The Villages, Fl-The World's Friendliest Home Town for Retirees-55+

The Villages, Florida is the largest retirement (55+) community in the world. There are over 150,000 people who enjoy The Villages active lifestyle. The community is spans over parts of three counties. We are a golf cart community with over 100 miles of golf cart paths. We have 12+ championship golf courses and 40+ executive golf courses. The executive golf is free, although a trail fee is assessed when riding your golf cart. We have over 70 adult and family pools which may be used by the residents. Shuffleboard, bocce courts, pickleball and tennis are also available. There are three town squares that have music from 5-9 PM every night of the week and shops are open during these hours. Dancing, especially line dancing is very popular. There are also over 100 excellent restaurants and many have entertainment each night. The Villages is a very safe community with three police and fire departments serving the area. There is also a hospital, assisted living facilities and memory care facilities. We have neighborhood watch on patrol 24/7.

Our patio villa is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom single home with a screened in lanai and a patio. There is a car and a half garage. It has been recently updated with new appliances and beautiful furniture. The master bedroom has a comfortable king size bed with an attached bathroom with a walk-in shower. There is a large walk in closet in the master. The guest bedroom has a queen bed and looks out on a preserve in the back of the home. The guest bath has a tub and shower. There is a washer and dryer for your convenience. The home is fully turnkey (hairdryer, linens, towels, pool towels, kitchen supplies, etc.). Internet and cable TV are provided.

We have monthly rates during the prime winter months of January through March. We have weekly rates during the summer months (May-Aug). A golf cart is available for your use while renting our home. Our prices include all utilities and taxes. There is an additional cleaning fee of $125.00 and taxes.

Great Location

This house is in an awesome location if you like to go to the Spanish Springs or Lake Sumter Squares. It is about 5 minutes by golf cart from each square. The unit was nice and clean. John and Linda are great hosts and will help with any needs you may have. Would definitely rent from them again.

Excellent property in great location

The hosts John and Linda were wonderful. Communication before and during the stay could not have been better. We left feeling we had made 2 new friends. The house was very comfortable with a lovely open plan living, dining, kitchen area and the kitchen was extremely well stocked. The location between Spanish Springs and Lake Sumter Landings Town Squares was excellent. The golf cart was great and meant my son could have a beer at Spanish Springs and not worry about driving back! We would highly recommend this property and would love to return there one day.

Just what I needed

We had a great time in the villages - the house was a perfect location for us and the golf cart made it super easy to get around. House was clean and master bedroom bed is incredible. John and Linda stayed in communication with and made our stay perfect. Thanks for the awesome place to stay.

Great stay at the Villages

We enjoyed the property very much. Linda and John could not have been more helpful. They had everything ready and even left us a little welcome gift ! The place is comfortable and convenient to everything my wife and I went there for. The king bed was very comfortable and that's an important part of a rental for my wife and I. having a golf cart available was the best. it's a great way to get around the villages. I would definitely recommend renting this unit to my friends and family.

Great Stay

We had a wonderful stay at Linda & John’s The property was super clean and in a great location. We golfed every day, went to the pools and out to dinner at the clubhouses. We love the villages and will stay at Linda & John’s again

The owners could not have been more helpful. We were well informed of any/all information needed. They were generous with their home, their time and charged a fair price for the visit. We appreciated it so much. I would definitely return.

We were lucky to find this house and amazing owners, Linda and John. They are really nice people who went out of there way to make you feel welcomed and well cared for in The Villages. The house was well decorated with comfortable new furniture throughout the house. The house had everything you need in addition to a great location. The owners take pride making sure everything in the house is in order and working. You will not be disappointed renting from these owners.

The Villages

John and Linda are amazing hosts! They were at the house when we arrived to show us the house, and met us the next day for a golf tour of The Villages. The house was immaculate, and very comfortable. It had everything we needed. We especially liked the voice activated TV remote. The WIFI was good. The location was perfect for us. We had relatives staying at a house close by, and friends in locations further south. We liked the proximity to Spanish Springs. The golf cart was a nice bonus. We would definitely stay again. Thank you for your hospitality!

What a great rental property!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in The Villages. The rental was exceptionally clean, the owners were very friendly and helpful. The unit was centrally located between Spanish Springs and Sumpter Landing, so the location was perfect! The golf cart (included) was so much fun. Hopefully we'll be able to return sometime soon

Good location

The location is ideal to get to the town squares and recreation centers. The owners take time to acquaint you with the area and how to travel with the golf cart to locations. The home has everything necessary to make your stay comfortable. John and Linda are very helpful in getting anything you need or answering your questions. We enjoyed our month in the Villages.

Home away from home

It was a very positive experience from beginning to end. Linda and John treated us so well. They greeted us even though we arrived late, the next day they took us around to familiarize us with the area. They were the best hosts we have ever had. The house was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. It was fun to go play golf and do everything else with the cart. We loved the Villages concept and the friendly people.

Fun in The Villages

We had so much fun in The Villages in March 2019. The rental Villa was in a great location for all the activities we enjoyed. John & Linda were so kind and made sure that we had everything we needed. The Villa was in excellent condition and provided all necessary items to make us feel right at home. Beautiful new appliances and lovely furniture throughout, including very comfortable beds. The golf cart was also in excellent condition. We would definitely stay here again!

5 stars Great: Hosts, Vacation Home and Location

We received first class service from John and Linda. They showed us how to get around the villages. Their vacation home was immaculate with everything that we needed. We enjoyed having a tv in the livingroom and the bedroom. We stayed for 3 weeks with the neighbors greeting us each morning. Thanks for the gulf cart which was filled with gas. John and Linda told us to call them immediately if there were any concerns.( We had no concerns ) The villages has so many activites and the residents are very kind. This is a Disneyland for adults. John and Linda treated us as their best friends. Next year this will be the vacation home we will be returning to. John and Linda we wish both of you All The Best! Gerri and Tony

This property is in a beautiful location with easy access to local pools, recreation activities, shopping, golf, tennis, pickle ball, restaurants, two of the three squares, and all the wonderful opportunities available in The Villages.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Our favorite place in our home is sitting on the lanai and looking out at the quiet neighborhood. It is so peaceful. Our renters have told us that the bed in the master bedroom is fantastic to sleep on and the voice activated remote is a treat to use for finding TV channels. They also love the slate appliances and the Floridian Decor.
