A beautiful award winning Bungalow in the Broad Ripple Village

My charming home was selected for the 2012 Historic home tour! It was also featured in a two- page spread in the Indy Star! You’ll love my place as it is an original bungalow/cottage that Broad Ripple is known for. It was completed before the start of World War II and still retains many of its beautiful and original features. When you approach my home, you will see the darling cottage-style home enclosed by mature landscape and cozy front porch surrounded by a white picket fence.

When you enter, you will be greeted by the original Indiana limestone fireplace, original hardwoods, repurposed original kitchen cabinets, sweet dining room, full bathroom with it’s original tile and two great size bedrooms. I have tried to maintain the integrity of the original home; only adding my artistic touch!

I like to call my downstairs a private bed and breakfast! This is a rare treasure in Broad Ripple! The entrance to the space is right off of the kitchen. As you walk down the stairs, you will be comforted with a spacious family room complete with a fireplace and a custom built bar made by yours truly. The large bedroom has brand new carpet, a beautiful hand made wood wall and smart TV. The half bath and laundry room are connected for your convenience. You will have all the amenities you need from a mini refrigerator, bar sink, microwave and coffee maker.

My favorite part of my home is what I call, “The Sanctuary.” You will find the ultimate outdoor courtyard experience right in my private backyard. It is all about relaxation and beauty, groomed with gorgeous and colorful landscape! It has a hand-crafted peaceful water fountain embedded in a stonewall structure, a luxurious fire pit accompanied by 6 comfortable chairs. This space also includes an al fresco outdoor dining space beneath an intricately-built and mindfully-lit pergola. Adjacent, five hanging basket swings are suspended for your ultimate relaxation experience. One will also enjoy an outdoor theatre experience with a 70" smart tv!

My home is located in one of the most hip and happening cultural districts of Indianapolis, the Broad Ripple Village. It is an eclectic neighborhood with award winning independent restaurants, boutique-style shopping, family friendly parks, fun nightlife and steps from the Monon Trail, an 18 mile trail popular for walking and bicycling.

My home is wonderful for anyone; family with kids, business travelers and groups!

A wonderful experience. The host Carly is amazing. Loved the personal note and treats she left at check in. The house is so charmingly decorated. The backyard is magical and relaxing our family loved the swings. Perfect location to dining and activities. We would stay again if we are back in Indy.

Beautiful Bungalow

Carly was a fantastic host! She was very responsive and kind. She checked in on us throughout our stay and made sure we felt comfortable. The house was very tastefully decorated. The bedrooms were very comfortable between the bedding and pillows. We loved having the outdoor area to hangout and eat our meals. I would definitely stay here again!

Great place for a friend’s getaway!

The property was absolutely perfect! Our host was gracious and thought of everything, even down to the personalized notes around the house to help us get acclimated. The house was a perfect location close to everything. The Broad Ripple community had so much to offer. I really cannot say enough good things about this place! Thank you for everything!!

Carly was the most gracious and thoughtful host that we could have ever asked for at a VRBO. She inquired about our favorite things and set up her home for us to have a lovely personalized day for the weekend of our wedding. Not only did she have local treats—she had personalized items made for us, and had bottled Coke and Dr Pepper delivered in the middle of the evening… There’s nothing I love more on earth than those and came in so clutch while I relaxed and while got ready for my wedding. Carly‘s home is so cozy and the backyard was sizable enough for us to casually hang out with visiting family members and stay warm around her giant gas fire pit.We love to eat out in this area, but on the two days that we had free we just rested at Carly‘s home—we had food delivered to just spend more time there, because that’s how nice the vibes are.I can’t recommend Carly‘s graciousness and the beauty and comfort of her home more if you are looking for a place in the area or having a group together in her backyard. Absolutely magical.

Best Bugalow in Broad Ripple

Having used to live in Broad Ripple, staying here felt like coming home. Carly goes above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your stay. The house is comfortable, clean, and has more amenities than you can list. Highly recommend!

Very well maintained and cute property. We enjoyed the outdoor space with the tv, grill, picnic table and chair swings. The front porch was also a nice place to sit. The beds are comfortable and the water pressure in the bathrooms is great. The location is a quiet neighborhood that we found convenient to get to any location in Indianapolis. We were there to attend a Fever game and it was quite easy to get to Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Carly (the hostess) is so very nice and quick to answer questions and offer suggestions. You should definitely have breakfast at Mama’s and enjoy the many breweries in the area. We had a great stay and all agreed we would come back. The listing does say there is a hot tub but we didn’t see one - that is the only thing I found inaccurate. All told, 10/10 stay!

Perfect Stay

This Stay was very comfortable. The home was very clean and tidy. The host was very easy to get a hold of. We had two small children who really enjoyed the outside back yard. The host thought of everything and we had a perfect stay.

Perfect holiday host

From the moment we booked, the host was warm and welcoming! The lovely property felt like home away from home for our family Thanksgiving celebration. Cozy and welcoming

This was our second stay at this lovely home. Carly is so welcoming and easy to communicate with. We all love spending time outdoors in the egg chairs. It is nice to be able to walk down the street to the park playground. The home is clean and comfortable. Our whole family enjoyed our stay.

Fabulous time in Broad Ripple!

We had a great time staying at this property! It was a super convenient location for us to get to Butler to see our son and to get to Broad Ripple's fantastic shops and restaurants. Carly's place is beautiful, clean and had everything we needed! She was very attentive and available if we needed anything and even left us some AMAZING popcorn and other treats! I would highly recommend staying here! She made it so easy.

Fantastic and Charming

Just a great place!

Carlys house is awesome. Great location with just a 15 min walk to downtown Broad Ripple. Beds so comfortable, every dish and utensil you could possibly need. The backyard is a great entertainment oasis. The house decor is filled with charm! We had a great get together with friends. Everyone loved the house!

Race weekend getaway

Broad Ripple & Biking

This property is cozy, quaint, and oh so close Broad Ripple and the Monon trail! The amenities were great, especially the outdoor fire pit and big screen TV, which provided much relaxation after a long day on the trail. We had such a great time that we're already thinking about a return trip.

Super amazing host. She has truly went above and beyond to make you sure you have an awesome experience. Outside is charming wish it was a little warmer to use the back patio. Inside she has put love into decorations. Everything you need is provided. Great location.

Cutest Vrbo ever!

We loved our stay at Broad Ripple. My daughter called it the cutest Vrbo ever! Carly was a friendly and helpful host. The front porch and back garden were where we started and ended our days. We took the short walk to Broad Ripple park for the kids to play on the playground. It was a nice park that has some equipment in the shade. We had a great stay.

I am an identical twin sister and live only one street apart from her. We love Broad Ripple. We created a gourmet popcorn company, Just Pop In! in 2003! In 2018, we built a beautiful California modern farmhouse with a wrap around porch and balcony. A gem in Broad Ripple. It hosts our gourmet popcorn company/distribution, beautiful beer, wine and bubble bar, award winning restaurant and gorgeous event space!
I love Indianapolis and am heavily involved with my community!
I love home! I love to nurture my home, but also love to travel! My twin sis and I make an annual trip to the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival since 1998. I moved here from Chicago so I have a big place in my heart for the windy city! The furthest I've ever traveled is South Africa!
I am a foodie and love film. My company sponsors film festivals. I am a major music fan spanning from Fleetwood Mac, DePeche Mode, The Grateful Dead to Trombone Shorty, R&B and rap! My favorite artist right now is Ryan Adams! I love going to music festivals as well!
Being a big part of my community, I am knowledgable about what is fun to do in our city!
I can share delicious dining, theaters, music venues, art galleries, museums, trails, sporting events and awesome brewery recommendations and more. I love this town!
My life motto is to be kind, compassionate and grateful!
