Great place and excellent stay

Great place for a getaway, beach is super close. Love that it's dog-friendly too! The shower and bathroom were especially nice. Highly recommend this place!

This was our first stay at the Long Island beach house in Frankston. It very much met our expectations. The entire house was very clean and comfortable and well stocked with the essentials. The outdoor area is great and although we stayed in the winter period the outside garden and patio was a wonderful area to sit and enjoy. The outdoor area would be great in summertime. The location is fantastic with a short walk to beach and to the shops & restaurants in Frankston. Nicholas was a great host with good communication about access to the house and using the facilities. Definitely recommend staying.

Our family started here over Xmas and NYE and we absolutely loved the house. It was super close to the beach, the backyard was perfect for our toddlers and had everything we needed for the week. Highly recommend.

Cozy & Great Location

Easy walk to the beach, shops and cafes. Perfect home to share with our 4 children of all ages and small dog close to town, thank you for giving us the opportunity to stay in your beautiful home, we will be back.

We had a great time staying at White Lodge. A very comfortable French style shabby chic home with comfy beds, great linen and towels. Easy communication with Nic who was very prompt at replying to messages. An easy walk to the station with a 1 hr train ride into Melbourne CBD and only 45 mins drive to the wine regions of the Mornington Peninsular. We particularly liked the back bedroom with doors opening on to the private, secluded garden. Thank you very much for letting us stay in your home.

Our secret paradise

White Lodge is beautifully decorated and has a well provisioned kitchen. Beds and bedding comfy and cosy. Having three recreation areas perfect for families, this includes undercover BBQ area. Beach is the best! 2mins walk away. Good shopping centre , restaurants/ Cafe close by.

A relaxing and peaceful stay

My friend and I wanted to get out of Melbourne after lockdown for a few days and this place was ideal. We stayed three nights (not enough) and it was so peaceful and we felt immediately comfortable. We parked and didn't move, walked everywhere. With shops and restaurants very close. My greyhound was made welcome and she loved it. Loved being able to roam the fenced yard and be with us as we cooked and walk new streets. The house has been lovingly renovated and the kitchen is fantastic for self catering. Comfy beds, great shower, excellent communication with owners. Highly recommend taking a few days out to hole up here.

Great Spot lovely little cottage

This little cottage has all you need for a get away. It was very well fitted out, walk to just about everything, the cottage is charming, clean and we were warm with the heater on. The extra little lounge area made a great extra bed for one of our ladies that can not share a room with someone. The middle room with the double queen bunks was a bit unusual but the girls managed them ok. The outside toilet was a true blessing with all us ladies there for the weekend. I would recommend this house we had a wonderful long weekend and l loved the 11am check out. It was great, thanks for everything :)

Perfect beach getaway

We spent 3 weeks during winter at White Lodge, and although we did not utilise the beach, it is the perfect beach retreat, especially if you appreciate charming seaside decor and comfortable well loved furnishings, comfy beds and percale linens, a well supplied kitchen, a generous shower with plenty of hot water, and a super location. A real plus was the heating. It is hydroponic and just gently surrounds you; a welcome delight in winter. Any communication was immediately answered by the personable owner. What more could one ask? Oh, and the neighbourhood was quiet - another plus.

Wonderful experience!!!

This is my first time booking a beach house like this! It was as just the most amazing experience and wish we could have stayed there a couple more extra days! The entire house was so clean and functional for the entire family with two little kids. Was so fresh and all amenities was available which next time I will pack less ! Nicholas was an amazing host answering all my questions and concerns quickly! I will definitely book again with my family and come back to this wonderful little beach retreat! I forgot to mention the beach is literally a 2 minute walk it was just the most convenient y location ever ! Even though we didn’t go out much to explore restaurant and surroundings due to Covid but just being at the house was amazing ! Thank you Nicholas ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Boutique Beach Sanctuary, only metres from a quiet spot on the sand..

We sincerely feel deeply blessed to have been able to stay in this beautiful boutique beach sanctuary. The effort Nic & Rob have gone to to not only create a relaxing, functional, beautiful space, only meters from the beach, but also to uniting the old with the new, comfort with classy, historical rustic fixtures with up to date modern amenities, all creating a European yet Aussie feel. Superior comfort with quality bedding, beds and furniture made settling in a breeze and our daughter loved the kids room. Plus, to be able to have our poor old arthritic Australian Cattle Dog with us was a great relief, she was very happy to waddle down to the beach and back, roll in the lush grass in the backyard, or, just watch the world go by from the front yard. Fully fenced and very well maintained, this property will not disappoint! We'll be back :)

Nic and Rob were amazing hosts! We arrived early in the morning from our overseas travels. The hosts graciously let us check in early so we could tidy up before we saw family. They were extremely responsive when there was need to communicate. The home has a rustic cabin feel with modern touches like towel warmer in the bathrooms and a large gas stove. We were just a short walk to the beach and a lovely cafe where we got our morning coffee and on occasion, some wonderful brekki. In spite of it being winter, we were still able to enjoy some lovely outdoor time. The home was well equipped with all kitchen amenities to help make our two week stay comfortable. Since we stayed for a long stretch during winter, the only thing that would have helped our situation would have been a dryer. I saw there was a washing machine when booking and assumed it also had a dryer too like a two in one. We used to live in Australia, so I am aware that dryers are not always common as people line dry but in winter it is more difficult with of/on rain, I should have remembered this. This would not be a problem for shorter stays but washing towels and linens for our big family took some time and early wash cycles. We made do by hanging clothes on hangers indoors near heaters. The property is centrally located with easy access to the Nepean Hwy and easy access to the freeway.We really appreciated the opportunity to stay at this cozy property. It was perfect for our stay to be near family. Thank you!

Another Serene Stay

Our second stay was equally enjoyable, even with the current COVID concerns, no interactions at all if you don't want them! Easy self check-in and check-out, LOADs of Uber Eats and Menulog Restaurants nearby means you can completely soak into the beautiful sanctuary Rob & Nic have created. The beach is just minutes around the corner, or, you can just lull into the relaxing sound of the crash of waves a block away from the courtyard entertaining area, the refreshing salt air and Mediterranean ambiance will certainly let you sink into holiday mode!

Such a lovely space

We had such a wonderful time here – the kids loved being so close to the beach and the creek, and the house had everything we needed. As soon as we walked in, we felt more relaxed! The garden is such a sanctuary, too. Very grateful for the break!

Long Island Perfection

We just spent the most enjoyable 5 nights at Whitelodge on Long Island. Two sets of parents, three boys and a sausage dog. The house was just as it was advertised; clean, spacious and with a well-stocked kitchen. The beach was literally a stone's throw away and we spent around 4 hours a day on what felt like our own private beach. When we weren't at the beach, we were playing lawn games or relaxing in the Mediterranean-style courtyard. The outdoor shower/toilet was extremely useful after the beach trips. The couches and beds were really comfy - which helped to get us relaxed and get into holiday-mode in no time. Lady Sausage had an absolute ball at Whitelodge too; and was able to join us at the beach (dog-friendly). Would highly recommend Whitelodge. We'd love to go back.
