The Perfect Place for Making Memories

We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with 15 other family members at Casa Coco. The rooms are so nice, good air conditioning, and plenty of room. The common places are varied and plentiful so we could be together (sunsets on the deck by the cliff) or find a nitch in the pool or hanging chairs. I had planned with the staff some wonderful excursions including a sunset catamaran cruise, trip to Chitchen Itza, and a snorkel trip. All came off beautifully. We also had a party outdoors for our anniversary -- guitarist, special food and wine, and decorations. We came back inside for an evening of hilarious entertainment by our guests. Staff were there to help with everything. We knew that the chef would prepare breakfast each morning and it was always scrumptious, and we contracted for 4 evening meals. We had enough food left over that along with stocking the kitchen and kitchen privileges we didn't have to go out for dinner unless we wanted to. There are great restaurants on the island. What I appreciated was that we had the intimacy of a family house with the service and convenience of a hotel. I cannot say enough about Anna, Elihud, Paul, Kevin and the others who helped us make our great memories.

Magical Birthday Party!

We stayed at Casa Coco for my 60th birthday. There were 12 of us. It was exactly what I had dreamed it would be. The house, view, food and staff were outstanding. They were attentive to our every need. As soon as I asked for something they were right there to help. The chef cooked us really tasty breakfasts with a smile. We also had him cook us a surf and turf dinner which was better than some of the finest restaurants I have been to. They arranged for us to have a classic rock band for my birthday, who were really good. The pictures don't do it justice. They pulled out all the stops and treated us as I would have treated my guests in my own home. It was really 5 star treatment. My guests and I were all really pleased. I'd do it again in a heartbeat!

Luxurious Oceanfront Oasis

My spouse and I are seasoned travelers with a ton of time logged over the last two decades staying in vacation villas around Mexico and the Caribbean. In February 2020, when I was looking for a place to celebrate a milestone birthday with 10 close friends, the stakes were even higher than usual, to find a place that could really hit it out of the park for a special occasion. I write about food and travel for a living. I can have exacting, unrealistic standards. I spent weeks upon weeks kicking the tires on villa listingsā€”cross-referencing user reviews, quizzing property managersā€”having learned from experience that you can hide a lot of flaws behind a gallery of high-toned professional photographs of sunsets and margarita closeups. Does the wifi work? Right, but does it work in this suite in the back? How cold does the air conditioner get? Is the beach out front swimmable? Can I get fresh fish or is it mostly frozen? Do you have a good mariachi band on speed-dial? Once we chose Casa Coco, the property staff patiently and competently worked with me to customize a week of celebration, and when we finally arrived at the property, it turned out to be everything I'd hoped for. Every one of the suites was beautifully appointed and clean, the common areas and setting were even more stunning than in the pictures, and the food and drink provided by the villa chef were excellent. (We opted for daily breakfast, plus a few scattered lunches and dinners...and cooked in ourselves or dined out the other meals.) For one meal we cooked ourselves, the villa manager helped us source some snapper from a local fisherman (fried fish tacos!), and for the actual birthday dinner, they set up a table under the stars overlooking the water: grilled whole lobsters with garlic butter, green pipian mole with chicken, hand-cut fries, flan napoletana, Champagne and wine and frosty glasses of tequila, culminating in a perfformance my mariachis and fire dancers! The villa was secluded enough, but just a short golf cart ride away (we rented three carts for the week) from the thrum of mid-island. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

Amazing 50th birthday celebration at Casa Coco!

Everything was absolutely wonderful. The house, location, rooms, staff, amenities - all of it was perfect. We were a group of 20 celebrating my 50th birthday. The concierge Emma was amazing - making all my requests happen - from the golf carts, pre-stocked refrigerator, chefs, bartenders, private boat taxi and shuttle arrangements, to my birthday yacht - it all happened seamlessly. Hire the chef Eliud for amazing dinners, and Miquel for your bartender! And the sunsets!!! Oh my word. Best birthday ever.

The house was very clean! The staff was amazing! The food they prepared so good.

Kayaks and paddleboard on property for use every day. You can take the paddleboardā€˜s down to the tall friend in counter and watch from the ocean. They even did our laundry for us. Bartender made amazing drinks. Cannot say enough about how The staff went out of their way to accommodate our request. We were traveling with a group of 22 people and they made it so easy. Thank you so much for making the trip such a success!

Gorgeous property! Perfect for large groups.

We stayed at Casa Coco for 4 nights to celebrate my 40th birthday with 8 other couples. The staff was very accommodating, the views were amazing, and the beach area next to the house was perfect. The chef that took care of our breakfast each morning was wonderful and it was great to gather each morning as a group to tell stories of the night before. We had massages one day and yoga instruction on the roof of the house two days that was a great and challenging experience. I hope to have a reason to book this home again! The only thing negatives experienced was the wifi wasn't working and the water pressure became an issue or last night but they got it working within the hour of our notification.

A birthday to remember!

We rented this house so our daughter could celebrate her birthday with her friends. It could not have been more perfect. The house and property had everything you could imagine - they wanted for nothing. Hiring the chef as Jeffrey and Emma suggested was the best decision for a large group - the food was delicious!! Jeffrey and Emma are very good communicators and arranged multiple activities for the group. They made it very easy to just enjoy the experience. Highly recommend!

Simply Magical

Casa Coco provided myself and my women's retreat group with an absolutely unparalleled experience. The property was designed to facilitate wonderful energy and flow throughout the property. (We enjoyed using every little gorgeous bit of Casa Coco!) Our morning yoga sessions on the rooftop palapa were spectacular! Perfect Caribbean breezes, paired with the ideal natural light fixtures and the blue blue caribbean blue water as our back drop made watching the sunrise and having our yoga class an absolute treat! Each breakfast provided by the Casa Coco private chef Monse was delicious and artful. Her humble/gracious manner was endearing and the way she and her assistants tended to the food restrictions in the group was so very impressive. The rooms! The rooms were luxurious in an understated and tasteful way - with original art adorning may of the smooth brushed concrete pristine white walls. It gave the villa, with its flowing sheer draperies a dreamy mediterranean feel, especially when paired with the beautiful tiling sprinkled throughout. The choices for upholstery complimented that same theme with playful patterns and soothing blues. We all enjoyed the infinity pool and 100% reveled on the deck perched on the rocky cliff area adorned with wicker couches w/ comfy cushions overlooking the ocean. Our group also really enjoyed the special sandy beach created to provide some shade, and offering a grouping of oversized bean bag chairs. We would come together in the evenings there after sunset to meditate, laugh and enjoy the stars with the lapping water behind us (not to mention during the day to enjoy the beautiful scenery and sunny climate). The main area of Casa Coco was where we held our daily workshops. Casa Coco staff did a superb job of arranging (& rearranging) the space to accommodate our groups needs. The staff was incredibly sensitive and conscientious about providing absolute privacy when we asked for it. Impressive. I have been coming to Isla for 25 years, at least 1 time per year. And I have been doing retreats there since 2009. Casa Coco was far and away the best property to hold such an intimate and pampered experience. The owners Jeffrey and Bridget were incredible to work with and the management team was top notch - with all concierge details and their professionalism. Customer service was A+ and it made all the difference for me as the retreat organizer. Casa Coco is where we will be every year.

Absolutely Fantastic

We had the nicest time at Casa Coco. The original plan was to go to the British Virgin islands for my husbands birthday. Hurricane Irma messed up those plans. So at the last minute I found Casa Coco on VRBO. Honestly, the pictures don't even do it justice. It was so lovely in person. And to top it all off, we had Elihud as our chef and Victor as bartender. Niki came and did yoga and massages in the palapa. It was a really special, totally relaxing time! Make sure to stop by our new friend Riki's art and food gallery on the ocean side of the island for local wood carvings and a cute little cafe. Oh and get esperesso Carihio's at Marbella!

Amazing property, owners, and staff!

We traveled with a large group (12 adults & 10 kids from infant to 10 years old), and the experience was incredible. From the booking of the property, the information and menu gathering, to the excursion and massage bookings, as well as the property itself, we had a 5* experience. Jeffrey, Bridget, and Emma were all incredibly helpful and attentive, and Monce (chef) and her staff were absolutely amazing. We would love to return and highly recommend this property along with the "full chef experience" for a large group looking for what amounts to a private all-inclusive with its own pool and beach.

Dream Vacation

Our stay in March at this brand new boutique hotel was perfect from beginning to end. We miss it already! The gorgeous layout and decor is modern and tasteful. Every detail from the comfy bed to the spacious bathroom and beautiful toiletries to the guest service was on point. We loved lounging around the pool and meeting other guests. And nothing beats those romantic Isla sunsets. Owners Jeff and Bridget are incredible, warm and accommodating hosts. Definitely recommend Casa Coco B!

Casa Coco is Fabulous !!!

We rented for a week in Feb for our extended family gathering. We are repeat guests to the island and have stayed at the owners other property. Casa Coco is fantastic in location, dƩcor and design, and service. Unforgettable time of our lives

To say this property is picturesque would be an understatement. It is very accurately described and the location and surroundings cant be beat. We rented casa coco for a significant family milestone occasion, and thanks in no small part to our hosts the occasion and, our whole stay really, was absolutely unforgettable. We had the run of the place and couldn't have been happier. There wasn't a single hiccup, issue or uncomfortable moment. Everyone pleased as can be and comfirtable in every corner. Dawns and dusks, setsets that paint the sky every evening, the landscaping and lighting, all fantastically executed. Every sightline, every corner, the attention to detail here is exceptional. If you are looking for this type of property for a grand occasion, family get together, guys/girls getaway, anniversary, basically for any reason, two rooms or all eight, do not hesitate. There are few if any of this type of property available in the entire region much less on isla mujeres, which is an idyllic location to say the least. Cannot say enough positive things about casa coco. Kudos to Jeffery and Bridgitte for their hospitality and offering up their property. Our stay was unforgettable and immensely enjoyed by all 15 of us without exception. We are now trying to find and create occasions to get the family back there. Till next time.
