Bring the Inlaws! Separate apartment perfect for extended family.

Separate ground level 2 bedroom apartment/suite allows private space equipped with large smart tv', King size Master bedroom and one additional bedroom. Also has it's own eating area and kitchenette.

This property does not include a golf cart. Golf cart rental companies will be recommended by the owner.

Minimum stay is 7 nights during the summer months. Rentals are Saturday to Saturday.



Amenity cards may be purchased through homeowner. House has total of four televesions, WIRELESS Internet Access. Outdoor Shower,Charcoal Grill, and everything you need for a day at the beach - including towels, sand toys, chairs,cooler, and more.....

This spacious, Low Country house is situated on a quiet street just a four minute walk to center island beach access... one minute by bicycle. Porch access and views from each room makes the light and lush landscape a part of the WOW factor! The spacious living room area provides comfortable seating for entertaining, and the dining room accomodates eight with overflow to the screened porch. The big, bright, open fully stocked kitchen has 30 feet of countertop - great for multiple chefs and buffet dining. Two of the bedrooms have direct access to porches. Upstairs baths are fully tiled with tub/shower combinations, In-law suite bath has been renovated and includes tiled shower. Separate Washer/Dryer room. Pets are NOT allowed and No Smoking.

Off-street parking accomodates several vehicles. Best of all, Fripp Island is a wildlife sanctuary, and deer frequently roam our front and rear yard. Even better, Fripp Island is frequently visited by Loggerhead Sea Turtles nesting on our shores.

July Vacation to Fripp

Cozy, comfortable home. A few problems like oven not working but addressed by owner. Bathroom fixtures very old giving the bathrooms a dingy appearance. Counters and toilets very low. One of my son-in-laws is 6’4” and it looked like he had to stand on his head to brush his teeth, lol. Trash can holder very dirty and several utensil drawers had crumbs and debris in them. Although adequate we probably won’t stay here again. Owner very nice and responsive, just house is very old and needs renovated.

Family vacation

We really enjoyed this house! The in law suite was great. The kitchen was fully stocked with evening we needed. There was plenty of linens, towels, beach towels and beach chairs. Thank you!

In-law suite downstairs was great.

The separate two bedroom apartment downstairs was great even if we were the in-laws staying upstairs. We have five children and spouses which would normally take six bedrooms, but two of the couples split time. The house was truly equipped with everything you need and a lot of things you don’t need. Don’t miss the equipment/storage room in the garage where you’ll find bikes fishing rods, and you could probably even do some yard work with all the tools. The apartment also provided a second full refrigerator, which is always a challenge for a group our size. The outdoor showers were great and the large dining table was excellent for family dinner as well as games. The decks and porches were awesome. The one and a half block walk to the beach access, but I’ll have to admit the boardwalk was about the same length to actually get out to the beach. The location was excellent, because nothing at Fripp is far away. We never stayed on this “and“ a Fripp, but it was nice to be that close to the market. Everything was great and we would definitely stay there again.

Nice location with room for all

Great House-Great Location

Our family really enjoyed this house! It met every need we had and was more than enough room to accommodate everyone. It was a great 4th week and we will definitely be looking to Book this house again!

Perfect

Our stay was a perfect opportunity to be with our family and a perfect location for Thanksgiving. The house was graciously spacious for all involved and was immaculate in its cleaning and appearance. There is an abundance of porch and outdoor space and a short walk to the beach which offered us stunning sunsets. Joell was easy to communicate with; we'll be back.

Wonderful Vacation Home!

We had a great time at this beautiful, very comfortable and well appointed home. The communication with the homeowner was excellent. It’s a great beach location using the 9th beach access. Kudos to the homeowners for providing fluffy beach towels and beach chairs, plenty of lighters, even insect spray. The coffee table in the upstairs living room is perfect for family games. The screened porch is lovely, but we didn’t use it much because of the August heat. One small upgrade to consider would be replacing some of the worn bath towels and washcloths, and providing more kitchen towels to dry dishes. The other very unexpected and most appreciated (we were traveling with two grandbabies) provision was that there were box fans in most of the bedrooms. It was a fantastic stay! Thanks, Joell!

great spot on Fripp

We really enjoyed staying here. The property is just two blocks from the ocean, the porches are beautiful, the house is nice, clean and well-kept, and there is plenty of space for a large group to spread out. We would happily stay here again if we visited the island.

Highly Recommend!

We absolutely enjoy every part of our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed all the outdoor deck space the house provided. The outdoor shower made trips back from the beach a breeze! The beach access is very close to the house. It is just a short walk or golf cart ride. The host, Joell was very helpful and kind! Overall the house was very welcoming and comfortable. We would love to come stay again. It is our favorite house on the island that we’ve stayed in!

Annual Fripp Vacation

Fripp is a great island for a vacation. This rental was nice. Would have liked a gas grill. Owners were very nice to work with.

Nice get away, not so nice golf cart experience

Fripp is a wonderful place for a quiet and peaceful vacation. We had a few issues with our golf cart however. First of all the cart we had reserved (a month prior to our trip) from CCC was NEVER delivered. With 10 people, we really needed 2. The first few days required several back and forth trips to the beach. CCC continually promised to deliver the cart but never did. After almost 3 full days the home owner did have a cart delivered from another company. We just lost out on those 3 days. I would never consider using CCC and after reading their reviews I understand others had the same issue. On the first full day of having a second golf cart, one was taken while we were at the pool! I reported it to security and the homeowner. We were never contacted by security or given help resolving the issue. We were told it is a very common occurrence since the carts look alike and are all keyed the same. Still no help when you are left without a cart. We found what we thought was our cart later that evening at the pool so we did finally have a second cart but not because of help from security. We 'marked" our cart by leaving a ribbon tided to it. I would recommend marking your cart if you rent one. Take bug spray too! Mosquitoes are savage! Several were even in the downstairs apartment shower. We will return to Fripp in the future only this time we will be better prepared for these type of mishaps. You don't want to spend vacation dealing with any issues but Fripp is wonderful!

Lovely home in a perfect location

I stayed at this home in July 2016 with four generations of family members. My dad celebrated his 85th birthday during our stay and enjoyed time at the beach with his 3- and 5-year old great-grandsons. The separate apartment was the perfect layout for my parents to escape from the very active main house and be able to come and go without help with stairs. The apartment has a flat screen TV, large stainless steel refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. The main house is laid out well with lots of space to spread out, and a kitchen that accommodated daily extensive dinners. The bedrooms and baths are large and well appointed. The beds are very comfortable, and plenty of blankets and extra pillows are stored in the large closets. The house is centrally located in a quiet neighborhood. A short walk/golf cart ride to the pools, bar, and restaurant and a three-minute golf cart ride to beach access on Rock Beauty Road. The yard is gorgeous - full of natural plants and beautiful trees which keep the extensive porches shady and cool. We spotted deer and raccoons, and some beautiful red tanagers in the trees in the backyard. Save the space in your car for the trip to Fripp - you won't need beach towels, toys, or chairs - there are plenty stowed in the large outdoor storage locker. The complimentary golf cart was a nice addition - we rented a second one for our parents - and helped keep costs down. I highly recommend this home for your Fripp vacation. Thanks to the owners for sharing your home with us - we will be back!

Our second visit to this lovely home...before and after the renovations. Before was beautiful and a delightful stay; after was even better. Love all the new porches and landscaping. So many beautiful touches. The house is spacious, clean and well appointed. Quiet location with easy access to everything. Some days we did lots and some days we did nothing. BEST beds on the island, btw! Sooo comfy. Thanks for sharing your lovely home😍👌

Beautiful Renovations

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home! I stayed there many years ago and the renovations are beautiful! We were there with 4 couples and it was perfect! The downstairs apartment was great--I can't wait to go back and take my elderly relatives--this apartment will make things so much easier for them. The kitchen was well stocked and made cooking so easy. There were plenty of towels and extra sheets and blankets and the golf cart was a big bonus. Thank you again for sharing.

Labor Day!

Our family of 9 and three kids (6m, 2yr. & 5) just gor back from our fabulous annual beach trip. This was our first time staying in this house and visiting Fripp Island. Both were FABULOUS! The house was very spacious and having the 2 TV's were a plus when football games were on and the kiddos wanted to watch cartoons. The golf cart was a blessing for carting all the beach gear and little ones to the beach. The location was close to everything but still on a nice and quiet street with little traffic. We cooked all meals at the house and the kitchen was fully stocked with plenty of plates, pots, pans, platters and silverware. All beds were very comfortable which led to plenty of rest to tackle the next morning! I can't wait enough great things about this house and Fripp Island. We are looking forward to renting this house again!

Spring break

Two Mothers and 5 teenage girls on spring break. The house was perfect the girls had their own apartment and we had a lovely home. Perfect house for a group or 2 families. Very clean and updated and nicely decorated. I'm telling all my friends what a great find. We love Fripp Island!
