Only 7 minutes from Sugar Pine Point Beach, this 3-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom property offers easy access to the beach, restaurants, local markets, shops, and cafes. In the Winter, explore the family-friendly terrain at Homewood Mountain Resort, located 5 minutes away, and more skiing and snowboarding at Palisades Tahoe, a 25-minute drive. After a day filled with natural beauty and adventure, guests will love relaxing in the private hot tub or curling up by the fireplace.

A sunlit foyer on the first level invites guests into the 2-story Main House. Hang up coats and slip off boots, or head into the adjacent mud/ski room, which boasts cubbies and a washer and dryer. This floor hosts a charming den with a twin daybed, twin trundle, TV, and sliding glass doors to the backyard. Additionally, 2 beautiful bedrooms offer restful sleeping accommodations—the primary bedroom has a king bed and private bathroom, and the guest bedroom has a queen bed.

The upper level’s open layout is an entertainer’s dream and features a polished wood ceiling with multiple skylights. A sofa and 2 modern club chairs face a sleek gas fireplace and 75” Smart TV, flanked by large picture windows revealing a canopy of evergreens outside. Let culinary creativity reign in the gourmet kitchen, equipped with high-end appliances and a spacious island. The 8-seat formal dining table and 5-seat breakfast bar easily accommodate up to 13 guests. A separate sitting area by the wraparound deck is the perfect spot for morning coffee. On the back deck, enjoy Summer barbecues on the grill or spend the night searching for constellations.

The Carriage House provides a peaceful haven with a king bed, private bathroom, gas fireplace, and direct access to the hot tub.

Amazing Post-Wedding Retreat!

A great property in a great location! We loved our stay here, and loved the quiet side of the lake. Plenty to do and easy enough to get around. The house was beautiful and all of the amenities were as expected.

Perfect family spot

This is a terrific location for seeing all of Lake Tahoe. The house is spacious and in great shape. My wife and four adult sons all really enjoyed it.

Great family getaway

Home was just as described. Great location with ample room for my family of 7. Enjoyed cooking in the spacious kitchen which had everything needed to do so. Can’t wait to return!

Our family loved this home! The Natural Retreats team provided an amazing experience for us. From start to finish the attention to detail was on the same level of a Four Seasons resort! Perfect Snowy Getaway

We stayed here with 6 adults and the home was perfect. The bedrooms feel very separate from the main living area which gave everyone the space they needed for a relaxing getaway. We were also surprised by a snowstorm that delivered multiple feet of snow in 24hrs and we never lost power! We were also very happy to have snowplow services. Everything was so beautiful and well kept—would definitely stay again!

Great house, great location

We stayed here for our 25th anniversary and it was the perfect place for us. We loved the location. The Tahoma area is less busy than north or south Tahoe. We loved being away from the hustle and bustle. The house was exactly as listed. It was immaculate a cozy. It had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The property manager was very helpful and quick to respond. We definitely recommend this place!

Great new property steps from lake

This was a beautiful property and lived up to the description and photos. The interior design was very tasteful and everything you could think of was provided. Only downside was the grill on the deck had not been deep cleaned for a while and was not usable. The location is just a short walk from a small private community beach with mix of stones and coarse sand, with a dock, the kids of all ages were happy. The hot tub was wonderful once professionally cleaned. Coffee and gelato right across the street was another bonus. Would stay there again.

Wonderful Lake Tahoe retreat

Lovely home and great location if you are looking for a relaxing visit to Lake Tahoe. Beautiful view from main room, with comfy upper level patio and lower level hot tub. Strolling to the end of the street brings you right to the lake and neighborhood's pier, or with a short scenic drive you reach nearby beautiful national parks with numerous walking trails. Within walking distance were a small coffee shop, a friendly restaurant as well as a small market , and Tahoe City is not far away for more outings. Management company was also very responsive and informative regarding my questions around our visit to this home. All in all, a great trip.

Mixed review. Family of 6, stayed 8 nights. House itself is beautiful - view, hot tub, location near to shops and trails. That said, it fell short of our expectations of a home in the luxury category and did not accurately match the description. Upon arrival, we found all bed comforters were stained - bleach, lipstick, other obvious stains. No beach chairs for guest use. Dishwasher broken. A repair person came but had to order parts so we didn’t have a dishwasher for the entirety of our stay. As a family renting a home with a full kitchen, we made nearly every meal at home. Had to spend an hour on dishes each day. Cookware is minimal and old, lacks basic tools like measuring spoons, hand mixer etc. We had to improvise . There is a washer / dryer but no laundry baskets. Sofa and barstools are very stained/worn in need of thorough cleaning or replacement. Advertised as being a 3 min walk to a Tahoma beach and a 6 min walk to Sugar Pine. Private beach and pier at the end of the road, but renters not allowed to use it. No public beach within reasonable walking distance. Sugar Pine is a 15 min walk. Lists “Tennis Courts” under amenities. When I asked for the location I was told nearest courts are at Kilner Park, which is a 15 min drive. Misleading. Natural Retreats was responsive to questions but not local and reps are are not familiar with home specifics. All of this affected our ability to fully relax and enjoy. House could be amazing with better upkeep and attention.

Tahoma Gem

This was one of the most well-appointee houses I have ever stayed in! It had everything and more than you would expect to be in your own home. The decor was beautiful and relaxing, everything just felt so cozy and comfortable. There were small details, like bedside aromatherapy diffusers accompanied by essential oils for use during your stay. Just lovely. We loved walking down to the lake, which was a quick three minute walk down the lane. Pizza and coffee were directly across the street, which proved to be convenient on our first night and morning that we had arrived. Homewood ski resort was only 5 minutes down the road, so easy to access!! Tahoe city was 15 minutes away, and held all the conveniences of a big city on a smaller scale. We will return. Summer or winter, this is a wonderland.

Beautiful Tahoe House!

We loved staying here! The property was absolutely beautiful. It was new, clean, and gorgeous! The bedrooms were great size, nice outdoor yard that the kids played in (mulch, but good to play), and was a super short walk to the lake and a small beach. The view (and amount of windows!) was amazing! We went with my husband and myself, our two kids (2.5 and just turned 1) who slept in pack and plays that we brought, my husband's two nephews (7 and just turned 11 on the trip), and his parents. The space was perfect! We did have an issue with the hot tub, but they came the next day to fix it. We also arrived to a super hot house and didn't realize there wasn't air conditioning. That wasn't a problem once we found out and opened the windows, but I would suggest (if possible!) to the owners to have the windows open for people arriving when it is hot out. The house wouldn't have been too hot upon arrival if the windows were already opened. We also suggest bringing softer toilet paper if you desire it :) On a separate note, the location is amazing! There is a small, cute coffee shop and gelato place across the street. Great beaches and restaurants down the street. We rented bikes and biked around the area and did some mountain biking. The kids loved the beaches and were also able to fish. Overall, we loved it and hope to stay here again in the future!

Very cool house. Great location. Overpriced.

The house is beautiful and the location great. We were there during a big storm and power went out, but gas fireplace remained on and kept us warm. Views of trees and snow out of the amazing upper floor windows were lovely. Not easy to see much of the lake from the house. The garage door code never worked for us and the front door was difficult to open. The living room could use another sofa or cozier chairs— the whole family had to sit on one couch for movies. Kitchen and dining room are gorgeous, but there is nowhere to store pantry items. There is a big fridge. Driveway took awhile to get plowed and 89 was treacherous, so we mainly stayed home. Which was fine, but would have been nicer if we had access to the actual master suite with the views. It’s locked for owners only. The two bedrooms are downstairs, dark and without views. The third bedroom is a separate suite that you have to go outside to get to— which was inconvenient in a foot+ of snow. The cupboards in the kitchen were a little dirty as was the bedding in the detached suite. We’ve been renting houses in Tahoe, summer and winter, for 20 years. This was one of the newest and the most stylish/modern, but has some bugs to be worked out. And for the price, we expected better service, access to the master suite, and more lake views.

Great location, but a broken fridge and multiple maintenance issues — for nearly 2,000/night propertyThe location is excellent — genuinely the one thing this property gets right. Beyond that, we were disappointed given the price point.The refrigerator ran at 54-55F for our entire 4-day stay. A technician came out, reset it, and it worked for a couple of hours and went right back to being 55. A second technician came out, but the issue was never resolved, and we were told that the fridge was “too full” which it was not. We spent a significant chunk of our short trip on calls with the host and the platform trying to get it fixed — and given the current marketing campaign for customer satisfaction the response fell well short of that promise. Not having a working fridge in Lake Tahoe for a family of 8 was a big issue as we planned to cook all of our meals from home and also pack picnics for the beach. There were other issues as well, a broken bedroom fan, non-working window cranks, broken towel racks, a chandelier pulled out from the ceiling, and a bathroom drainage problem that caused a persistent odor. The listing's advertised "in-law” suite is really just a small bedroom on a concrete slab next to the hot tub, not a separate living space. Normally, these things would be overlooked by us, and we’re pretty easy going, but the combination of everything ended up being a lot. We've stayed in nicer properties in this area for far less.

Gorgeous Getaway

Loved the aesthetics and amenities of this beautiful home! Appreciated all the bedding, towels and soap (I've rented homes that skimp on these necessities). Also received a quick response to a question I had. My only suggestion is to provide hair dryers.

Great Home!

We had a fantastic time. The house is very easy to get too . Easy location to either Heavenly to Squaw or anything in between.

Great house, tough construction

The house and location are great. House is new, well maintained and in a great location with access to a beach on the lake within walking distance and views of the lake from the deck. The beds are comfortable and very close to sugar point hiking and chambers. Only downside was that there was major construction going on multiple sites surrounding the house that made it hard to enjoy being in the house during the day and we were not given advance notice of this. If not for the construction and the lack of communication regarding it, would have been a 5-star house.

Beautiful Home in a Beautiful Location

This was a very enjoyable stay for our family. The 2 minute walk to the lake and beach was so awesome! We really enjoyed the house itself and it is a place we would love to rent again.
