Check-in was smooth, but unfortunately, that was the easiest part of our stay. The home has potential, but it needs a thorough deep cleaning, maintenance, and more attentive management before we could recommend it.The primary bathroom was particularly concerning. We found a dead lizard and visible dirt and grime in areas that appeared to have been neglected for some time. Only one washcloth was provided, the regular coffee maker did not work, and although there was a Keurig, we had brought ground coffee based on the listed amenities. The dishwasher also appeared to be coming apart. Guests are reasonably asked to wash and put away their dishes, but we found a bug inside one of the glasses. The biggest issue was the air conditioning during nearly 90-degree Miami weather. It was difficult to reach the owner, and the initial response felt dismissive, including being told we should have taken photos on the first day. Although an AC technician came out, the thermostat was still being controlled remotely. The house did not become comfortably cool until roughly 12 hours before our departure. We were also required to strip the beds, and when doing so, we found a stain on the mattress cover. We understand that issues can happen, but the overall condition of the home and lack of accountability made this our most disappointing Vrbo experience. We would not recommend staying here until the cleanliness, maintenance, and AC management are addressed.
