Thank yo for your review. We're glad to hear you enjoyed the views and having Flippers Restaurant next door. We'd like to clarify that we did provide maintenance to the toilet and do what was possible while you were in the condo. However, it needed more than we could provide while you were staying there as we did not want to disrupt your stay. The toilet issue has now been addressed for future guests and we apologize for the inconvenience.

For the sake of others who may read your feedback about the building repairs, please be reminded that we made sure to post the following disclosure in the property listing as well as the other 9 units we manage at the resort, promplty after we were informed by the resort management this past November: The Lovers Key building exterior repainting and balcony project is projected to occur 11/30/23-2/28/24. This project will involve workers on site, swing stations and contractor noise between 9 a.m.-5 p.m. This is an estimated completion time frame provided by the Lovers Association Management. Factors outside of the general contractor's control, to include inclement weather may alter the timing and completion of the project. The Lovers Key Resort, amenities, pool and restaurant will remain open during the exterior repainting and balcony project. While Fort Myers Beach continues to rebuild from the impacts of Hurricane Ian and though our island paradise may look a bit different than it once did, the sun continues to shine each day and brings with it spectacular sunsets to savor and new memories to be made. Ongoing renovations are taking place throughout Fort Myers Beach and many local shops and restaurants continue to reopen and welcome your support with a visit to Fort Myers Beach and Lovers Key Resort this Fall & Winter of 2024!

We’re so glad you enjoyed the peaceful, secluded setting, the beautiful views, and the easy access to Lovers Key Beach — it really is a special spot for dolphin watching and relaxing mornings. We appreciate your suggestions regarding the beds, pillows, and TV, however it's important to understand that bed firmness is a matter of preference and it's impossible to please everyone. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We appreciate you noting that the unit was clean, livable, and in a good location. We would like to clarify that we did not hear from you at any point during your stay regarding these concerns. Had we been notified, we would have been more than happy to come by to look at the shower door and bathroom door right away, as we always aim to address maintenance issues promptly when guests let us know. We will be sure to take a look at these concerns now that we are aware. Regarding the rug at the entryway, it has been professionally cleaned multiple times. Unfortunately, the entrance door rubs against that area of the rug each time it is opened, which makes it challenging to keep that section looking pristine. That said, the rest of the carpet throughout the condo is in very good condition. Wishing you all the best in your future travels.
