We absolutely loved our stay! The cabin was wonderful-comfortable, peaceful, and exactly the kind of getaway we were hoping for. The property is beautiful and so relaxing, and our dogs had the best time exploring and enjoying the river. It was the perfect place to slow down, unwind, and enjoy some quiet time away. We truly enjoyed everything about our stay and are already looking forward to coming back. We will definitely return!

The cabin is a great getaway. The house is set up well for kids and pets. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the gadgets and pans you would need. The host is very responsive. The only two issues we ran into was that the cabin could have been a bit cleaner and the jet tub was not working. The owner did say they are working on fixing the tub but it wasn't fixed during our stay.

This was our third time staying here and once again, the cabin was perfect. The dogs loved both the front porch and the back deck as well as the dog run. We loved the river access and the fishing. It was a much needed relaxing get-a-way. Can't wait to come back!

We absolutely loved our stay! The property is beautiful, peaceful, and the river access was our favorite part. The fenced dog run was a huge bonus and made traveling with our Rottweiler so much easier. We also appreciated all the dog supplies provided inside the house—it was such a thoughtful touch. The home had everything we needed, and the owners were incredibly kind, responsive, and easy to communicate with. We had an amazing weekend and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Great property and hosts. My friend and I stayed here on our annual canoe fishing trip on the Shenandoah River and were very pleased with the house. It was very clean and was very well laid out for our needs. The host, Andy, very responsive and friendly. The fishing above and below the house is very good and it was easy enough to fish by canoe up and down river about a quarter mile or so. A great overall experience. We will be back for sure! Blake

Was very happy with the property. Had a great time with my family. My mom was looking forward to trying the jacuzzi tub. But I guess it has been broke for a while. That was the only part that didn't match the listing. Beautiful property would love to stay again.

This cabin was excellent for our quick 3-day get away. Loved the location but as described it is remote so if you don't like remote this place may not be for you. Water access was awesome and the entire cabin was clean and inviting. Bonus for us was the fenced in dog run right off the back deck to keep our two small pups safe and secure. We will definitely be back. Many Thanks to our hosts Andy & Becky, they were very easy to reach and communicated almost immediately when we had questions!

Wonderful stay. Cabin was easy to access, clean and private. Our dog enjoyed all of the space outside to run around. Overall was exactly as listed and would stay for longer next time as there is alot of outdoor activities to do in the area.

My husband and I spent an extended weekend for our anniversary at this beautiful cabin. The cabin was cozy, with a convenient doggie run, a large screened in porch where we had our coffee in the morning and a fabulous deck that overlooked a spectacular view of the river. My husband and I loved our stay and will definitely be spending our next anniversary there again!

The cabin was a great fit for me, because I wanted a small vay-kay. I brought my pup and a friend, and we all had a relaxed and peaceful time. I wish the TV in the bedroom worked, and the upstairs bedroom didn't have a TV at all; however, that can be considered a benefit. I would stay there again in a heartbeat! BR

We loved the property but the furniture in the main sitting area is stained, especially the chair. The upstairs bedroom also had a pillowcase that looked like it was used to dust something off with. Outdoor area is where we spent most of our time, and it was gorgeous. Several bald eagles, a baby fox, birds galore.

We had a fantastic time here. Andy was super communicative and the house was really well stocked for our getaway. The property was fantastic for our dogs to run around and play while we hung out by the river. We cannot say enough good things about Andy and his property. We’ll certainly be back when the weather warms up!

Very pet friendly. Would be OK for a staycation, but if you want to explore the area like we did, you have to be prepared for a 30 minute drive just to get to a main road. Over 5 miles of that is on unpaved roads. The cabin is well stocked, but could definitely use some updating and a deep clean. We were also disappointed that it was such a steep hike down to the river.

We are sorry you didn't enjoy your stay as much you would have liked. We are a cabin that allows people to "get away from it all". We can't change the location, but we do have stairs and a handrail for ease of getting to the bottom lot, and you can drive down the access road as we mentioned if it becomes too difficult to walk down and back up the stairs from the river. While I'm sure all cabins could use a "deep clean", we will continue to ensure that our cleaning crew maintans the cabin so that guests have the cleanest cabin possible.
