We grew up on the East Coast — Boston and New York — but our paths truly came together in California, where we met, married, and raised our family. My better half was born in Honduras, and over the years we’ve made countless trips to Roatán to visit family and reconnect with the island we came to love so deeply.
As a divemaster, I’ve explored many beautiful places around the world, yet few compare to the magic of Roatán. The crystal-clear turquoise waters, vibrant coral reefs, and laid-back island spirit are captivating on their own, but having family and lifelong friends nearby made it even more special.
During one visit, we decided to casually tour a few homes with a realtor simply to learn more about the market. To our surprise, we discovered what would become our dream home — RoseMary’s Bight House.
The name holds deep meaning for us. Located beside Mangrove Bight, the home also honors our beloved mothers, Rose and Mary, whose memories continue to inspire us every day.

Despite its tranquility and privacy, everything is just moments away. We are only a two-minute walk to Half Moon Bay Beach and a short five-minute walk to the vibrant heart of West End, where you’ll find dive shops, restaurants, boutiques, and nightlife.
Our home offers the perfect balance — a quiet tropical retreat just steps from the energy and charm of island life.

One of our favorite experiences is watching the sunrise over the mountains across the Bight each morning as local fishermen head out for the day’s catch. From pelicans diving into the bay to breathtaking stargazing at night, the natural beauty here never gets old.
Guests can enjoy the convenience of being picked up directly from our private dock for excursions and activities, including water taxis to West Bay. For diving enthusiasts, several outstanding dive shops are just a short walk away.
We also provide private kayaks that can be launched right from the property, making it easy to explore the calm waters of the bay at your own pace.
And if you enjoy the nightlife of West End, you can leave the car behind and simply stroll home after an evening out.
