My apartment is located in a beautiful neighborhood at the base of the Wasatch Mountain range. ATTN: SKIERS It is 40 min. by car or bus to 5 world class ski resorts. Park & Ride bus is 1 mi. from my home going to Alta/Snowbird Little Cottonwood Canyon. It is 5 mi. to catch the bus to Brighten/Solitude Big Cottonwood Canyon. Park City is 40 min. by car. There are 5 mi. of hiking trails within walking distance of my home. It is 14 miles North to downtown Salt Lake City, Salt Palace, Convention center, the State Capital. Provo, Utah is 25 mi. to the South.

I have my own little city within walking distance, Smiths supermarket, Ace Hardware, fast food restaurants, banking, Dimple Dell Recreation with an indoor pool and Alta Canyon Recreation Center with an outdoor Olympic size swimming pool. Both are open to the public. David’s pedicure/manicure salon, Public park with beautiful free public tennis courts and playground. Drop-in child daycare is available one mile from my home. Jack & Jill Daycare, open Mon. to Fri. from 630am to 6:30pm.

Great property and location

This property is close to 3 Ski Resorts, stores and restaurants. It is both child and pet friendly and we will stay there again.

Perfect spot for a ski weekend

Gloria’s property was perfect for our ski weekend at Alta and Snowbird. The unit had everything we needed and was super close to the canyon!

I never officially met Jacob but we communicated through text messaging. I was so happy when he said that his ski vacation was absolutely incredible.He will be a welcome guest on a return visit to Salt Lake.

Everything was perfect. Nicely decorated, comfortable apartment. Kitchen fully stocked. Beautiful yard and bbq. Gloria couldn’t be nicer or accommodating! Highly recommend!

Wonderful!

A perfect home away from for us and our 9 & 10 year olds. We even had a little lunch party and we’re able to host and enjoy the kids playing safely in the backyard while we relaxed. We also enjoyed the hikes through the park it backs up to... I’d recommend it to anyone!

It was such a pleasure having Katie and her family as guests in my apartment. I loved hearing the children playing in the backyard and enjoying the trampoline. I would be delighted to have them as future guest on any return trip to Salt Lake.

Ideal Ski Base

My wife and I stayed here with our dog for a month. Being close to the Cottonwood Canyons it is ideal for accessing the ski resorts. The Dimple Dell Regional Park is a short walk and perfect location to exercise your dog. The apartment is clean, spacious and well equipped for preparing meals and dining. Gloria the owner and hostess was very responsive and helpful when we had questions or needed assistance. This was one of the best VRBO stays we have had and would highly recommend.

We were in the process of moving from out of state and needed arrangements for 2 weeks. Gloria was so nice and easy to communicate with. The property was clean and in a very good area. Property was perfect for family and our pets. Highly recommend.

Great hostess

We stayed at Gloria’s place for 6 weeks. It was perfect for us and our two labs. The beds were comfy, the kitchen very well equipped, tons of linens and the living room furniture really comfy. The place is quiet and we appreciated the privacy. Fenced in yard for the dogs and Dimple Dell right down the street was perfect. Simple Dell is a beautiful reserve for quiet walks. Gloria was very eager to please and we are going back. Perfect location if you are a skier.

Cozy / roomy stay

We stayed in Gloria's basement apartment with our dog and found the accomodations to be perfect. The kitchen was well stocked, and there was a lot of space for our family of 4 to spread out. The beds were comforable and there were plenty of extra linens / blankets. We used the washer and dryer several times since we were here for a ski trip. Having a fenced in backyard and patio made the place feel private and personal. The neighborhood felt very safe and was right next to a beautiful park. The grocery store was less than a half mile away. Gloria was an excellent hostess and communicated promplty prior to and during our stay. We will definitiely stay here again!

Excellent stay

The property is very well maintained and includes everything you might need for a few days. In addition, it was very easy to communicate with the owner and get any information we needed. The apartment has a complete kitchen that is fully stocked including spices, coffee, filters, etc. The beds are very comfortable and there is plenty of heat for the winter. The apartment is approximately 20 - 25 minute drive from Snowbird and Alta. It was very easy for us (in March) to drive to the mountains for skiing. There are also plenty of places to eat in Sandy within 10 minute drive if you do not want to cook. All in all, very easy to stay for a ski trip.

Awesome location

Gloria's place was great for the price. It was the cheapest option we could find that would accept a large dog. We loved having easy access to Dimple Dell trails for dog walks. Grocery store just around the corner. Quick trips to the mountain trails for running and hiking. Easy access to the freeway and lots of restaurants. The Sego Lily garden behind the property is so gorgeous and free. The rental was kind of a tight squeeze for our family of eight people and a dog. Just having one bathroom was tricky. And there was no dishwasher which I hadn't realized until we arrived. But the yard was great for the dog and the kids. They loved the swing set. The rental was a great place for the price. Excellent communication with the owner regarding our stay

Lovely quite neighborhood with lovely cozy and quaint vrbo with everything we needed for iur stay and more. Private entrance with access to a lovely fenced in yard which was pet friendly! This allowed me to meet my son and his wife (who have been stationed overseas for five years) with his dog to take to his new base! Very happy reunion!

Wonderful Experience

Gloria was amazing to work with. Everything was clean and stocked up. My kids had a blast in the backyard on the play set and trampoline. It is in a great location and everything was about a 20 minute drive or less. 10/10 recommend.

Great location for ski areas.

I was looking for a place that was convenient to the multiple ski resorts around SLC for a three week ski trip. Gloria’s apartment was perfect. Staying for 3 weeks, we really put the place through the paces and it never left us needing anything. Groceries and an excellent Indian restaurant was walking distance, and everything else was just a short drive away. The resorts in LCC were about 20-25 minutes and BCC were 30-35 minutes away and the location of the apartment was perfect for both drives. But of course this is dependent on time of day and amount of new snow. Just trying to figure out how to make this happen again next year. All the little things were taken care of, from laundry detergent, dryer sheets, plenty of towels, hand and dishwashing soap, storage bags, etc. It was nice not having to worry about buying all this stuff. The space was big and comfortable and felt like home for the duration of the trip.

Great place

The apartment was perfect for what we needed. Family of four with dog was very comfortable. A few blocks away was a great open space for the dog. Tons of space in the apartment. Great DVD collection. We could've easily had two or three more people.
