Welcome to Key Lime Villa, a beautiful mid-island home. This spacious five-bedroom home features a private pool, beach essentials, plenty of outdoor living spaces, and is pet friendly for dogs under 30lbs. Unwind in the living area with comfortable furnishings and a large flat screen TV or spend some time on the screened lanai just off the living area with your favorite drink of choice. The chef of the group will enjoy whipping up a delectable meal in the kitchen with its top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances and butcher block island for added prep space. A large banquet table in the kitchen allowing for everyone to socialize with the chef. On this second level there is a guest bedroom with a twin daybed with trundle and a desk. There is also a half bath with laundry off the kitchen. The first floor hosts the remaining bedrooms including a primary with king bed and en suite. The other bedrooms include a king bedroom, queen bedroom, and twin bedroom with 2 beds. The guest bathroom on this level offers a huge walk-in shower and garden tub. Soak up the sun floating in the pool or in one of the many lounge chairs around the deck. Under the home is a shaded lanai with a grill and more seating to provide comfort and relaxation all day and night. Come live on island time at Key Lime Villa.

Jump on the trolley to take you south to the secluded Lover's Key State Park or go north to Bowditch Point Park. The Fish Tale Marina offers boat rentals and dockage for those wanting to get out on the water. Travel around the island in style in a rented Moke or golf cart. Trolley service is also available from Estero Boulevard to the Times Square area, the central hub of Fort Myers Beach. Several restaurants, shops, and bars have come back since the hurricane. If a day trip is what you are looking for check out the Key West Express for an unforgettable trip to Key West. Donā€™t forget to see Sanibel Lighthouse which is less than 15 miles away! Local mini getaway

The house was large enough to comfortably accommodate my family of 15 & was a very short walk to the water. The pool was a little dirty, half the TVs wouldnā€™t work & its 35 stairs to the kitchen. Overall, itā€™s a great house

Absolutely wonderful location. Friendly management company. However the doors of the bedroom off the kitchen were off the track & not usable, the water pressure was extremely weak in the master compared to the main bathroom and the clothes dryer did not work at all. They admitted that prior guests had already reported the dryer issue and the homeowner wasnā€™t responding to communication requests to correct the problem. We air dried everything but unfortunately visited during the cold front so it was taking a whole day for things to dry. They were willing to dry our laundry at the office but as a family with 5 children, having on site laundry is necessary.

I had rented the Key Lime property and drove to the property to check in around 4pm. When I got there, there were other tenants there who hadnā€™t left the property. I didnā€™t get a call about a problem until after 4 pm saying they had to put me in another property and they called it an upgrade. Two houses next to each other a few blocks from my original property address. I couldnā€™t understand why I was notified so late if check out time is 10am. This so called upgrade was an older property with a ac problem already. They told me the ac person was coming the next morning. He did show up the next morning but only maintained the ac, he told us if something the ac had a problem, we needed to put a ticket in for that. The fact that my family had to be split was bad enough, but the one property ac wasnā€™t working properly and had a musty smell in it. Then on our second day, the one pool water turned green. They did send a pool guy out that day and we had to wait 4 hours for the water to turn blue again. Even though I couldnā€™t check into the upgraded property until after 6pm, I still had to check out today by 10am. I think I deserved at least an extra hour to check out.

Great Layout and Location

House had a ton of space for 2 families to stay - including 5 children from 4-9! We loved that the sleeping areas were all on one floor and the ā€œhangoutā€ space was separate! We had everything we needed - except for forks (haha!) which SunPalace had replaced in 90 minutes. We all had a good laugh about that one! Easy access to the beach, and in a quiet neighborhood. Perfect spot to witness the rebuild of FMB!

Good location to beach

The property was conveniently located within a short walk to beach. The house worked well for our family, but being a three story be prepared for stairs. We did have some issues that required calling for maintenance and we found them to be very helpful. Everyone enjoyed the pool! This is still a hurricane recovery area, so there is construction being done, which did not bother us. Overall a positive rental experience.

Looks a lot better in the pictures

It was fine. Bed was very firm and not too my liking. They donā€™t provide any garbage bags or pretty much anything. I guess I should have read more in the description of what was provided. Guess I just wasnā€™t used to so little being there. Pretty empty house. It was fine. Just felt expensive for what was there. Beach was nice. Traffic was crazy leaving the island to fort myers each day.

Beach getaway

Overall our experience was good! The location is so close to the beach, it is a very short walk. The main kitchen area is perfect for gathering. The rental company was very responsive, kind & thoughtful. There were 8 of us celebrating our 50th birthdays & they had a birthday cake in the fridge for us. The concern was we had a small bug problem in the Master bathroom. We had several small bugs all over the windows & bathtub/shower upon arrival. We had a larger bug the first night in the bathtub/shower. On the 2nd day we were there, one of my friends was showering & a very large bug we think cockroach, somehow entered her shower. It was dead. The water wasnā€™t draining & it floated around with her. The maintenance was there to help fix the TV & he sprayed & we did not have any other problems. He was very kind & fixed the drain as well. Overall great place.

The stay

Big beautiful roomy house. The pool was perfect for our needs. My only complaint would be the grill. We planned on grilling alot but couldn't because the grill is outdated and the burners are shot.

This house was big and clean. It had a great common area/living room upstairs. Right near the beach.

The beach is only a walk of 2 to 3 blocks away. The house is large and clean. The master suite is huge. The other bedrooms are smaller but the shared bathroom downstairs has a huge tub. Theres a 3rd bathroom in the laundry area upstairs. The kitchen was well equipped, everything was clean. The owners were very easy to communicate with. We had a great stay.

Key lime villa

The location of this property is perfect! So convenient to the beach and overall a quiet neighborhood. The cleanliness was less than desired. This house needed a good scrub down. The manager was wonderful about getting us a new beach wagon due to ours being broken!

Great Place

Just as pictured! We loved the house. It was clean and tidy. The washer and dryer didn't really work well but otherwise I loved it. The pool area is smaller than expected but, again, we still enjoyed it. That being said, that area could use a little TLC. And the beach cart needs to be replaced (missing a wheel and torn up) but there were plenty of chairs, even if they were worse for the wear. We rented an extra chair and two umbrellas. I was disappointed in the prior guests who felt that it was OK to just chuck all the beach toys/accessories into the outdoor storage area. That room/storage space was messy and sandy. When we left we wiped all the sand off the chairs and stacked them nicely for the next guests. I would definitely return!

Family summer vacation

We really liked the location. The house was clean but in need of some maintenance and deep cleaning. The property manager responded quickly to the few issues that we had with the pool area.

Great place to stay

We loved staying here! There was plenty of room, the house was clean, and it was a quick walk to the beach across the street. The property manager was GREAT. Anytime we needed anything, she was quick to respond. A big storm had blown through right before we arrived, and it left lots of debris in the pool. We were going to try to clean it out ourselves, but it was just too much. The property manager sent someone right away to clean out the pool for us. I couldn't believe how quickly they helped us out! We would go back.
