Pelican Cottage - Bikes Included!

Pelican Cottage is nestled in the tranquil gated community of Leeward, on the heels of the Grace Bay area and the Grace Bay Beach, which was most recently ranked as the “The Best Beach in the World!”. Our cottage is a short 5 minute walk to Salt, Fire and Ice restaurant, Leeward Cafe Market, a Spa and a Convenient Store, to name a few. The upscale Leeward beach and marina community is within a 5 minute drive to the Grace Bay shopping and restaurant district, with about two dozen businesses, including a large grocery store, banks, liquor store, café, phone company, and bookstore.
Pelican cottage is ideally situated within an 8 minute walk or a 3 minute drive to four of the most spectacular beaches in Providenciales, Pelican Beach, Grace Bay Beach, Sunset Beach and Emerald Beach. Pelican Beach being the closest is about a 5 mins walk from the cottage and is located on the eastern end of Grace Bay. All beaches are public and parking is free.
Our community is security patrolled and monitored, safe for jogging, walking, cycling, snorkeling, beach combing or simply relaxing and taking it all in.

Great host, and perfect vacation spot. Loved convenience of having car for rental. Also appreciate having beach chairs and beach towels available. Our host Pam was very welcoming and helpful. The guest house is clean and it has everything we needed for pleasant stay.

A relaxing spot

This is a very nice place to getaway from it all. Located in a quiet residential area away from the normal beach crowd. We were disappointed that the bikes were not in useable condition as that was an attraction for booking this. It is a bit far of a walk to the closest beach. You really need a car here. The property was well equipped, but both the beach umbrella and chairs need replacing.

Wonderful ...once you find it!

Other than the given address being incorrect, we loved Pelican Cottage and had a fabulous time in Provo. The actual address of the cottage is 7B Leeward Green Court, not 7 Caravel as the listing states.Thank goodness for Rashan from the Leeward Settlement security company who drove around with us after dark trying to find the property!Location was great, kitchen, shower, beach supplies and comfortable bed were exactly what we needed! Note there is an active construction site at the property directly next door. We were gone most of the day so it didn't bother us.Depending on your needs as travellers, would recommend and we would stay there again!

Cute cottage! With bonus construction site next door!

Gold medal for: Cute cottage in a very nice neighborhood. Small but excellent floor plan. Very clean. Great location, within biking distance to beautiful beaches. Host who communicated quickly via email. Three star rating because of: It took us over two hours, many calls and the terrific assistance of a local resident to find the cottage. The adress listed (Caravel 7) is wrong (the house is on 7 Leeward Green Court!) and the contact phone number was disconnected! But here's the real kicker! How about some extra compressor and excavator noise for breakfast, lunch and dinner? Fortunately, you can spend hours at dream beaches; you can go on day trips. At some point, though, you want to go home...only to find out the construction crew is pouring concrete until 8:30 p.m. We enjoyed our precious vacation just the same. Lovely island, lovely people!

Pelican Cottage

Pelican cottage was quaint and suited our needs Pelican Beach / Leeward beach were walking distance . We did not receive the arrival itinerary when we arrived in Turks in Caicos other than the address of 7 Caravel Ave This address is incorrect as our taxi driver drove us around for over 1/2 hour trying to find this address The address is actually 7B Leeward Green Court which is just off Caravel Ave We reached out the the rental agency for Pelican Cottage and there were no responses ???? The taxi driver could keep driving us around so we asked him to take us to Grace Way Gourmet where we tried to get some assistance from the locals. Finally the rental agency reached out to us and came and picked us up and brought us to Pelican Cottage. They offered 1 free day car rental which was a nice gesture and we used the rental car for 2 days. We were very frustrated with the lack of communication at the beginning which puts the start of a vacation on a negative note. Both VRBO and the owner need to fix the address that is being used for Pelican Cottage

This is a perfect spot a short 10 min drive north of Grace Bay. Charming efficiency cottage

I arrived at TCI a few days ahead of my grandkids for a little “me” time that would not “break the bank” and Pelican Cottage met all my expectations. Charmingly designed with a full kitchen, bath with shower, queen bed, screened in porch and TV sitting area, internet and loaner cell phone. Pamela, the property manager, was just a phone call away to answer any questions. There was nothing left to want. I took advantage of the free cruiser bike to tour around the Leeward end of Provo, enjoyed the quiet of the beaches away from the Grace Bay hub bub, the beautiful marina and peace of this residential area. Yet you are a quick 10 minute drive to all the day and nightlife of Grace Bay should you so desire! A car is not absolutely necessary but probably advisable as taxi fares run $25 roughly each way in and out of Grace Bay. The inter island ferry service is located at this end of the island so you can take daytrips to North and East Caicos. Take a bike and see the quiet of those less populated islands. Highly recommend this property if you don’t have to be situated right on the beach.

Perfect for 2 water lovers

We had a great time! After calling the property management contact for directions, we met Esther upon arrival and she gave us the WIFI security code. The cottage is very comfortable and was in close proximity to the SCUBA dive operation that we chose. A rental car is a necessity to get around. The bikes were a fun option to explore the surrounding neighborhood and Pelican Beach. The property is well-maintained and feels like a home away from home. Highly recommend for a couple looking to stay without the expense of an all-inclusive resort!

Hidden Gem

This was my first trip I took all alone and the property was perfect for that. I felt I had privacy and was generally safe. The beach was easy to access. Pam was so amazing to have helped me book my car (which you should definitely have to get around in Grace Bay) and even tried to help me find somewhere else to stay when I decided to extend my trip. I can’t say enough about that woman’s heart. Thank you for a great and affordable stay!

Great Stay

Pam's cottage was great. It was perfect for me. I love the location in Leeward, but you should have a car. Bikes are available for use, but having a car makes it easier to grab groceries and explore. I had an issue while there. Tekarrah from Pam's team was on it immediately, and resolved it as quickly as possible. She continually checked in to see how my trip was, and was always available if I had questions. I would definitely rent this cottage again.

Wonderful experience at Pelican Cottage

My wife and I had a great vacation in TCI which in part was due to our stay at Pelican Cottage! The location and surrounding area was perfect. Pam was more than accommodating and made sure all our needs were taken care of! We would definitely go back!

Great location

This cottage was just a described. We had a pick up at the airport arranged by Pam and We utilized the rental car offered through the property and it was a very easy process. The rental car was at the cottage when we arrived. The bikes are a great touch we used them every morning to explore the community which is a must! Overall the cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed’

Nice cottage in remote Providenciales location

Nicely decorated small cottage in backyard of residential house w kitchen, bed, bathroom. Living room space rather small, but ok for 1-2 persons. WLAN excellent. Aircon quiet and cool. Be aware: You need your own car in this area. Nearby marina hotel/restaurant does not allow anymore external guest to have breakfast or lunch/dinner there. Sole place to get food ist marina coffee shop with pretty limited offers = you need a car to drive to Grace Bay area for supplies, restaurants etc..

Pam and Takeharah were wonderful. Was fun to ride a bike to and from the beach...and around town. Beaches and Ocean were the nicest I've ever seen.

Comfortable place and great host

Easy check in, the host arranged our transportation from the airport and we actually negotiated a check in that was a bit early so I could get settled for a conf call that I had to do last minute. Great stay, nice place, had everything we needed and more!

Perfect cottage for the two of us

The Pelican Cottage was exactly as advertised. A perfect place for the two of us. Nicely appointed and outfitted with everything we needed — including snorkel gear, beach chairs and bikes. Pam arranged for our transport from the airport and even helped us with a quick trip to the grocery store to get breakfast supplies. She even had the rental car delivered to our doorstep the next morning. The Leeward Beach is easily accessible by bike. The rental car allowed us to venture out for dinners and several excursions to Smith’s Reef for great snorkeling right off the beach. Altogether a lovely stay!

I’ll be back!

From the initial booking to the morning of checkout, everything went smoothly and was handled in a friendly, professional, timely manner. The property manager, Pam, made sure I had all the information I needed to make my stay PERFECT! If you’re looking for a cozy, quiet spot just a short bike ride to the beach and Blue Haven Marina then I’d recommend the Pelican Cottage every time!

perfect little quiet get a way

This is a cute little cottage located behind the owners home. It is perfect for two people who enjoy cooking a few meals and having some seclusion from the hectic crowds at the beach. It is a very reasonable value, everything you need, and a WONDERFUL host ( the best ever!), who goes above and beyond to make everything you need is available. In fact the amenities ( great shampoos/conditioners/cream, ice chest, snorkeling equipment, grill, cooking utensils, etc - all available). Any deficiencies you may encounter, are quickly and completely remedied by the owner. Enjoy your time here - I think you'll enjoy it as much as we did.

Wonderful little cottage

The cottage was perfect. It had everything we needed! We came to dive, and the cottage is about a 10 minute drive from the dive shop in Grace Bay - so it was perfect. The diving in Turks & Caicos is some of the best we've every done! Pam was wonderful - helpful and attentive - but left us our space. We'll definitely be back!

So much packed into a perfectly located cottage.

Pelican Cottage was the perfect location with everything we needed. Pamela greeted us and set us us with everything we could want. I stingy recommend Pelican Cottage, especially if you are going to take hike-boarding lessons.

Over 11 years ago I moved to the Turks and Caicos Islands from my native land, Guyana, for a job opportunity. I did not know what to expect as I had heard very little about the Turks and Caicos Islands, and now that I am here I am not sure any prior knowledge would have suffice. On descend I was overwhelmed by various shades of the most vibrant blue waters I had ever seen, which was followed by friendly faces and bright smiles. With a background in hospitality from cooking to home attendance, I have been blessed to not only enjoy these beautiful by nature Islands and its beautiful people but to also live the experience through the eyes of others. There is truth to the saying “there is no place like home” however you will find Turks and Caicos a welcomed home away from home.

I am passionate about people and service and eager to share these amazing Islands with all who stop by. It would be my pleasure to assist you with your visit to the Turks and Caicos Islands and your stay at Pelican Cottage.
