Great place

We enjoyed our stay at 24 surfsong and recommend this property for anyone with kids looking to get some space and direct access to the beach. Perfect for our needs and first class.

Family getaway

Rented this property for the kiawah marathon weekend. Perfect spot on the race course to cheer on runners and then later to walk to the beach or relax with family in the beautiful house. Love this spot.

Beach vacation

The home was a lovely home and a great place to be with family. It had everything we needed in the kitchen. It was so nice having our own boardwalk down to the beach. Overall we would highly recommend this home and are considering coming back

Family trip

We loved our stay in Kiawah. The house was perfect with many food and drink storage. We loved the screened in porch. Short walk down the dock to the beach. We saw many deer and other wildlife around!

Memorable Kiawah Beach front

Great location behind the second gate. Wonderful trip for our family in this beautiful, well-kept home. Definitely will return. And easy walk to the beach down a private boardwalk short drive to the Ocean Course and to the sanctuary for world class dining.

Families vacation

We appreciated all the refrigeration & the ice maker was awesome. The second story view was beautiful. A double oven would have been helpful. Garage access was nice. The upper level primary mattress was uncomfortable. It would have helped to have a working dryer the first 2 days, but we were pleased with the quick repair. Overall, a memorable & fun stay!

Already booked for next summer. We had a terrific time at the beach house. The house met every need we had including proximity to the beach which is awesome (about 100 yards straight down the boardwalk! Plenty of room in kitchen - well quipped (appliances are perfect including awesome ice machine, air fryer, coffee maker, all utensils). Living room, dining room, bedrooms and bathrooms all sizable and open; the size is just right for our needs. While we will be back, we would truly appreciate a few simple things taken care of - 1) screens on porch need some fixing as the mosquitoes get in, 2) the grill needs a desperate cleaning, 3) front steps need a power wash as they are moldy and slick, and 4) no beach towels (might have missed this point so maybe it was me and that was in the fine print). All easily managed for next summer.Loved our stay and felt very homey!

Great setting

Comfortable. Large kitchen and living areas. Good access to the beach. Liked the property. Living room upholstery was a bit soiled. Porch furniture cushions more so. Burned out light in lower bedroom. Shower curtain in lower bedroom had notable mold. Felt owner who appreciate this feedback. Regardless, we still enjoyed our time there

What a place!!

Our family stayed at 24 Surfsong for 2 weeks (Jan, 2023) and could not have been happier - what a spectacular place! Positives * Akers-Ellis (property manager) was awesome! Proactive communication via multiple channels; super-responsive to inquiries/needs; and a seamless check-in/check-out protocol. * House location is perfect - middle of the island; beachfront; beautiful neighborhood. * Quality of the home is awesome! Plenty of room for folks to have some privacy, but design of house provides multiple areas for everyone to be together if they want. * All of the fixtures/finishes are top-notch - you feel like you are living in the lap of luxury at 24 Surfsong. * The home has everything - never ran out of coffee cups, silverware, etc.. It's clear the owners want their renters to have an 'at-home' experience and they spared no expense to making sure that happens. We've rented a lot of homes via VRBO and normally leave suggestions for 'enhancement opportunities'. In the case of 24 Surfsong we have very little to suggest other than more trashcans are needed as families of 8+ generate a lot of trash on a vacation! There wasn't a Keurig when we go there, but we bought one and left it for future users :)! It took us about 2 days to contact Akers-Ellis to book the home for the same two weeks next January - we only wish we could stay longer! Lastly, our youngest daughter got engaged on the beach in front of the home! We can't thank the owner's enough for making their beautiful home available to families like ours - life is about making memories, and we hope we'll have many more at 24 Surfsong! 24 Surfsong Beach Trip

We had a great time at the property. Direct access to the beach with a small yard and enclosed back porch were beneficial.

Beautiful Kiawah Island

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed on Kiawah for 4 nights. Our boys have never been there and we wanted to introduce them to the island. They absolutely loved it! The easy access to the beach was a favorite for our youngest and our middle son loved riding bikes on the beach. We really loved the quiet area.
