Mountain Top Lodge is true to its name, situated in the premier Deep Creek Highlands, this home features an amazing great room with a soaring cathedral ceiling, gas fireplace to ward off a cold winters night and a wall of windows to capture the beauty of the wooded surroundings. Primary suite on the main level has access to a private deck as well as a Jacuzzi tub for hours of relaxation. The upstairs loft features a twin top table with pool and hockey for entertaining evenings of fun. The family room down stairs has a gas fireplace with deck access to outdoor hot tub to while away the hours enjoying all that mother nature has to offer. You will also find the community tennis courts within a short distance as well as all the year round activities that Wisp has to offer, especially the ASCI world-class whitewater course. For your convenience, this home offers free wifi.

*Please Note: A 4WD vehicle is required in winter months (November - March).

Great place for a weekend with the girls!

My small group of friends had a great time getting out of the city and enjoying the mountain and snowy views in deep creek! This house was the perfect size, and had everything we needed for the weekend. We will be back!

Great get-away!

The home was comfy and cozy and perfect for our small group of friends! The only constructive criticism I would offer would be is that pans such as cookie sheets, muffin pans, 9 x 13 were not available for our use.

Family Vacation

The house was beautiful and spacious. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the game table and board games at the property. The kitchen was well equipped.The location was great and I would definitely recommend the property. The only issue we had which was beyond the owners control is that there was a leak with the hot water heater that caused the downstairs carpet to be damp and smell of mildew. We discovered the damp carpet about 9 pm and called the property office. They immediately sent someone out to remedy the issue. He repaired the leak and left fans to dry the carpet. Although, they deodorized the downstairs, the damp mildew smell lingered. However, I'm sure a good carpet shampoo will make the place perfect

Our Stay at Spider Top Lodge

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Although the rooms and baths were adequate, we were extremely disappointed in the number of extra house guests in the form of spiders. Despite having maintainence come out twice to take care of the matter we still found a dozen spiders crawling around the bedrooms at night even after the treatments. We left 2 nights early because of this issue and my children now won't go to bed at night even in our home without checking for spiders first. Additionally the wifi wasn't working for more than half the stay. For us this rental was a big waste of money

Family vacation

Three things I noticed in 2021 were the hot tub didn’t get hot enough and the refrigerator/ freezer didn’t get cold enough. We thought that would be addressed by now. After four days the ice cubes never did freeze. Our food all thawed out in the freezer. We called ahead to check on the grill and we’re very happy to see a new one. Kitchen was well equipped. Disappointed we couldn’t use the pool but we did go to the one in Garrett. Lovely place but needs these things fixed.

Enough space but many broken amenities.

There was plenty of room for us and the check in/out process was a breeze. Though the pool table top was not connected to the legs (dangerous, esp. since we had children there), and the foosball table was broke. The toilet in the first floor master constantly ran, we had to turn the valve each night to shut it off so we could sleep. The hot tub wouldn’t go above 80 degrees. The fridge and freezer took 3 days to reach the correct temperature (just in time for us to be leaving). Absolutely nothing we put in the freezer became frozen our entire stay . The emails I received for the check out procedures and the signs around the home with procedures contradicted each other.

Great stay

Amazing stay. Exactly as advertised. Very comfortable for 10 people. 5 adults and 5 kids. Plenty of room to spread out. Pool table in loft, foosball in basement. Kitchen was well equipped. Roads were kept clear. Very short drive to Wisp resort.

Weekend in July at Mountain Top

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Great Friends Weekend

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this place to get a few friends together; three couples have kids, one couple did not. This is a four bedroom place, however, the 4th bed is a trundle bed. Everyone was comfortable and enjoyed their stay. I recommend bringing extra trash bags and dishwasher pods. Another tip is that the password to WiFi is in all CAPS. Would definitely recommend staying again.
