Lovely stay in Kauai

The location of this Villa is perfect, close to everything yet super quiet. The Villa itself is impeccable and clean, with everything you could ask for and decorated beautifully with lovely gardens outside. The kitchen area is limited, but it does have everything you need to prepare full meals (which we did most days). We had an amazing stay and would certainly come back again.

Beautiful & clean ohana

The property is located in quiet neighborhood. It is well maintained, clean, organized and conveniently located within few minutes of beach&shopping centers. There is washer&dryer on site and assigned parking spot. The hosts are very friendly and reachable for any questions. We found everything we need in the unit but would love to have more towels.

Wonderful property, Easy Check in/out, and Great Hospitality

This property was exactly where we needed it to be, and was a great home base for exploring Kauai. The property was meticulously maintained and the owners went out of their way to welcome us and make sure we were comfortable. The quiet neighborhood was perfect for the mature couple we are, and was the perfect resting place between our somewhat hectic days out and about. Way better for us than staying at a local resort!

Perfect place

The villa was perfect for the two of us. Located within walking distance to the beaches, shopping and restaurants. Communication with Susan was timely, detailed, and so easy. The place is easily mapped out with instructions, so we knew exactly where everything was and how to use the amenities. There is a separate laundry room which was great for active people like us who want to pack light. We didnā€™t stay around the villa much, but the grounds are beautifully kept, and had we stayed a couple of more days, we would have used the grill and sat out. The koi pond is amazing and was enjoyable every morning to watch them along the maze. Overall, a wonderful place to stay and highly recommended.

Quiet Nirvana

This property was as advertised. We especially appreciated the friendly, attentive host, air conditioning, black out blinds in the bedroom and the QUIET. Be aware that many Hawaiian properties are noisy because the slatted windows that's a substitute for air conditioning lets in noise. The directions to the property are accurate - third house on the right as you turn into the cul-de-sac, but it is real easy to miss that first house at night with its car-length driveway that is immediately as you turn in. There are no street lights so night time is pitch black and your head lights won't illuminate that driveway. If you come in the daylight, this won't be a problem. One nit: The kitchen consists of a working surface that is the top of a cabinet approximately 18x36". All the appliances listed exist but they are all portable. While guests could certainly cook simple meals, this property is more suited for guests who plan to eat in restaurants for most of their meals. We would stay here again.

Nice and quiet, conveniently located

Had a great stay for 9 days at the property. It was very clean and well equipped with all things you need for a care-free vacation. Susan was very helpful in providing recommendations and tips for day trips on the island. We enjoyed the quiet. It is only a short walk to the beaches or to a small shopping area with great stores and restaurant. Would love to come again.

A Place You Can Call Home!!!

Though I booked this villas for my daughter and her husband and this is their review also I might add Susan was the most helpful and gracious to my familys needs. Here are their reviews:We had the greatest time staying at Susanā€™s Villa in Kauai! Everything was easy and well prepped; from the directions to get there, items in the house you may need (we were there for Thanksgiving and everything was provided minus the oven but she suggested turkey slices at Costco which were great!), laundry was easily accessible next door, the yard was beautiful and you could rarely hear anyone upstairs. The neighborhood is super safe and a quick drive or easy walk to the beach. Itā€™s also near all the fun shops, restaurants and Little Fish Coffee! She manages other properties next door to the main house/ villa. We were never bothered by anyone and even if we were we wouldnā€™t care because Susan was so rad. My husband and I were on a healing vacation and it was absolutely everything we needed. We canā€™t wait to be back someday and we couldnā€™t recommend staying at Susanā€™s Villa enough.

Best Spot in Poipu!!

My husband and I enjoyed our belated honeymoon at Susan's place and it was fantastic! Susan was such a great host, very communicative, and even helped us secure a last-minute rental car. We had an amazing time and with the space so close to markets, shops, and the beach (Susan provided beach chairs and boogie boards that significantly improved our beach experience!), it was really the perfect vacation. Plus, the AC and fans were an added bonus for sure. Especially when dealing with the sun burns. :) We really couldn't rave more about this space!

Beautiful setting

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful and well appointed villa. It had anything we could ask for including golf clubs to borrow and all of the beach equipment you would want. The owners are very nice and have left a folder full of restaurants, hikes, beaches and anything else you would do in paradise.

Comfortable & tidy abode in heart of Poipu

I enjoyed my week-long stay. The unit was clean, tidy, in good condition, comfortable, and outfitted as advertised. The owner was accommodating and responsive. E.g.. When I discovered that the A/C unit had failed, she had it fixed in less than a day. Note that the unit is located in the Poipu Beach Estates development on the north side of Poipu Rd, as indicated in the written description. The address shown on the map (Poipu Beach Rd) is not correct. Still, the location is very good for enjoying the south shore. It's only about a 7-10 minute walk to the nearest beach and shopping/restaurants are even closer. The closet of beach gear was very helpful to have available. I would not hesitate to stay at this property again.

Good, quiet location near lots of places

Easy to rent and check in. Very clean place. There were movies and cable tv to watch for when you're at the house. When going out, there are plenty of places near by; beaches, restaurants, shopping. Quiet location, though we could occasionally hear footsteps of the people above us. Overall, easy place to recommend.

Love being near the beach and water and easy access to mountain. Love to hike and do water arobics. Love to eat good food and love to fellowship and entertain. We had come to Kauai for our honeymoon and stayed at CoCo Palms resort which had since closed down many years ago and we have always dreamed of living here one day! Now we want to see others come to get refreshed and renewed and enjoy a tropical home away from home relaxing atmosphere!
