Tucked away on 110 acres of stunning Catskill Mountain landscape, this charming log cabin awaits any family looking for a mountain getaway. A beautiful and private spring-fed pond lies directly on the property where you can take the row boat out, jump right in for a swim, or ice skate during the winter. Ease your ski-sore muscles in the outdoor hot tub by the gas-barbecue, wood stove, and fire pit. Let the naturalist in you come out as you explore the river that borders the property or hike one of the several trails, all of which are private and lead straight back to the main property.

Must be 25 years of age to rent this property.


Also with children's tree house next to home. New additions to the property include: newly renovated wrap around patio, air conditioning, expanded hot tub area, and new sun deck.

The cabin was cozy and the hot tub was great! We loved exploring the property on the marked trails.
We received 9 inches of snow, and the driveway was promptly plowed

The host was quick to answer any questions we had prior to our stay. The outdoor space was exactly what we were looking for and the reason we booked. Secluded and peaceful! The indoor space was perfect for family gathering and had everything we needed for cooking. Small town was a quick drive. 4 stars instead of 5 only bc it was a bit dusty. Looking forward to a future stay!

Wonderful week in a gorgeous setting!

Our extended family spent a great week at this fabulous property hiking the trails, exploring the creek, swimming and boating in the pond, relaxing in the hot tub, and enjoying the views in every direction. The house is large and comfortable, accommodating ten people and one dog without feeling crowded. The week flew by, and we look forward to returning!

Secluded and relaxing

We enjoyed our stay. The property is huge with lots to do with kids. The house easily fit all of us with room to spare. It was a great location to spend quality time together and enjoy the outdoors.

Perfect getaway for relaxing and no stress

So my family, friends and I have been getting away for years on a group vacation. This place was one of our favorites! The privacy, serenity and quaintness of the home and property were just what we needed. The bedrooms weee all comfy and the great room was perfectly accommodating. The hot tub was right on the deck n just feet from the front door. We took walks and the trails were beautiful. There’s a grocery store and other options just within several miles. The owners were very clear about directions and very easy to follow. Highly recommend for a little R and R.

Family Vacation

Pond and stream are excellent hangout spots. The house is perfect for five couples. Front porch is a wonderful place to enjoy your coffee in the morning The host's were excellent.

Good Vacation

This property is very well kept up, spacious, and the view from the porch is idyllic. The owner and property manager were very responsive to our needs. We really got away from it all, and enjoyed our family time together.

Idyllic Catskill Experience

My family celebrated my father’s 80th birthday in this lovely cabin with a perfect Catskill setting. It had everything- winding trails, a stream, a large pond, wildlife including a flock of kingfishers, a mountain view, and a grand scale porch to see it all from. The cabin easily accommodated ten adults and worked well for my sibling in a wheelchair (he used a walker to get up the 4-5 steps onto the porch). Thank you for making this wonderful place available, we hope to visit again.

Great Mountain Retreat

Our family enjoyed this expansive property with excellent views from the beautiful front porch. The living room was a very nice gathering spot for playing games and watching movies. It was very nice to have Windham close by for restaurants. We enjoyed using the pond and exploring the hiking trails. The owners were very quick to respond to our questions.

Great Mother’s Day Weekend

We had a wonderful time at the cabin. You get all the benefits of camping and being outdoors along with all the comforts of home. Nick was great to deal with and quick to respond to any questions. We will definitely stay again.

Perfect cabin in the woods

Could not have found a better place! The property owners went out of their way to make the cabin available on short notice, kids had a blast and keep asking to skip school for a few more days. We went for the skiing at hunter, conditions were terrible but we didn’t Care at all, the cabin more than made up for it! We’ll be back…

Trip to Windham for a wedding

Terrific property. Gorgeous views and amenities. Our family had a great time, hiking, boating and fishing, even doing some icebath’s in the stream. House was clean, warm, and cozy. Kitchen was fairly stocked and had everything we needed. The owner was very responsive with our questions. Will definitely rebook.

Amazing, Beautiful, and Peaceful Cabin

Highly recommened staying at this cabin! The cabin is beautiful amd has everything you need for a perfect week including a clean and refreshing pond, beautiful trails that lead right back to the cabin and an amazing stream in the woods next to the house with hammocks to enjoy the peaceful woods. The hot tub was amazing and was serviced to ensure cleanliness and safety. The host was also highly responsive throughout the week to help us with all of our questions. My family and I had an amazing week and will definitely stay again :)

Glorious mountain getaway

Nick and Pat's home was a perfect fit for our family get-together in the Catskills. It's a true log cabin with three floors of living space -- plenty of room for us (parents, four adult kids in their 20s, and a soon-to-be daughter-in-law) to enjoy games, meals, and conversation without ever feeling cramped, plus three full bathrooms. And outdoors was even better! The huge property is gorgeous and full of nature's surprises. We swam in the pond, explored meadows and woods, basked in miniature waterfalls, and saw herons, hawks, rabbits, deer, and even a bear. While the home feels hidden, groceries and other supplies are just a 10-minute (incredibly scenic) drive away. We loved every minute and hope to return.

A relaxing and picturesque family vacation

Our family, including sisters and adult children spent a week at this beautiful cabin very comfortably. There were 8 adults in all and it was wonderful to have such a huge dining table to sit around for meals and a large great room to hang out in. This is a lovely house with wonderful decor that added to our experience. The entire grounds of the property were gorgeous. We enjoyed just sitting on the porch drinking our morning coffee, fishing and boating on the pond, hiking around the grounds and relaxing in the hot tub or around the campfire. We have stayed at other rental homes and this one by far had the best equipped kitchen. Windham itself is a cute little town with numerous restaurants and there were many activities in the area to enjoy including the North South State Park and the scenic sky lift at Hunter Mountain.

Beautiful Cabin

Our group (three families with small kids) had a great week long stay at the cabin. The house is beautiful and spacious with plenty of rooms and gathering places inside and out to relax and hang out. The property is beautifully maintained and we spent the majority of our stay enjoying the weather and views from the huge wrap around porch. The highlight of our trip was spending time at the river which the kids loved. With the hot weather, the river was clean, refreshing, easy to access, and shallow enough for the kids to wade in and explore. We would book this house again!
