LOCATION:

Punta Aguila 61 is located at the exclusive Casa de Campo Resort in La Romana, the Dominican Republic.

Casa de Campo Resort is a large, gated resort & residential community with 24-hour gated entrance and security.

Since the resort’s opening in 1974 as the first resort in the Dominican Republic, Casa de Campo Resort & Villas has been a favorite luxury destination for discerning travelers and celebrities from all over the world. Known as the best golf resort, the 3 Pete Dye golf courses include Teeth of the Dog, which is ranked as one of the top golf courses in the Caribbean.

This incredible 7,000-acre resort, located in La Romana on the southeast coast of the Dominican Republic, is a tropical playground that features a unique variety of amenities and a private beach club with swimming pools at Minitas Beach. Casa de Campo is also home to many gourmet dining options, fantastic bars, and Altos de Chavón – a one-of-a-kind 16th-century replica Mediterranean village.

La Romana airport is located five minutes from the resort. Punta Cana Airport is located about a 45-minute drive from the resort and Santo Domingo Airport is about 1 hour away.

THE SPACE:

Punta Aguila 61 is a large, 10.000 sq. ft. Moroccan-style villa reminiscent of something out of an old Hollywood movie. This extravagant 6-bedroom, 6 1/2 bath, 2-story villa is perfect for travelers seeking privacy and comfort in a stylish setting.

Enter the villa through 10-foot Arab-styled arched doors, and step into the double-height foyer, which leads directly to the living room. This is an amazing place to entertain indoors or lounge in the elegant white sofas and chairs. There’s a large terrace just off the living room with a ping-pong table and sun loungers.

The villa is decorated throughout with precious solid 2” Angelim wood doors and floors, and porcelain/coral/brick finishes, Moroccan lamps, chandeliers, luxurious furnishings and unique artwork. Every room seems to have been picked from the cover of a magazine!

Next to the living room is the TV/media room, a comfortable space with a comfortable sofas, a projector and screen. Close the curtains to make this your private cinema and bring in the popcorn!

Walk out through dramatic arches into a Marrakesh-styled courtyard that opens out to a large free-form, resort-style infinity pool with a large island Jacuzzi and peninsula gazebo. This is one of the most impressive pools you’ll ever find in a private villa!

You’ll find plenty of additional sitting areas around the patio, which are both covered and uncovered. The dining room invites you to enjoy your meals in a formal and stylish setting – or you can enjoy your meals at one of the outdoor dining areas for a more relaxed atmosphere.

There is also an open-air covered balcony looking out over the top floor, which functions as an entertainment space and has a TV, a chess table, a pool table, a card table, and a small collection of books.

The spacious kitchen comes with a half-moon shaped island, Viking appliances and is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare delicious meals during your vacation – AND the villa rental includes a cook, so you don’t have to do a thing (food and beverages are not included).

The villa has a private fitness room with cardio machines, and weights for when you need to burn off a few calories.

The outdoor gazebo located next to the pool is a wonderful place to relax, watch TV, enjoy a meal or maybe indulge in a massage ($). And if you’re looking for the ultimate place to hide away during the day or watch the stars at night, the villa has a secret rooftop terrace with tables and chairs.

THE BEDROOMS:

Punta Aguila 61 has 6 large bedrooms, including 2 primary suites. There are 4 bedrooms downstairs and 2 bedrooms upstairs.

Bedroom 1 (downstairs): The primary suite with 1 King bed, air-conditioning, 2 red love seats, mini bar area with mini fridge, TV, closet, and ensuite bathroom with shower, and a heart-shaped tub.

Bedroom 2 (downstairs) with 2 Queen beds, air-conditioning, ceiling fan, TV, 2 love seats, closet, ensuite bathroom with 2 showers and a tub, and a small terrace with table and chairs.

Bedroom 3 (downstairs) with 1 King bed, air-conditioning, an armchair, TV, closet, dresser, a mini fridge, and an ensuite bathroom with shower and a tub.

Bedroom 4 (downstairs) with 1 King bed, air-conditioning, ceiling fan, TV, closet, dresser, table and chairs, a mini fridge, a small terrace, and an ensuite bathroom with shower.

Bedroom 5 (upstairs): The 2nd primary suite with 1 King bed, air-conditioning, desk and chair, TV, closet, mini fridge, and an ensuite bathroom with shower, and a tub.

Bedroom 6 (upstairs) with 1 King bed, air-conditioning, large leather lounge seats and ottoman, TV, a daybed, closet, ensuite bathroom with a shower, and a private balcony with table, chairs, and outdoor tub.

VILLA STAFF:

Cook: Your private Spanish-speaking cook will prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner to be enjoyed at the villa (groceries are not included). The cook may reside on the property in a separate living area.

Butler: The Spanish-speaking butler can serve drinks, and food, and generally helps around the house. The butler may reside on the property in a separate living area.

Housekeeper: The Spanish-speaking housekeeper will clean the villa, make the beds, wash towels and linens (usually every 3rd day). We do not offer personal laundry service. The housekeeper may reside on the property in a separate living area.

Villa Manager: You’ll also have an English- and Spanish-speaking villa manager available during your stay. This is your go-to person for any questions or if you need any services that you haven’t booked before your arrival. The villa manager will greet you when you arrive at the villa, check you in, and will be available daily throughout your entire stay.

PLEASE NOTE: A separate rental agreement with house rules must be signed to complete the booking process. All villa guests must be registered with Casa de Campo Resort before arrival. No outside guests are allowed.

The villa owners have a pet monkey at the rear of the property. The monkey is housed in a cage for its (and your) safety and well-being. Please note that approaching or interacting with the monkey is strictly prohibited!
