Come and relax at a peaceful mountain getaway nestled in the Great Smoky Mountains. This property features 2 bedrooms, a loft and 2 bathrooms. The home sits at about 3500 feet elevation and offers a beautiful mountain view overlooking the small town of Waynesville. Enjoy your morning coffee on the back porch listening to the birds singing and you may even get a visit from a hummingbird. The mountain has paved roads for easy access.

Nearby attractions:
Shopping and restaurants in downtown Waynesville and Maggie Valley. Western North Carolina is a perfect location for hiking and exploring water falls. Just within a 30 mile radius you can visit the beautiful city of Ashville, the Biltmore Estate, the Grove Park Inn, Harrah’s Cherokee Casino, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Sliding Rock, Looking Glass Falls and the Nantahala River for white water rafting and many more attractions and activities.

The views are as advertised (which is the most important thing), beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Close enough to town while still feeling secluded, very well stocked kitchen and what seemed like new mattresses on the beds.

Property had beautiful views the only the only downfall was the dog up the road who barked constantly. It kinda ruined the peace and quiet.

Relaxing stay amongst the birds

We had a great stay in this home. It was very comfortable for our family. The owner responded very quickly to us when needed. The home was nicely equipped. My favorite thing was sitting on the porch, enjoying the beautiful view and watching the birds at the various feeders. It was a very relaxing stay. We would definitely stay here again

Smokie Mountain stay

We wanted to get out of the heat as we are from Florida. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much.The kitchen was the best stock kitchen ever!! The house was clean, that's comes from someone who cleaned professionally for 40years. Overall a very pleasant stay. We saw deer a baby rabbit, humming birds in the yard.

Absolutely FABULOUS!!!

OMG - we couldn’t have been more comfortable here. It is truly their home which they graciously allowed us to stay at. Completely clean, so well stocked throughout the property, best place we’ve ever rented. Wish we could buy it, for real! Not to be, but we’ll find our own paradise soon. Besides all that, THE VIEWS WERE STUNNING. Couldn’t have asked for more. Perfect temperature for all 10 days we were there. Hope to return some day soon. Thank you so much to our hosts for a memorable and wonderful visit.

Gorgeous views and peaceful

Gorgeous views, but still close to Waynesville. Very peaceful, love having a spot where we can bring our furry family members! Saw lots of wildlife, deer, turkeys, an otter and lots of birds hang out on the deck!

Spectacular view! What a gem!

Great cabin with the best of views. Cabin is dated but neat clean and very well stocked, better than most places we have rented over the years. Drive up to the cabin has great paved roads. Unfortunately a plumbing repair was needed while we were there but owner was great at communicating with us. Overall excellent choice!

Spectacular Sunsets

The house was clean and well provisioned, and the beds were very comfortable. The view from the porch is unbelievable. Centrally located for trips to the Biltmore and the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad which were both on our itinerary. We were excited to get home each evening to enjoy the sunset. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends.

What a view

Great cabin home near Waynesville. Older but well taken care of. The view from the deck and firepit are fantastic. The sunsets are spectacular.The Kitchen was well stocked and looks like it is almost finished being remodeled.

Incredible View!!

Second time at this house and it does not disappoint!! Even better the driveway is king and level so we’re able to pull our trailer w/Harley in ok. Homeowner responds quickly which is great!! Would definitely recommend!!

Everything and More!

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. The house was extremely clean and we had anything and everything we could possibly need for our week on the mountain. We visited the Biltmore Estate, hiked at Pisgah National Forest, and ventured into Asheville for some dinner and shopping. After a day of hiking and exploring, it was nice to come back to unwind and enjoy the peace and quiet on the porch overlooking the mountain below. The view was absolutely breathtaking, especially in the evenings while the sun was setting. Aliette was also quick to respond when we reached out with a question. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life!

Excellent Experience!

This is the second time we come to have a getaway at this home. View continues to be breathtaking, everything was clean, and it had all the essential kitchen ware. Great experience and will definitely be returning!

Magnificent views and a rainbow to boot!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Magnificent views! The house was very well equipped. We felt right at home! Peaceful and quiet....just what we needed. And during our stay the most incredibly beautiful Rainbow appeared right in front of us as we sat on the porch looking out over the valley of Waynesville. Such a treat! Thank you, thank you!!!

Perfect Family Retreat

First and foremost, the view is incredible! The cabin was beautiful, well stocked, clean, and in the perfect location. Easy access to Asheville, Blue Ridge Parkway, and everything we wanted to do. We were surprised at how awesome Downtown Waynesville was though. There was an amazing park for our daughter like 5 minutes from the cabin. Couldn’t be happier with how our vacation turned out. 100% recommend staying here!

perfect fall vacay

the house was perfect for our needs, cozy, comfortable, and near town. My wife worked from home while we were there, via interwebs (great Wifi). our pooch loved roaming around the field and playing frisbee.

Location! Location! Location!

Living in Florida, we were in desperate need of a mountain fix - as well as in need of seeing changing leaves. This home was a dream. The view changed all day long with the sun setting and rising again, watching from the porch with rockers and swing. Inside the home was beautifully decorated and kitchen well stocked. Our host was all anyone could hope for. We have already reserved again for next year. What a great week!

Relaxing and beautiful get a way

The cabin was decorated nicley, very clean and provided all necessities. The bedrooms were large and the entire cabin was comfortable and welcoming. The view is breathtaking and the property is located closely to downtown Waynesville and access to the Blueridge Parkway. We will definitely book again!
