The Market Loft Suite is a quiet, bright, centrally located holiday apartment with floor to ceiling windows, creating a spacious and welcoming environment. The private patio faces the inner courtyard, offering a quiet and peaceful flat in downtown Victoria.
This suite is a non-smoking, family and pet friendly flat in the Historic Hudson Bay Building, which has undergone a complete architectural renovation that has preserved exposed columns and ceilings.

We are friendly, helpful managers who are local and are available to assist with any questions or concerns throughout your stay.

Guests have access to the entire space - there are NO shared spaces in the condo.

This condo is a bright, north facing apartment on the 4th floor in one of Victoria's grandest architecturally restored buildings. The private patio faces the inner courtyard, providing a quiet and peaceful location. The Victoria Public Market, located on the first floor of the Hudson Building, is a convenient shopping centre for all of your specialty food needs.

An absolute gem

Manager Tanya was a joy to deal with- knowledgable, great communicating with plus met in person for check in and out! Very clean, spacious, comfortable, well appointed condo in the heart of downtown. The underground parking was a real perk! Fantastic stay!

Excellent and quiet rental in ideal location

My family stayed for 6 weeks and the rental offered everything we needed to feel at home. The unit is well-appointed, very clean and well managed. Also, it’s very quiet for being in the heart of downtown. A lovely stay and would highly recommend this vacation rental.

Has everything!

Great location and equipped with everything you could possibly need. Tanya was wonderful, taking care of a couple of minor issues immediately - including late one Sunday evening. We were here for the whole month of October and it was a pleasure. Just to be honest, the furniture is looking a little tired and the couch is not exactly comfortable but overall, we were very happy.

TIcks all the boxes, and then some!

I stayed here with my dog for 6 weeks as a remote-work escape from Manitoba winter, and it was wonderful! It took no time at all to feel right at home - secure building & parking, excellent and reliable internet, friendly residents, fantastic location. The little park at City Hall is very close for those necessary doggie-business walks, and I enjoyed many long walks around the downtown after work. On the weekends when you have a little more time, I highly recommend the wander from the condo to Beacon Hill Park through the park and down to the beach. The Market Loft condo is quiet, bright, and very comfortable (the bed omg!), with a well-appointed kitchen and lots of cupboard and closet space. Melissa and Rod are welcoming and attentive hosts, and I arrived to some fruit, bread, and milk for my use until I made it out to the store - a very nice touch, and most appreciated. Really, from beginning to end, this was a wonderful working-snowbird experience I'd love to repeat. Enjoy your time at Market Loft, I really did!

The is an incredible location. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen very well equipped. Rod and Melissa were easy to deal with but to be honest we didn’t really have any issues. Everything was perfect

What a great place to call home, plus managers Melissa and Rod made us feel like we were at home. Best accessorized vacation rental ever, down to paper clips. Extremely clean and organized. All the kitchen gadgets one needs. Well maintained building. Kept using the Victoria Public Market below the building for take away foods, bakery and convenience store. Easy walking to everything downtown. Very quiet and private. Know where we’re staying next time.

Originally constructed by the Hudson Bay Company in the late 1800's it was their Victoria flagship store until a few years ago, when it closed and sold for redevelopment. After 3 years of extensive, and sensitive restoration, the Hudson now exudes the charm of a graceful ear from years gone by, with many significant modern features, such as air conditioning, heated floors and a huge rooftop terrace with gorgeous views over downtown Victoria. We love this building and location, and hope you will too.
