This condo is in a good location away from traffic and on a golf course. It was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with spices, condiments and all kinds of cooking equipment.

This is a very nice,clean, and well-appointed 2 story townhouse that backs up to a golf course with a view of the mountains.As a bonus for us, the elk rut was nearing and every night there were many elk (bulls & cows) grazing on the course not far from our back deck. It was also nice to be able to park our rental vehicle in a secure garage.We highly recommend Elk View Retreat as a home base for exploring RMNP and the Estes Park area!

The place was terrific. The host communication was terrific. The place was clean and well equipped. Allowing use of the garage was a nice touch.We had a minor issue during our stay. The owner resolved it immediately.It was a great stay. We would stay again.

Nice property overall. House is very accommodating for guests and in a quiet part of town. Hosts are very responsive. Only downside would be no AC, which is pointed out in the listing, but it cools down quickly in the evening and they provide plenty of fans so it works out alright. Overall very positive experience staying here and would recommend.

This is a great place! Not in the hustle and bustle at the center of town but close enough which I liked. The price was comparable to all other stays available in the area during this time of year. I would say check the weather for any heat spikes in the area. It was over 85 our first day and that panicked me because there is no air conditioning in this unit. The host assured me the weather was shifting to cooler temps and boy was she right under 80 the air was not needed. One other thing for a longer stay that would make this place 5 star amazing would be better pillows and mattresses. All in all a 4 out of 5 for sure worth it!

The condo was great - well-stocked, clean, spacious, great location. Located just a few minutes from shops and restaurants in Estes Park and very close to RMNP.

Fabulous place to stay!

Perfect! The townhouse was very warm and cozy, excellent views of the mountains and the golf course. Tons of elk came to visit! Well stocked kitchen, we were able to cook all of our meals. Coffee every morning on patio, dinner in the evening on patio. Would stay here again!

Perfect location

This Estes Park location is perfect for visiting the Rocky Mountain National Park and shops/restaurants. The access to the house and garage for our car was very easy to use, and the neighborhood/area was peaceful and quiet.

National Park Tour

This was our first stop on a national park tour. We found this property to be amazing for this visit. The description of the property was spot on. The condo was super convenient and well appointed. The kitchen was fully stocked for fixing meals. We couldn't have been happier with this stay.

Nice stay

A great place to stay, conveniently located near the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. However, it was a bit challenging to find the entrance to the house. We parked in the correct garage, but weren't sure which house was the right one. The resturants and grocery store was also really close Overall I think it was a nice stay

Townhouse

The Kitchen had all kinds of pans and utensils to cook with. The deck had an awesome view of the mountains and golf course. We Loved the 2 sink bathroom lots of room to get ready.

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO.... No air conditioning. We get it. It's Northern Colorado and I expect a healthy or even unusual percentages of homes don't have A/C. Just put it in the listing. Make it clear. When we arrived at 9pm, with daytime highs in the mid 80s, and the condo fully shut, it was an oven. With all windows open and fans trying to pull in night air, it really didn't cool off until day 3. I even rechecked the listing and of the 39 reviews, only one mentioned A/C at all. And in your defense, it only shows "heat" as essential features. Quite frankly, we would not have rented the condo had we known.Other than that, the garage code quite working after 2 days. Fortunately the property manager picked up on the first call and had an alternate code for us.I will say having access to the garage was a nice feature. Often, owners make the garage off limits so having a secure place for the car, bicycle, and golf clubs was a plus.The creakiness in the shower floor was a bit much. Can't imagine that wasn't addressed after it was installed.We really just needed a bed, shower, and basic kitchen and for that, it was fine. Just really disappointed the listing didn't make it clear on no A/C.In the end, with or without A/C, we wouldn't go back.

We’re glad you appreciated the garage access and that the property manager was able to quickly provide an alternate code. We’re sorry the warm temperatures affected your comfort. The listing notes that the home doesn't have A/C, which is common for mountain properties, though we understand this may not suit every guest’s preferences. The garage lock issue was resolved after troubleshooting and hasn't recurred. We’ve also reviewed the shower-floor concern, and while it does make some noise, it isn't affecting the shower’s functionality.

Short vacation

Nice property, very clean, well stocked with everything you would need. Good, quiet neighborhood on outskirts of town. Turnoff easy to miss in the dark. Close to downtown & easy drive to RMNP. WiFi not great but otherwise everything was very good. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at this property for three days. The kitchen was fully stocked, and we especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like spices, cooking oils, and condiments 👌. The location was ideal. We were able to take several beautiful walks right from the rental, and the views were truly amazing. The only downside for us was the presence of cameras on the patio and in the garage. While we’re glad the camera locations were disclosed in the listing description, it did make it a bit harder to fully relax, as it felt like someone might be watching. Overall, though, this was a lovely place to stay and we’d recommend it for anyone looking for a well-equipped home in a gorgeous setting.

Lovely!

Roomy and comfortable. Well appointed and decorated, except for patio which needed an umbrella or shading so we could sit outside. It was just too hot in the sun. Location was perfect for what we wanted to do. Evolve management was extremely well organized and clear in all interactions. I highly recommend this lodging for visitors to the area.
