One of Folly's Best! Recently updated, this 3 bedroom 2 bath classic Folly home sleeps up to 8 people and is located directly on the beach! Sit back and enjoy amazing sunsets from the private deck or screened porch or meander to the beach on your own private boardwalk. This amazing home features 4 king and 1 queen bedrooms. The house has an open floor plan with a large dining table that will easily seat everyone. Numerous amenities including 5 HD TV's with cable and high-speed internet. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the cookware you need for a simple breakfast or an all-out low-country boil. This property also has a washer and dryer for your convenience. A short walk away you will find all the restaurants, shops and bars located along Center Street leading up to the Folly Pier. The iconic 24/7 Bert's Market is located nearby for organic vegetables, a bottle of wine or a growler from one of your favorite micro-brews. Downtown Charleston is a mere 20 minute drive making Folly Beach the perfect location for visitors looking to experience a little of everything Charleston and the South Carolina coast have to offer. Dusty's Dunes allows a maximum of 2 dogs, with a combined weight of up to 80lbs. (Pre-approval is required, and fees apply. Please don't hesitate to contact us directly for additional information)

We enjoyed our long weekend stay at Dusty's Dunes! Check-in was simple, the kitchen was well appointed, and the location of the home was perfect.....on the beach and also within walking distance to everything Folly has to offer!

Good location

Good location and walkable to Berts and everything else. Right on the beach. All of the mechanicals of the house worked well. Only feedback is that it would be nice to have a better grill and some outdoor furniture on the deck.

Great beachfront family getaway

Perfect place to stay. Close to the downtown shops and pier but far enough away to not hear the night life. Steps away from the beach. Enjoyed being able to walk straight out onto the beach. The upstairs floors are in need of repair but otherwise an exceptional place to stay.

Perfect Location

We really enjoy Folly. We stayed a bit closer to the main drag this time and it was perfect. No need for a golf cart, just walk everywhere. Great responsiveness to our one inquiry. Definitely a place to put on the return list.

Fabulous location, plenty of space

Overall very nice home. So convenient to get right out to the beach and also an easy walk to the shops and restaurants of Folly Beach. Plenty of room, many beds for comfortable sleeping arrangements!

This beach house was just right…it is in a great location and beach access was perfect, plus a wonderful view! We had our 2 pugs with us and they loved it too. We had a great time…thank you!

We loved staying at Dusty’s Dunes. It was so perfect for our family. Plenty of room, right on the beach. Super clean and comfortable. Love Folly Beach and highly recommend this property.

Birthday weekend

Had a wonderful time at Dusty’s Dunes celebrating my birthday with my significant other and friends. House was exactly as advertised and in a location that can’t be beat. Would definitely stay here again.

This place is amazing!

What a great location! We were able to walk a short distance to anything we wanted to do on Folly Beach! This place would be great for a family setting but we stayed here with our two dogs. We sat at the table in the back pouch and starred at the ocean for every meal. What an amazing place this is. If you're headed to Folly Beach this would be a perfect spot to stay!

Great time oceanfront at Folly

We really enjoyed our stay at Folly at this rental. You cannot get any closer to the beach than this house. The pictures online are accurate. It was wonderful having a screen porch, swings, and chairs to sit outside when it rained and also a nice big deck as well. We would stay there again.

Fantastic Beach House

This property was perfect for our family of eight. Size; location and amenities, not to mention the process of setting up our stay. The kitchen was more than well equipped. Beds were all comfortable. Plenty of extra blankets. Everyone enjoyed this homey relaxing lovely beach house. We are looking forward to staying here in the future.

Family Stay

We had a wonderful time at this property. The previous reviews were accurate so we knew what to expect. Right in the beach the screen porch and rockers were a favorite for all. Close to folly restaurants so can walk easily. House equipped adequately. We did replenish on the paper products and soap half way during week. Very nice. We hope to stay again

Beautiful property

This house had everything we needed and was perfect for our birthday weekend. I did think it was a little odd that the rental company sent someone by while we were there, it felt like they were checking up on us. And they nickel and dime you for everything, so I think in the future I will avoid booking with a rental company because I think homeowners have a little more flexibility. But everything else was perfect and we had an amazing weekend!

Just Fine, not Quiet

House was just that - fine. We've stayed at much nice units on Folly for much lower rates. Positives: Nice decor, recently renovated, location to beach and easy walk to town, great neighbors, common area for entertaining, quality beds in 3 upstairs beds Negatives: cheap beds downstairs, two bathrooms is too few and one of them off the dining room, persistent bug problem upon check in; we had five adults, one 7yo, and one baby, and it felt tight - could not imagine having another adult Important considerations: -The floors are paper thin, resulting in a ton of noise. With kids or older folks, you are just hearing noise all the time with every footstep. You lay in bed hearing someone else's conversation, cough, etc. It's not relaxing. At some places the floor is so thin you can see light passing through from the other level. Someone gets up at night to use the bathroom?? you hear everything -The picture of the approach to the beach is misleading. Beyond the wooden walkway there is a portion of walkway that is not "paved", ending with a 2 foot drop that you have to jump over to get to the beach - no railing, etc. It's fine for kids to jump down off the dune, but if you are older, or carrying a child (or any load), you'll want to walk to the public beach access with is fortunately just 20 yards down the block. It is not easy to get back to the house from the beach, since there are no stairs or railings. -Had several bad interactions with the management company: a) multiple dead bugs in the middle of the floor upon checkin...definitely makes you wonder about how thorough the cleaning was. When the rep stopped by to check on us, we mentioned the persistent ant problem, he thanked us for notifying him then never followed up or offered any assistance...why bother asking if you aren't going to do anything. b) after a 12 hour drive, we arrived at the house an hour before checkin...the house had already been cleaned and cleared by the management company. Desperately needing a bathroom, holding an infant needing a diaper change, I asked the management company to let us in 1 hour early. We paid $22,000 to rent this home, and mgmt co said they would only open the door if I gave them another $100. I would understand if the house wasn't ready, or if we had asked for a guaranteed early arrival, but this just felt grabby. Bad example of southern hospitality and horrible customer service.

Lovely beach house with character

Old house that has been nicely renovated but still has original flooring. Great beds but no en-suite bathrooms. Great view of beach. It has a huge drop off from path to beach. Older visitors would not be able to get back up. We used the neighbors’ walk to get back to house. Great screen porch but would have liked more comfortable seating out there. Only one extra blanket that I could find. And no bar glasses to be found.

What a wonderful place!

Great place with the ocean at your back door! We had a wonderful time just being with the family. 5 Large bedrooms and plenty of space for 6 adults and 2 dogs. Stove was difficult to navigate without the settings on the stovetop, but we figured it out. Would definitely go back when it’s warmer
