creating a new level of life on Banderas Bay, where sailboats, yachts and fishing craft could count on a safe harbor. Today, Marina Vallarta is a planned real estate community including both homes and condominiums, a shopping mall, a school and first-class hotels, with landscaping throughout. Marina Vallarta's real estate opportunities include marina, oceanfront and fairway homes and condominiums for sale, with oceanfront condominium towers being the newest development.
THE MARINA: Work on the marina itself, with 450 boat slips, began in 1986. And by 1990, the marina was in full swing, even though it was 1993 before it was completed (ahead of schedule). Now, there are high-rise condominiums along the shoreline, marina-front condos, and homes and small development condominiums along the fairways of the Marina Vallarta golf course. It’s an excellent location that’s close to the airport and not far from downtown Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco and shopping available close by at Plaza Marina.
LANDMARKS, SIGHTS & ACTIVITIES: There are three distinguishing landmarks for Marina Vallarta. When arriving by vehicle, the first you'll see is a large whale sculpture at the Marina's main entrance. It was built by Octavio González in the early 90s and paid for by local Marina businessmen. The prominent landmark is a lighthouse, built alongside the marina promenade and at the end of Calle (street) Timon. The lighthouse has a bar at the top and is a wonderful place to have an evening cocktail and get a great view of all of Marina Vallarta. The marina promenade is very popular with strollers, enjoying the many boats in the marina, and the many restaurants available for breakfast, lunch and dinner. On Thursday evenings the whole marina boardwalk turns into a market with all sorts of interesting available, much of it handmade.
PLEASE NOTE: Guests must be 25 years of age to make a reservation and must provide ID at check-in unless prior approval has been given. The check-in desk retains the right to refuse access to any property if this condition has not been met. The credit card may be charged up to $500 after departure if property is damaged, requires excessive cleaning, or if items are missing. The credit card provided must be in the name of main guest. NO GROUPS.
We often get asked many questions from our guests as they plan their stay. I hope this is all helpful, my estimate of pesos is only a very rough guide:
You won’t need a car, taxi’s are easy and cheap – do not pay more than 250 pesos from airport to condo. The taxi’s from the airport are much more expensive than the normal yellow taxi service. If you are adventurous you can also walk across the bridge next to the airport and get a local yellow taxi to the condo. This would only cost about 80 pesos.
Visit Centro- A taxi ride from the condo to centro is 130 pesos. We like to walk along the Malecon in Centro – our favorite restaurant is La Dolce Vita on the Malecon
Visit Old Town Romantic Zone – condo to Romantic Zone Basilio Badilllo (200 pesos)
Visit the Markets between Centro & Romantic zone – approximately (180 pesos)
Visit Night Markets in the Marina - The markets are in the Marina on Thursday nights Dec-April), so make sure you stay in the Marina for those night
Favorite restaurants in the Marina – Expensive: Senora Grill, Affordable: Pepe’s Taco’s
The best tours are with Vallarta Adventures (they are located almost directly below the condo, so super easy to organize)

You can do almost anything through Vallarta Adventures.
Many of the activities can be done with local bus and taxi. We went through the list of activities that Vallarta Adventures provides and worked out how to do them on our own.
Day trip to Yelapa – Get the local bus to Boca(Bus from Marina to Basillio Badillo, local bus to Boca from Basillio Badillo), hire a small boat to Yelapa
Day trip to Los Animas – Get the local bus to Boca (Bus from Marina to Basillio Badillo, local bus to Boca from Basillio Badillo), hire a small boat to Los Animas
Day trip to Sayulita – Get a taxi to Walmart (70 pesos), get the local bus to Sayulita (70 pesos)
Dat trip to El Eden – Get a bus to Mismaloya (Bus from Marina to Basillio Badillo, local bus to Mismaloya from Basillio Badillo). Get a taxi, or hire a 4-wheeler up to El Eden
KEY CLEANLINESS GUIDELINES:
• We encourage good hand hygiene for guests and anyone involved with the property by encouraging hand-washing regularly with water and soap for at least 20 seconds.
• We recommend removing shoes when entering the property and leaving them at the entrance (if possible, outside).
You can withdraw pesos from most ATM’s in PV, however toy can also get pesos before you go from your local bank, they will need a week to order (get smaller denomination, lots of 20 and 50 peso notes) which is helpful for taxi rides etc..

Our family has visited Cabo, Todos Santos, Mazatlan & La Paz and then we discovered Puerto Vallarta in 2011. We fell in love with the Puerto Vallarta area (especially the Marina) and have returned many times each year since 2011. After visiting "The Casa Hogar Children's Orphanage" when our daughter was 11 she had a dream that she wanted to learn to speak Spanish and go to school at the American School in Puerto Vallarta. She is now 16 speaking fluent Spanish and living with a host family in Puerto Vallarta and going to the American School, and volunteering at "The Casa Hogar Children's Orphanage" with her classmates every Wednesday. We have an exchange student from the same family living with us, his name is Bruno and he is 16 too. My husband and I now have weekly Spanish lessons and we plan to retire in Puerto Vallarta one day, and live in our beautiful condo. We all love Puerto Vallarta (especially the Marina area), it is friendly, safe and has everything to offer. As well as the great water/mountain views in the Marina, the condo we found is just a short walk to the beach. We like the proximity to everything. We are right above the shops, restaurants, spas'a and cafes. There is a lot of variety in the Marina. It is a great location where you will always have so much to do.

OVERVIEW: Located in Marina Vallarta, this newly remodeled two bedroom, two bathroom condo is the perfect setting for your stay! The second bedroom has large sliding panel doors that allows the second bedroom to completely open up during the day. The condo is furnished so that you will have everything needed to enjoy your stay with optimal comfort and functionality. Everything is walkable. Restaurants, cafes, yoga studio and much more are steps away. A short 5-7 minute walk to the Supermarket and even closer to the liquor store, Starbucks and pharmacy. The living room/dining and kitchen area are fully equipped for the comfort you need to enjoy unforgettable moments with your friends and family. The dining area has a gorgeous hardwood table that seats eight people. You will wake up with spectacular Marina water views. The master bedroom has direct access to the deck, and a king bed with an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The second bedroom also has direct access to the deck and also features a trundle bed, with spectacular Marina water views. The second bedroom has large sliding panel doors that allows the second bedroom to completely open up during the day. Both bathrooms offer cozy towels of all sizes and we also provide beach/pool towels. Laundry detergent and dish-washing liquid is also provided for your convenience. Some of the highlights include free high speed internet, cable and a phone with free local calls, air conditioning, new modern blinds, washer/dryer, dishwasher and a high-speed blender (YES a Vita Mix!). Guests of Marina Golf also enjoy access to tennis courts, pickle ball court, pool with a second small kids pool, and palapa with a BBQ. The Marina Golf world-class golf course is minutes from the complex. You will find the beach a short walk away as you walk through the 5 Star Marriott Hotel.
