Proudly hosted by Island Rentals of Hilton Head, this bright and beautifully updated home is nestled in the desirable Lawton Woods section of Sea Pines, offering the perfect balance of central convenience, privacy, and Lowcountry serenity. Thoughtfully designed to sleep 8–10 guests, the home features three bedrooms and two fully remodeled bathrooms, with flexible sleeping arrangements including a king bed, queen bed, full-over-full bunk, twin trundle, and a full daybed. Stylish, updated furnishings flow throughout the home, creating a welcoming and comfortable coastal retreat.
The well-equipped kitchen and dedicated laundry room provide all the comforts of home, while the private patio serves as a true highlight—complete with an outdoor dining area, gas grill, and plenty of seating for family cookouts or relaxing evenings under the trees. Guests will also enjoy free Wi-Fi, four complimentary adult bicycles provided by South Beach Cycles, and four beach chairs conveniently available at the home. Added perks include one free hour of tennis daily at the South Beach Racquet Club, with access to the South Beach Pool (located across from the iconic Salty Dog) available for a daily or weekly fee.
Centrally located within Sea Pines, this home offers easy access to everything the resort has to offer, including the Sea Pines Beach Club, championship golf courses such as Harbour Town Golf Links—home of the PGA Tour’s RBC Heritage—and renowned tennis facilities. The waterfront South Beach Marina Village is just a five-minute drive away, while Sea Pines Center and Harbour Town, known for their charming boutiques, dining, live music, and scenic marina views, are easily reached by bike.
The newly renovated Sea Pines Beach Club is only minutes away and provides dining, refreshments, and activities for the entire family. Please note that from March through September, guests must use the complimentary Sea Pines beach shuttle, as parking at the Beach Club is not permitted during this time. Shuttle maps and detailed instructions are provided in the welcome folder.
This home is pet friendly, welcoming up to two dogs with an additional pet fee, making it ideal for families traveling with furry companions. Please be aware that parking is limited to a maximum of two vehicles in the driveway. Parking outside of the driveway is not permitted and may result in fines from the community. Additional vehicles may use the Sea Pines overflow lot with the purchase of a valid car pass.

This property was in a very nice neighborhood with about a 10 minute walk to the beach and close to the bike paths. Very pet and family friendly. Overall, the property was OK . The bedrooms were nicely decorated. The bunkbeds in the kids room were nice. They also enjoyed the small room connected to their room with the daybed and beanbag chairs. However, the house could use a good deep cleaning, new rugs, and shampoo the couch. There was an odor of pet urine , and the kitchen cabinets had a bad odor inside as well . Management was responsive and sent a cleaner out to check on the house. I would also suggest a little more lighting out front as it’s very dark at night going from the car to the house. We would stay in Sea Pines again.

feb dream stay
We LOVED this home!!! Our 12th year coming and our favorite place so far. Living room was super cozy, natural light perfect and plenty of dishes and cookware to make meals. Also location next to the stables was great for bike riding . We will book again!!!

Comfy beds and couch. Nice street, location as expected, we fished the pond in the neighborhood. Free bikes were handy and we added a beach trailer to one of them. Bathrooms and kitchen not so great (small spaces and need updating). Showers don't drain well. Cobwebs in some fixtures and window casings. We changed the hvac air filter while there. We likely wouldnt stay at this house again. We love sea pines and this was a last minute booking for us.

Great location, older property, minor issues
This property is in a great central location in Sea Pines, very close to the stables and nature preserve. 15 minute bike ride to the beach, 25-30 minute bike ride (or 5-10 minute drive) to a community pool. The management firm was responsive. We appreciated the included bikes (adult) and it was simple to rent kid bikes and have them delivered. This is an older home that has been partially updated. The living and dining areas are comfortable as are the bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen is functional.

Weekend getaway
My family and our friends had a great stay. This house slept many and we were comfortable. We greatly appreciated the extra chairs that were provided as well as the bikes! The weather was super nice and the bikes were a highlight. I will say that the one room with no windows was disappointing and although the location was accurate in the description it was far from the beach. Definitely a good bike ride to the beach. Even though I say that we would definitely stay here again!

The stay was ok. The home was very musty when we arrived, took a day to get that mold smell gone. The old kitchen cabinets contributed to the musty smell. There was nowhere outside that was inviting to sit outside and enjoy nature. The couch was old and disappointing. We left a day early because we just did not see a reason to stay.

The property is located here at quiet neighborhood. The bikes were in good condition. (Takes about seven minutes to get to the beach by bike.). Nice decor, comfortable mattresses. The back yard is a bit close to the main road and gets noisy at certain hours so we did not use the back patio. Good, fast internet and a good selection of streaming options on TV. There is a playroom in the back of the “kids’ room” that, for us, served perfectly as a private office for remote work. The property is well managed with super responsive team. Thank you for letting us stay in your place.

Pool is under construction
We enjoyed renting the property but there were somethings that were a disappointment. The pool is under renovation this year. We were really disappointed that this wasn’t communicated to us in the listing or in an email. The trolley ride to the beach was pretty far and was complicated if you had a large group and needed to take several items to the beach. Some of the beds felt like they had sand on the sheets. The house was nice and we enjoyed having the bicycles to ride.

There is no mention of pool access for this home in either the listing or in your correspondence. Unfortunately, we cannot control if you make assumptions about pool access when it was never listed as an amenity.

Crappy house
We stayed here for spring break for one week.
Pros—bikes were available
Cons—property needs a good cleaning, gutters were overflowing with debris, dryer did not work (my husband had to take an hour to clean it so it would dry), holes in blankets, very worn furniture, outdoor space is practically nonexistent. Chairs and table sit on mulch so not much need to ever go outdoors to enjoy a meal. Dishwasher smelled like rotten food when operating. I contacted property manager on Wednesday and never received a call back.

Great pictures, disappointing house
1. Take flashlight for every person, walkway lighting (if you could call it lighting) is solar. Sunlight doesn’t reach the lights therefore, no walkway lights for the treacherous pathway, yes I did trip and hurt myself.
2. Not a Kurig coffee pot, take ground coffee
3. Inside pretty clean but needed to have cleaning people come and clean light fixtures so we could see.
4. Lots of mold on outside of house ( we were told it was because there had been so much rain in the past month). Management company actually had the house power washed while we were there because we complained. Wish they also cleaned the windows, they were real bad.
5. House is in a good location, bathrooms have been remodeled, new floors
6. Bikes left outside and aren’t in good condition
7. On the bright side, A/C works really good

All new exterior lighting was installed in July in the front and back of home, there's also a lamp post light in the yard by the driveway and walkway (switches are located in the entryway of the home), because it gets so dark at night solar path lights were added as an extra measure of precaution. There are restrictions in Sea Pines with how much exterior lighting you can have and when it's on. The property is not advertised as having a Keurig coffee maker, however the kitchen is fully equipped with quality appliances and utensils, all new within the last two years. Hilton Head experienced heavier rain and less sunny days in September and is also hurricane season, this type of weather unfortunately allows for algae to develop. The owners were contacted promptly after receiving a call with concern about the green algae buildup on the home's exterior and they immediately agreed to have it addressed to ensure a more enjoyable experience for you as a guest. Bedroom lights have individual remotes to control optional settings for adjusting the fan speed and brightness of light, living room and dining area lights are on the same switch and also have a dimmer to adjust brightness, all other overhead fixtures are clear glass globe lights. All light fixtures and lamps throughout the home are operated with LED bulbs. Bikes are complementary and an added perk for our guests, they are supplied by South Beach Bike Rental. Information about reporting an issue with a bike, or if you would like to rent additional equipment, is located in the guest welcome packet inside the home. South Beach Bike Rental is conveniently located within Sea Pines, they will take great care of you and address any issues quickly once notified.

This cozy and thoughtfully furnished Lawton Woods rental was the perfect home-away-from-home for a memorable family getaway! Excellent quiet location inside Sea Pines- we rode bikes just about everywhere (Beach, Harbour Town, Lawton Stables, Sea Pines Center, etc). Although the house is not located directly on the beach, it’s a short distance. We enjoyed being able to take walks to the beach in the mornings and rode bikes in the afternoon with our beach stuff. The bedrooms were comfortable and spacious, the living area was too (great couch). We were also pleased to find a selection of board games and books, which were a nice touch. The kids loved hanging out in the bonus room and it gave us adults a chance to unwind a little on our own in the living room. The fully stocked kitchen was a huge plus and had everything we needed to prepare meals, from basic utensils to high-quality appliances. The owners also included beach chairs and adult bikes that we gladly used and then rented smaller ones for the kids. The management team was responsive and accommodating before, during, and after our stay. We felt well taken care of, no issues. This rental was perfect for a family vacation, it provided us with everything we needed, and is worth considering! We would definitely stay here again!

Updated, contemporary coastal furnishings, clean and well stocked with bath towels and kitchen supplies. Central location in Sea Pines, close to the Lawton Stables. Since it is an older home it is kind of rough around the edges, especially in the kitchen, but functional. The rooms are small, so having 10 can be tight (table only has 8 chairs). If you are looking for a basic beach rental, this is fine. If you are looking for upscale and luxury, I would not recommend it. Washer and dryer are small, can only hold 2 pair of adult jeans, basically, so if you anticipate doing a lot of laundry (with kids), that is something to think about. Main concern, however, if there are small children, is the utility/mechanical area right off the kitchen, which does not have a door and has paint cans stacked right next to the water heater. The air handler/furnace is also exposed, with all kinds of other things stacked right next to it. This area NEEDS to be cleaned out and a door installed (clearly there once was). It was not a childproof situation, and the paint cans next to the water heater are a huge concern. They should be out in the detached garage. There is also a loose outlet in the living area. As a pet-friendly VRBO, this place served its purpose for our temporary needs, but I would not rent it again.

Overall, we loved it; we were able to have family visit us from time to time during our stay. The positives, from our perspective, are too numerous to mention. If you contemplate renting, here are the caveats. I would question the claim of "sleeps 10" as a bit optimistic. The most we had at any given time was 7; I felt that pushed the capabilities of the house to the limit (5 seemed a comfortable number). The wi-fi is "sketchy" which caused the streaming TV in the main bedroom to constantly "buffer" & drop out. Understanding the washer & dryer took more time than it should have. There needs to be a placard with "quick start" instructions. The owners store a lot of stuff in the closets, which limits their space to renters (since the garage is not available to renters - which I wish it was, because our car's exterior took a beating from all the tree sap & pollen - extra stuff should be stored there). The bath/shower plumbing needs work. Whenever the bath is turned on, water comes out of the shower (not terrible, but definitely an annoyance.). Lastly, unless you know the area well (and/or have a good GPS), do not travel at night as there is very little exterior lighting within Sea Pines (the house could benefit from more external lighting, as well). Understand that these are "work-around" issues for us, as our priorities were biking, beach, Lawton Stables & Forrest Preserve, & Pickleball (we found better options than at SouthBeach tennis). It all depends on your priorities.
