Very private guest house makes a great base for side trips to Round Top, Brenham, Bellville.... Scenic 25 minute country road drive to Round Top or Brenham. Spacious guest house with king size bed and large, comfy couches (great for kids sleeping.) Large walk in shower. Fully furnished kitchen complete with farm eggs, local sausage and coffee for your enjoyment. Washer and dryer in the garage. Guests are welcome to fish, canoe or paddle boat on the pond. Great star gazing. Gas grill on the patio. Shady playground near by.

We had such a great stay and felt welcomed at Frank and Nancy’s house. The place was so cute, clean, and comfortable. We’d definitely stay there again.

Rental was clean and comfortable. Lots of pillows, blankets, sheets , etc to choose from. Fresh eggs, bacon, sausage, bread, and lots of coffee to choose from…can’t beat that! Shower is huge! Property is kind of in the middle of nowhere but very quiet and we liked seeing horses and cows all around.

Quiet Retreat

Came for an out of town wedding-- left festivites for a quiet, extremely comfortable and well-stocked home away from home. Plan to come back for family events.

Bellville Stay

We were stationed in Bellville until we entered the Houston Livestock Show. The stay was like being at your grandparents farm from the familiar smell to the fishing pond to the horses. It bought back great memories. Nancy was very accommodating and welcoming leaving fresh bread, breakfast and snacks. It was like we already knew this family. We would return.

Awesome Stay

I travel around the country running Spartan Races and I stay in a lot of VRBOs. This has been one of the best. From the cows walking up to the house to the pond and snacks (meat and eggs) provided by the host!I will definitely stay here again!

Peaceful and pleasant

One of my best experiences with a vacation home. great little personal touches. the property is very quiet and relaxing. friendly horses, fishing if you want to. it's really just an all around really great place to get away and clear your mind for a few days thank you so much for your southern hospitality.

Unbelievable Find ... Beautiful Peaceful Getaway

This family farm guest home is by far the most beautiful slice of Heaven on earth to be found! So incredibly peaceful and complete with friendly horses, cows and the world's cutest donkey. The hosts are wonderful and the farm fresh eggs, local breakfast meats and fresh baked bread are the best part of your day! Thank you and we will be back again soon!

Get away from the city

It was secluded and cozy. We enjoyed walking the property, petting the horses, star gazing, and relaxing. The house was so comfortable and relaxing. I will definitely stay again.

Quiet gem surrounded by plenty of things to do.

An amazingly quiet property with every imaginable personalized perk… the hosts are amazing. You can’t imagine the r and r waiting. The horses and cows are an added perk. The house is perfect … many added amenities. Perfect for a couple seeking solitude or a family seeking animals and adventure. I can’t wait to go back and explore the property and fish in the pond (tank). The perfect place!

The owners get it....

The owners seem to get what a traveler is generally wanting. Comfortable, surprise delicious treats, easy check-in, many TV choices, privacy, paths to walk, etc. Excellent stay. They are off a dirt road in the country, so dust does get on your vehicle. Farm animals close by, very gentle, well taken care of, living in a lovely environment.

Peaceful Country Getaway

My wife and I were visiting family in Bellville, TX, for the weekend and needed a place to stay. We found Nancy and Frank's place and booked it for a three night stay. Nancy was in good communication with us throughout, and met us on the driveway when we first arrived. She was really sweet, and told us to make ourselves at home. When we pulled down the drive past the pond and the barn to the guest house, we were greeted by cows and horses. The guest house was really clean and had everything we could have wanted. Nancy provided lots of snacks, delicious coffee, and local sausage, bacon, and farm eggs for us. The meat was from the Bellville meat market in town square, which is one of the nicest meat markets I've even visited. The property is about 15 minutes to the Bellville town circle, and Brenham and Round Top are close stops also if you want to check those out. Five Stars, and we hope to stay there again when we come back!

Just we were looking for

We have nothing but positive feedback. We were looking to get-away. . We had a comfortable nicely furnished house in the country with cows, horses, trails, beautiful setting, and a pond. Delicious breakfast items were furnished. The owners were gracious and available as needed. Brenham and Round Top were accessible. Highly recommended.

Great getaway

This was the perfect spot for us to get away from our busy lives. I chose this location so my husband and I could tune out the world after the school year we have had. We felt so comfortable in that cottage from the minute we stepped inside. It's lovely and so cozy!! I appreciated so much the fresh breakfast items and the well stocked kitchen. How nice!! While my husband enjoyed fishing in the pond in the mornings, I enjoyed my walks along their property trail. I especially loved the horses that visited us late at night and in the morning. They are obviously right at home and I enjoyed petting them and feeding them carrots. (Hoping that was ok, Lol!) That was a first for me as I have never been around horses and it was so fun! We enjoyed being tourists even though we only live 30 minutes away. We toured the castle, the jail (which was interesting since our tour guide actually lived there as a teenager since his dad was a deputy), the meat market was great too and we enjoyed a good burger at "The Hill" I am grateful to Nancy for answering my many questions about the history of their property even after we left...I loved learning more about where we chose to stay. She was a great host! I am hoping that we can return for another visit in the fall when football season is done. I would love another chance to just relax at such a great place--in cooler weather. Trust me, if you want a great spot to relax and unwind, this is it.!

Belleville cottage

Above and Beyond!

If your looking for a peaceful getaway then look no further. Frank and Nancy are the most hospitable. The guest house pictures don't do it justice. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay! The property is wonderful with wildlife abundant. Nancy was kind enough to show us around and the kids really had fun on the playground. Will stay again!

Peaceful, comfortable stay in the country

The guest house was spacious and spotless. The oversized sofa and loveseat were great for reading, napping or watching the flat-screen TV. The bed was comfy, too, with nice linens and lots of pillows. Terrific bath with double sinks and a giant shower. Well-stocked kitchen with modern appliances. The snacks, breakfast goodies and coffees/teas were delicious. Plenty of outdoor seating on two decks and a covered porch. Nancy and Frank couldn't have been nicer. Highly recommend.

Truly Amazing!

This property exceeded our expectations! It was the perfect place out in the country, quiet, scenic, sunny days and star filled night skies, horses, cows, a donkey, a place to fish, hike, or just enjoy nature! The owners attention to detail is amazing providing farm fresh eggs and local market meats for breakfast plus coffee, juice and breads. We were able to communicate with them as needed with a quick response although we never actually met them. They were the most gracious hosts! Looking forward to staying again!

Great Quiet weekend

My husband and I stay here for out 10th Anniversary trip . We enjoyed how quiet and peaceful this house was and the Owners have everything that we need and more. We felt like we were at home . We love how they provided fresh eggs, sausage and bacon so we had a great breakfast and love the snacks they provided.
