Beach-front Paradise Rosedale Beach

On a clifftop overlooking Rosedale beach, this fabulous contemporary home will delight. Appreciate the ocean views from the open plan kitchen/dining/lounge area, which opens onto a fabulous deck facing the sea. Savour the breeze as you sit out there with a drink under the trees. Watching the moonlight gleaming on the water from your spot on the deck is a particular pleasure, right up there with spotting whales from the top of the cliff. Take your coffee to the end of the garden to check out if the surf is better north or south, before you walk to the beach, a mere 100m down the street.

Equipped with NBN & wifi, 2 separate living areas, fireplace, board games (for adults and kids) and pantry staples, this is a great family holiday house set up to help you enjoy all the south coast has to offer. The beds are made up with fresh linen (included, but please note bath towels are NOT provided), so it couldn't be easier. Arrive, and relax! If you need provisions, Malua shops are 5km north, and Tomakin IGA is 5.8km south, take your pick.

On the entry level there is a queen bedroom and a twin bedroom, a family bathroom (shower and bath), a large lounge/rumpus room and the laundry. The mezzanine level is half a flight of stairs up, and hosts the master bedroom (queen bed) with ensuite bathroom and separate entrance to the back deck/lawn, plus a twin bedroom with a balcony looking onto a forest of spotted gums, and a powder room. The layout of the bedrooms makes it ideal for two families wishing to holiday together without being on top of each other, and the kids love having their own rumpus area downstairs. Up another half flight of stairs brings you to the huge open-plan kitchen/dining/lounge area, opening onto the large deck (complete with BBQ and outdoor furniture), all with wonderful ocean views. The high ceilings, modern furnishings and tranquil ambiance of this property will ensure a relaxing time for all the family.

Hidden from the main road, Rosedale Beach is hidden piece of heaven. The choice of swimming at the north or south end provides a perfect choice for families and surfers alike, regardless of the prevailing breeze direction. Walking around the rocks past Jimmie's Island at the south end takes one to secluded Nun's beach, facing south, giving a third option for swimming, plus access to easy bush walks across to Tranquil and Guerilla Bays.

Some non-beach options include brunch at The Rivermouth Cafe (Tomakin) or Mossy Point Cafe, a visit to Mogo Zoo, Tommo Golf (a 9 hole par-3 course, a driving range and 18 hole Mini-Golf), 18 hole golf courses at Batemans Bay and Moruya, the Mogo trails network for mountain bikers, the Gold Rush Colony at Mogo, the Mourya markets on Saturdays, the Eurobodalla Botanic Gardens, cinema and shops at Bateman's Bay, and more - but our guess is you probably won't leave the relaxation of Rosedale and 28 Knowlman Road!

This is a non-smoking house. It is not a dog-friendly house as there are no fences. We do NOT accept bookings for "schoolies".
