The Plantation is a family oriented resort with 24 hour security. Along with the beautiful sandy beach, we enjoy six swimming pools, one of which is heated during winter months and also an indoor facility with heated pool, saunas and exercise room. For those who enjoy tennis or basket ball we have four courts and a full court basketball court. Horse shoes and shuffle board are available for those who choose a less strenuous activity. If you are an avid golfer the Kiva Dunes golf course is right next door, you don't even have to leave the resort and can come home for lunch.
There are several restaurants and sports bars in the area so we don't have to travel to Gulf shores for our meals. A harbor that provides chartered fishing trips along with pontoon boat rentals and jet ski rentals is just down the road from our resort. If you get tired of the peaceful setting and would like to go down town it is a nice fifteen minute drive to Gulf Shores.

Great getaway

We loved the location. Not too busy, but still close enough to grocery shopping and restaurants if we needed to grab something. Beaches we amazing and beach access was extremely convenient.

Christmas visit to the Plantation

We enjoyed our visit to this property. It was a great place to get away for a few days after the Christmas holiday. The condo was clean and well furnished. Communication with the owner was fast and easy.

Wonderful condo

Enjoyed staying in this condo this week with my daughter and grandson. Condo was excellent. Very clean and nice to stay in. Close to elevator and pool!! Will definitely hope to be back again

So fun!

Property was great for our baseball team! We all stayed in different units but could easily walk to meet each other, walk to dinner, and of course the BEACH!

Perfect beach vacation

This was our first trip to the Gulf Shores area, and it won't be our last. The condo at the Plantation was the perfect location.....easy access to the uncrowded beach, and just a short, easy drive into town. The two bedroom, two bath suite was perfectly sized for our family of 5. We loved sitting on the balcony! We would definitely stay at this property again.

Awesome getaway

My boys and I really enjoyed our stay at this condo. We went to the indoor pool to escape the heat, it was nice to have that option. It was clean and well represented. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a peaceful place to stay.

Wonderful!!

We had such a great time! The beach is just a short alk away as is the outdoor and indoor pool, Gulf Shores stores are about 15- 20 min. away and there is a fully stocked Dollar Gen. Store about a mile away. The condo is decorated so cute and has everything you will need!

Great location, clean and comfortable

The property is great, on the beach and less crowded than places on the main strip. The condo was clean and comfortable and well equipped. I'm disabled and was able to park right next to the handicap ramp which was right next to the elevator and the condo. It was also a very easy walk to the beach and the pools. I highly recommend this property and the owner is a great guy and good to work with. I will stay here again.

Family vacation at plantation Gulf Shores, Alabama

We had a fantastic time. Although the condo was small, it was perfect! We were there for the beach and with it being right outside the size of the condo didn’t matter at all. It was very clean and comfortable. The owners, Rodney and Sheryl, were very quick To get back to us about our issue with the Wi-Fi. It was actually An error on our part.

Beautiful resort, condo needs some upgrades

Plantation East is a lovely but older resort. It was quiet and the other guests were friendly. The condo needs some refreshing and updating but was clean. The king bed was a bit uncomfortable, may need a new mattress.

Nice condo

The condo was clean and comfortable. The property is alittle older, but the condo furniture and some decor was updated. Although we did not cook dinners, it seemed to have more than enough pot, pans and utensils do so. It was a short walk to the beach and pools. We especially enjoyed the "adult" only pool! It was a quiet, family atmosphere and we would stay here again.

Easy Access to Dunes, Nature and the Beautiful Gulf of Mexico

This was a nicely updated and furnished condo, comfortable beds, well supplied kitchen, and quiet area. We enjoyed using the indoor heated pool many times. A second outdoor hot tub was completed and opened up recently. The boardwalks to the gulf were close and the facility has nice and convenient bathrooms at the outside unheated pools. This area of Gulf Shores/Fort Morgan is quiet, lovely and less crowded. It’s about 12 miles from highway 59 off Fort Morgan Rd. The beach is wonderful.

Best Beach Bargain

We have been going to the beach for many years and have to say that this is our best visit. This condo has everything you need for a relaxing, stress-free vacation. Our only problem was deciding which one of the multiple pools to visit each day. The location is great, with the beautiful white sand beach on one side and the bay on the other. We enjoyed the spectacular gulf sunsets from the balcony of this spacious unit. The owners were friendly and attentive to all our questions. We will definitely be back again, especially for the affordable prices which are unbeatable for property on the beach. We highly recommend Cheryl, Rodney, and their unit.

Family Beach Vacation

We had a great stay! Everything was very clean upon arrival. The cabinets and countertops are a little dated but in good condition. Kitchen had everything we needed for the small amount of cooking we did. The owners provided beach chairs and toys for guests to use. This was the fifth time we’ve stayed at Gulf Shores Plantation and the resort as a whole has never looked better. It looks like a lot of money was put into restoring/renovating all the buildings and amenities after the hurricane that hit a few years ago. Indoor and outdoor pools, hot tubs, sauna, fitness room, tennis/pickle ball courts, basketball court, and putting green are all included with no additional resort fee.

Great beach vacation

Great place. Beach is only steps away. Condo is a little dated but well kept and decorated nicely. Everything worked as it should. Only negative, which was known ahead of time, is there is no washer and dryer in unit, and there is only 6 bath towels, 6 face towels, and 3 kitchen towels. So if you are staying longer than two nights you will need to wash towels. However, there were washers and dryers available for a price at the end of each hallway. Overall, would definitely stay here again. I would like to thank the owners for allowing us to stay here. My family and I greatly enjoyed our stay.

Great experience

Me and the family with my friends family loved this location. It was a drive to go anywhere or get anything but it was worth it to have a more peaceful, not as jam packed beach. The beach was wonderful; thankfully this year was great without marine life or sea weed and the indoor pool afterwards was a great refresher with cool water and being inside we didn't have to reapply sunscreen. Inside the room was filled with all kinds of things, be sure to check all the cabinets because you may not have to buy what you think you may need because it's already there! It had a nice smart TV with all the apps you may need for yourself or your little ones entertainment. Overall a great experience and would come back again.

Nice and affordable stay at the beach

We had a nice stay, it was very family friendly and comfortable. There weren’t a lot of people which was really nice. It’s not fancy but exactly what we we’re looking for and needing. I recommend it if you want an affordable beach side option. Rodney is really nice and communicates well.

Ft. Morgan Plantation Condo

Wow! This unit is in a fantastic location...close to stairs, elevator, pools, beach, indoor pool and restaurants. And is shaded after 3:00 due to its southeastern view. Unit is very well equipped, TV is very simple to use, and owners are very responsive, eager to please and just plain nice! Our first trip to beach in October and it will definitely not be our last...weather was beautiful! We highly recommend this unit to anyone! Best 4 days at the beach we have ever experienced!
