Woodstock mountainside retreat, nicest view in the Catskills!! RELAX!!!!

This is our custom built timber-frame post and beam home, built in 2006. Home has a certified short term rental permit from the Town of Woodstock: permit #21N-147. Home is equipped with a stone fireplace, wood stove and wood planked floors. Although there is always plenty of fresh mountain air, the home was built with a custom indoor air 'Lifebreathe System' which continually rejuvenates our home with fresh, clean outdoor air 365 days a year. In 2018, we have installed top of the line Mitsubishi Air Conditioning/Heating split units in all 3 bedrooms in addition to the great room. This non smoking home is loaded with lovely mountain decor. There is a beautiful outdoor stone fire pit surrounded by a stone patio which has a view of the mountains by day and of the spectacular ' Milky Way ' by night. This is a perfect escape for anyone.
The home is located on a private gravel road and secluded mountainside within minutes of town. It offers privacy and amazing views from virtually every room of the home. Master Bedroom has a queen sized bed, bedroom #2 has three twin beds, bedroom #3 has a queen sized bed. Great room has a full size pull out sofa. House sleeps 8.

Huge deck, stone patio, fire pit and large porch overlooking mountains, BBQ grill supplied. Cathedral ceilings and sunny open floor plan downstairs with living room, dining area, kitchen. Screened in porch with propane fire pit table overlooks mountain ranges. Relax and enjoy the wildlife of turkey, deer, bats, birds and the occasional black bear. Children can flip rocks and find numerous salamander and newts.

I had a wonderful stay at Debbieā€™s place in Bearsville. The house was exactly as advertised, and had everything needed for a comfortable relaxing weekend in the mountains. The house was super clean and the kitchen was perfectly equipped with supplies to cook if you wanted to stay in for dinner. The little town was just a short drive away and Debbie provided a helpful instructions binder with menus from local restaurants. I will definitely look to return in the summer months!

This was a girls weekend and what an amazing weekend. The house was even better than the photos. Warm and inviting with attention to detail throughout the home. It made our stay very enjoyable to feel relaxed and comfortable in this home that is in a secluded are with spectacular views of the Catskills. Itā€™s the best of both worlds, secluded yet less than 10 minutes drive to Tinker Stteet.

Great house with the most incredible views! We've stayed at this beautiful home for the past 4 years and love it more every time! You'll find everything you'll need for restful week here. If you like to stay active, there's plenty to do nearby (swimming in The Big Deep swimming hole, cycling the rail trail, hiking the many trails, exploring the village which is just a few min down the road, trying out one of the many great restaurants, listening to live music to name a few) or just stay put, roast marshmallows in the fire pit and enjoy the view of the mountains from the deck. It really IS the best view in the Catskills! The owners are wonderful hosts and are very responsive if you have any questions. We wouldn't stay anywhere else!

If you're looking for modern, this is not for you. If you are looking for charming rustic, open, inviting home with panorama postcard views, definitely book this home. 2 to 3 miles to great town of Woodstock with lots of yummy foods and boutiques. We would definitely stay here again!

3rd stay at this beautiful home. Although the weather didn't cooperate we found things to do in the area. Great local restaurants and attractions.Saw lots of deer, wild turkeys and a beaver. Love that..We will be back!!!

Fantastic Woodstock Property!

We had a wonderful stay at the house over a long weekend. The property was just as described in the listing, immaculately clean and comfortable for our stay. The location is super convenient to downtown Woodstock and surrounding hiking/outdoors interests. The cherry on top was the incredible view of the mountains from the main living room. Our whole family had a great time and will definitely stay again!

Excellent Catskills weekend

Six friends spending a long weekend together could not have found a better place for a winter getaway. The view was amazing and the house was so comfortable and well equipped. The owner was very quick to respond to all questions.

Great Sister Retreat!

We spent a wonderful week enjoying the views from the back deck, camp fires in the evening, and just cozying up with some books and crafts. Everything was absolutely wonderful and soul reviving! This property and host will not disappoint.

The house is gorgeous, the location is perfect, private, beautiful and we cannot wait to go back. The view is priceless, the cabin has everything you need, its clean, spacious and has the best upstate new york vibes. Its a hidden gem.

Weekend Getaway

This Woodstock property was perfect for my bachelor party weekend! The house was extremely clean and spacious, with a lovely view from the back deck overlooking the valley (the listing photos don't do it justice). The property is also extremely private, located at the end of a uphill drive. If you are a wildlife lover, we saw a family of black bears (mom and two cubs) walking past the house on our second night, plus visits from a red tailed hawk, barred owls, and bats. Great location from downtown Woodstock, which made popping into town quick and easy. We are already talking about our next trip here!
